michelle - Thanks for the skunk...argh. ;-)

Before we moved earlier this year (and before I left), there was this skunk that loved to sneak into the garden next to the newsroom. And it always seemed to wait until just before deadline to stink everything up, so we wouldn't be able to take a few minutes to find it and shoo it away.

carguy12 - Hi...welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself...
Latin me - You can probably find the manual for the pedal online, if you look around on the Vox site...
JimathyIrish85 - Welcome to you as well! It's cool to hear you still like the LISF DVD, after all these years. I was there the night it was recorded...what a great show.
Skippygirl - Thanks for the Chickenfoot links.

It's always cool to hear Highway Star, but Joe is playing the solo differently now and it bugs me. I can't call him/it wrong because Joe was IN Deep Purple and can do what he wants, but I think it sounds better when he waits until the second time through to double up the bends. The section starts at about 3:12 in the video you posted and at about 3:42 in this video from The Roxy.

It sounds like Sammy is singing the call and response part wrong (early), which is probably why Joe changed the way he does the solo. Argh. Does this bug anyone else?

Thanks for that top 100 list, as well...it's interesting to see Jeff Buckley has four songs on the list, while Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd only have two each. I disagree with Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine being 1 and 2, but it's cool to see such a varied list...

mowlie_2000 - The photos on that page are dead...try again?
death cube k - Welcome back...did you go somewhere (I don't remember), or just take some time off?
Patrick N - Another newbie...? Welcome to you, too!
Listening to: Lacuna Coil - Shallow Life (current song: The Pain)

...Austin...

I'm looking forward to your review, and If possible, extended hints of the setlist he's played. He will probably make changes from one gig to the following, but it will give a conspicuous clue of what I'm gonna listen next week.
Enjoy JB ! (I don't mean the whiskey, but on that particular concern I leave it up to you)

Do the Stu- After revisiting the post-VH Sammy and FITP, I have to agree with you on Sammy and the guitar. I like the facet his playing adds to anything I have heard. I can say I like Sammy's soloing because he is probably the closest to my style of playing than anyone else I know of. He noticeably picked up a few things from Eddie but not so much it changed his style. He is not a magnificently showy player but he is solid and stylish.

You have to wonder about this tour and it's longevity. I for one can see the anticipation building in other parts of the world specifically South America where Joe has a huge dedicated fan base. The other guys are not really used to touring at length in some of these places. I for one think Joe is sitting back and saying to the guys"wait until we hit Brazil". or Brasil as they say down there. I see this thing going for a while. I may be wrong but I hope not. And in the meantime they can work on the next record. And of course an Australian tour for my friends there.

castle, you could see the disaster before it happened. Yes, everyone knows you don't charge a skunk...except drunks and idiots, and I take it those guys are both. lol! They got what they deserved, and it was funny as hell! Bet that house still reeks.

Cappy, yes, that's exactly what I meant. LOL!! Some are hilarious, and some are so not that they're even more. It's exactly what you said I said. Now...yer nuts are hilarious you say?

OoooooOOoooo, speaking of nuts.... my daughter and I were out shopping. As we turn the corner I see a man standing there trying to decide which way to go. This man was a biggin - weighed at least 225 - 235, and as I look at him, his bright royal blue SPANDEX shorts catch my eye. Before I could move my eyes away fast enough, I saw it. This 50 something dude had a feckin. camel toe that was the size of a small child ffs!! I didn't even see his junk, just this massive wash my eyes out with Clorox then scrub 'em with brillo all up in his stuff for lack of a better visual camel toe!! It was like a front butt - I swear! Now, I'm so damaged that just the simple word NUTS flares up my PTSD! lol! I wanted to scream and point and jump up and down and scream some more, but I literally couldn't even speak for a few minutes. I was just going "ewww, ewww, ewww, ewwww" and my daughter didn't know what happened. lol! It was baaaaad!

Ewwww, my eyes!! Make it go awaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy! lmao!!!

Cube, you woulda loved it. lol! WB Wait!! You weren't by any chance on vacation in my neighborhood, were you? LOL!

We actually have a rabies alert in this county with 2 confirmed cases. We have a lot of skunks here. I have been noticing the rise for a couple of years.

Chelle- Those sights are difficult to remove from your thoughts.

Why does my local Wal Mart not carry the Chickenfoot album? I have friends who have gone there to buy it and it's not there.

Put on some boxer briefs (or spandex shorts/pants if you have them)

Stand in front of a mirror.

Pull briefs UP to yer armpits.

See results and get back to me on that.

lmao!!!

aaaggghhhhhh!!

Girls, ask a friend to do this for you. Preferably an overweight friend over 50. Be warned...it's not pretty. lol!
