Thanks guys. The doc said he should be feeling better by the weekend. I was just reading about the incubation period and spreading of the H1N1 virus. If the rest of us are symptom free for the next 2 weeks, we might be safe. LOL!

Lawd hepp us!

Skippygirl - Thanks for posting that Satch interview. I hope Chickenfoot makes its way down under...it really sounds like Joe is trying to make it happen.

Blue_Moon - I don't remember...did it rain at all when you were in LA? Everyone in Southern California flips out when that happens...people forget how to drive and get into accidents everywhere, and TV news stations go nuts with "Storm Watch" coverage.

Insanity...

MarkEVH - I bet he's been invited, but Eddie has made it quite clear in the past that he doesn't want to be part of G3. Unfortunately, I don't see him changing his mind...especially now that Joe is in a band with Sammy and Mike.
RedJeanette - The message board here can be a bit confusing at first, but after a while you'll like it. It's a nice change from how things are elsewhere. Just remember to use the "last read" links at the end of each post.

It's cool to see you mention Buddy Guy and Robert Cray...I've seen them each once or twice in concert. Good shows. Do you like any younger blues guys, like Jonny Lang or Kenny Wayne Shepherd? Or what about Davy Knowles, the opener at the Chickenfoot gig?

Thanks for the link to your CF videos...I'd love to see your pictures too, if you don't mind (it was probably me who mentioned the SF show)...

michelle - I hope your son recovers quickly, without getting the rest of you sick.

I've been feeling like I might be catching a cold (or something) the past few days...hopefully it's only in my mind.

Joe,

I love the new Chickenfoot CD! It has a totally different feel to it then any of your solo or G3 albums.

You really let loose on the soloing which is cool. Was it more challenging to get used to soloing around vocals on every song?

You guys seem to have so much energy and are truly into this project, do you think it will be a G3 kind of arrangement where you go off and do solo projects and then come back to do more Chickenfoot?

Keep up the always amazing music!

Paul

Apparently some people are running swine flu parties now. (remember chickenpox parties?)

Hope yer arm is ok Chad. Hey Joe, how bout you talk the foot into posting here once or twice, would be a blast.

Not sure what's taking apple so long to approve my T2J iPhone app. They did a test post a week ago and ive not heard anything from them since. Oh well, it'll come I guess.

...................

An Amish boy and his father were in a shopping mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.

The boy asked: "What is this, Father?"

The father (never having seen an elevator) responded:

"Son, I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. I know not what it is!"

While they were watching with amazement, a fat, old lady in a wheelchair moved up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small circular numbers above the walls light up sequentially. They continued to watch until it reached the last number and then the numbers began to light up in the reverse order. Finally, the walls opened up again and a gorgeous 24-year-old blonde stepped out.

The father quickly and quietly said to his son: "Go get thy Mother!"

Students get X-rated surprise in class DVD

Teacher seen having sex in video; district tells parents to destroy the disk

AP - ELK GROVE, Calif. - A Northern California elementary school teacher sent her students home for the summer with a video of class memories, only the DVD included six seconds of her having sex on a couch.

Officials at the Elk Grove Unified School District asked families of the teacher's 24 students to get rid of the DVD after the unintended clip was found spliced in a scene where children were sharing stories in class.

"Just destroy them," said spokeswoman Torrey Johnson.

Johnson said the teacher, whose name isn't being released, sent the DVD home with her students from Isabelle Jackson Elementary on the last day of class Friday. She learned of the mistake after a parent called her. She then called all the parents to ask them to destroy the DVD.

Hi all,

It's been a while since I came here. Some of you asked where they can hear my instrumental rock music. So here it is. And I really don't mean this as spam. The quality of the sound samples betrays the high sound quality of the actual CD. http://cdbaby.com/cd/manfetano

LMAO! Why are people obsessed with filming themselves having sex so they can watch themselves "perform" later? Same thing with nekked pics. It usually always ends up being pilfered and in the hands of someone else. I think it's pretty damn funny to be honest. If yer stupid enough to do it, well then.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for my son. He's looking a bit better than he has been. He's moving around the house and sitting up more instead of being a blob of sweating shivering sleeping mess on the sofa. He was burning up, but said he was freezing cold since Sunday night. Right now his temp is 100.4. yay.

Roo, did yer whole family have the same symptoms? Our doc said that right now there's only one flu going around, and it's the H1N1 "swine flu". He said they worry more about the elderly and young, and those with compromised immune systems. Most healthy ppl get through it with no meds except fever reducers - which is all my son had to try to keep his fever down. Hope yer fam is all back to normal and healthy soon.

Hi all! Long time, no posting...

Been trying to catch up in reading all the posts, but that's impossible. You guys post more than I can read. So, I had to take a 2 months leap until today.

Was planning to go to Madrid but with Chad's injury now that's no use.

Been watching lots of Satch lessons on youtube, it's great for my guitar playing :) It's also great that he's willing to share all that stuff. I've also found inumerous rare videos and footage of him performing live, but I bet you guys already know them.

Chickenfoot CD hasn't reached the stores yet here in Portugal (at least the one I usually go to) so I've only listened to the broadcasted mp3. It's ordered though.

Also, all this Chickenfoot thing brought up some nostalgia and made me look for Eddie stuff and I'm kinda re-discovering his genious. The fact is a few years ago I couldn't even figure out where to begin with. Now I kinda found my starting point and I finding Eddie's playing a great inspiration.

Another guy that recently blew my mind was Petrucci and his solo on "Best Of Times" track. Now that's what I'd like to play one day! DT played here in Lisbon a few weeks ago, it was awesome!

Hope all you guys and gals are ok.

I'll try not to spend a couple of years until I post here again :)

Cheers, VP
