McDave, it definitely wasn't a regular night of skating. lol! I did spend some time in the ring, but with all the laughing and my instant Chinese eyes, I was better off on the carpeted areas. lol! The place was packed too. One of the main things that sticks in my mind from that night... some girl got sick and was trying to get from the food area all the way across the place to the bathrooms. We could hear a commotion, and see the crowd part as she made her was through it with her hands cupped over her mouth. She tried so hard to make it, but she exploded a couple of feet after she passed me. Left a trail of pizza across half the place. I never laughed so hard in my life. Then I had to check out the trail, and laughed even harder. People were gagging and turning green. It was the funniest thing ever. Poor girl. lol!

Hello Mr. Satriani, what a pity that your concert has been cancelled in Hamburg. Could you please tell me the date you'll play in Hamburg next time? I need pressingly two tickets for your Chickenfoot tour.

The best wishes from

Chee, funny enough, I would have loved to have some of yer days! Spending yer youth AS a youth is the way to go. Spending yer youth trying to numb yerself...emmm, not so much. lol! Managed to have some good times though. lol! Got most of it out of my system by the time I was 24. Once I decided to start a family, that was the end of the wild days. Still have some good times, but they're not chemically induced... cause drugs are bad. lol! That said, I am a Mc...so I still get my swerve on ;-)

Party on Wayne ~

I always thought it would be cool if you could more easily share guitar licks in forums. I finally created a site to do that, and put it out there last week: TinyLick.com.

Here's a lick to check out; It's a 3-note-per-string run in G: TinyLick.com/BwAAAA.

I hope you guitarists out there like it!

Did someone here try to join my T2J Facebook group today? I got a join request from a name I don't recognize.

I know we don't really use the group for anything, but I'd like to keep spammers off it if possible. ;-)

GoldenGirl2 - KLOS has changed a bit over the years (especially in the last two years or so, now that they're LA's only classic rock station), but I still love 'em. It's so cool that they let someone like Jim Ladd continue to do his thing (free-form radio, heavy on audience participation). It makes radio fun...
1983merman - Hi...welcome!
roo - Congrats on the T2J ap! I don't have an iPhone, but I hope it's successful...
axeshredderjc - Another good interview...they just keep coming, don't they? Thanks for the link...
Blue_Moon - I guess I'm glad I live in the US... ;-) I went to the Netherlands in 1997, and I remember hamburgers being very expensive then. It looks like that's still the case...
ebuljan - Hey, that's a really cool idea...!

While reading the Guitar Center interview axeshredderjc posted, I found two other ones:

Chad Smith
Chickenfoot

Some of the quotes in the last one are used in the one posted earlier, but both contain other info.

scubadaz - You show up as a member when I look at the group...do you not see yourself there? Here is a link again. Depending on your Facebook settings, you might not have been notified when I added you.

The group isn't much right now...about the only thing it's useful for is to find pages of other T2Jers. We could probably make good use of the videos section as an index of YouTube videos from live shows...maybe I'll set something up there in time for the US tour.

Do the Stu _ yeah they sure do....being under an independent label, they didnt flood the market so the word is starting to slowly seep in...and Chad's popularity seems to be outshining the rest as far as the masses go...the Conan Vid i posted has drawn comments from many differnt people...over 110,000 views..about 2000 a day...and now its being copied all over youtube....Now thats a stat that no one pays attention to..90% off all the comments are about Chads Shirt, his hair, or shock that Will Ferrel is playing drums..lol ...thanks for the Chad link..How did i miss that?..lol

After reading that last interview I'm thinking maybe Joe switched to the Marshalls for a heavier sound live.

Thanks for the interview postings!

I thought there would be more live music in San Antonio, and from what I hear the Austin Texas music scene has went in another direction.

Welcome to the forum. Joe is on occasionally.
