Hey Joe just wondering if you have any idea weather you will continue Chickenfoot next year or a new album? I think it would be cool if you toured with all your albums playing a song or two from a select few.

I just had a chance to see the additional drum vids Michelle posted. The Stevie Wonder video is absolutely insane!!!!

Happy b-day to Mr Skippy!

PeaceLily: Thx for posting that link. Incredible.

Blackmoon: We only have heavy metal bars here in Juarez (as far as I know), so if a band tried to play anything that strays from metal they would be thrown off the stage. I like metal a lot, but sometimes it would be great if there was a little variety. How did the gig go?

GlitzMan: That is a great job u got there dude! Congrats and wish you success on your upcoming races.

You always have a choice on how to live your life. I always choose to be positive and forge ahead, no matter how high or low I may feel. I've been thru some really bad times in recent months, but I never dragged myself in the mud, always kept walking, looking to the road ahead.

Last night was an amazing, magical, unforgettable experience. I am not alone, and the road could not look any better. With trees and lakes, just the way I love it. And it's a road wide enough for two. How long will this trip last? Time will tell, but I won't worry about that. I have everything I want here with me. Time to enjoy life.

Hey Joe, FYI - ESPN is at it again. I was watching ESPN News last night (9/4) at around 9:05 PM and during the NFL highlights the background music sounded awfully familiar. I listened more closely and they had someone doing a blatant ripoff of "Summer Song". Go get'em, Joe. Thanks, Headless.

Elpp, glad you liked the vids. Yer way of looking at things sounds like a great plan. One of the reasons I love & respect Joe so much is because he's so optimistic. We shall call him Optimist Prime!

Just saw this on the web Skinny thighs could kill you. LOL! I'm good man, I'm good! Never had that problem, and never will. My breeder hips have plenty of leg to go with them, though I could use a bit less junk in that ol' trunk of mine. lol!

Posting from beautiful Lake Tahoe....

Well chelle, sorry to say I did fall down on the job....Austin did have a gigundo margarita last night, but I couldn't talk him into more than the one, so he dint get as likkered up as we'd hoped, LOL!! He might be more skerred of me now than u, come to think of it....LOL!!

But it was a really really REALLY good dinner...we ate at Sammy's Cabo Wabo restaurant and everyone was saying how amazing their food was, starting with the chips and salsa!! GOOD JOB SAMMY!! Quality all the way I'd say...and they had Chickenfoot music blastin throughout the evening, even Bitten By The Wolf...and other Sammy stuff, but the only ones I really keyed into was the Chickenfoot songs, Austin will hafta tell you what the other music was cuz he pays attention, lol!!

Chris had his first gambling experience on the penny and nickel slot machines with MOMS monies...and when he won a small pot he kept it ALL!! Somethin ain't right with this sitcheeashun......

We were gonna do the bucket ride clear up to the top of Heavenly...well, I was gonna hafta totally twist Chris's arm into doing it...he looked up...and up....and up to how high the buckets go and said NO WAY MOM!!! And I was telling him YES WAY!!! But den I saw the price of the tickets and said "OK, you win!!" LOL!! So we just walked around the shops instead, and checked out the casinos, and the venue, and had dinner.

It was great to finally meet Blue_Buffalo....Freddy and his wife Shannon, great peeps!! We'll enjoy getting to know them even better today in line, cuz dey's gonna stand every second with us :) We already made friends with one security guy at the venue, so there Mckenna....there'll be more today :)

At breakfast this morning, started chatting with a young woman who does an internet radio show...she's more into the heavy metal but has a very wide taste in music, knows who Joe is, Chickenfoot, etc....and she and Chris tried to trip each other up by naming songs, or humming parts, and seeing if the other knew who it was. He met his match!! They both knew more than I could ever hope to remember, lol! But we gave her some names to check out, such as Vinnie Moore, and of course Davey Knowles and Back Door Slam :) Oh and WEINER, WEINER, WEINER!!!

So now to the hot tub, and then eventually meandering to the venue to start the line vigil. Meeting there in a coupla hours, it'll be a long day but cool, and ending in the BEST WAY...

CHIIIIIIIIICKENFOOOOOOOOOT!!!!

LOVE YA JOE, SEE YA THERE!

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elpp, where is Juarez? Iam sorry for asking but may you can call me stupid. Well it is time for revolution... you may start it.... :)

Well the gig was not so good. the drummer had a thing i don't know what , but it was his worst performance so far. I hope it was only a bad day. But the simple listener couldn't realise the difference. i hope next performance be better.

bbbbb

Blackmoon: Juarez is in Mexico's northern border. It's probably easier if you look up El Paso, Texas, USA on Google maps and just scroll south, we're right across the border. Now, if you do a news search for Juarez, you will probably not like what you see. We are now oficially the most violent city in the world that is not at war, around 1500 murders this year. In fact this week we were on Yahoo's main page due to an attack on a drug rehab center that claimed the lifes of 18 people. Yikes, hopefully all this will end eventually. Oh and next gig will be better I'm sure!

Michelle: I definitely feel Joe's positive vibe in his songs, and his off-stage demeanor (onstage he's in a trance, so that doesn't count :) ).

Looking for some advice from all you seasoned guitar verterans out there. As you may be able to tell from my nick, I'm a keys man, but in the last two years have decided to pick up the guitar. Bought myself a cheap ESP M-50 to learn on, thinking, "well if I suck, at least, I won't have spent a bundle". So now I've gotten not too bad, and have stuck with guitar and I would like to upgrade. . Is the best approach to just try out lots of guitars and see what feels best? I would love a JS 1200 but it seems stupid to buy it just because Joe plays Ibanez. My practical side is telling me to try a strat, gibson, etc...

any thoughts??

minimoog :- Don't worry so much about the brand you buy, but, yes,Quality is important. If you pick up and play a guitar and the neck feels good to your hand then you are 90% there. If the guitar sounds good unplugged, that's another 5% out the way.Plug it in and play.Does it sound good? That's the last 5%. This approach has never failed for me,so I hope you find it useful,my friend.

Scubadaz: Agreed. I don't practice enough. I do have some nice prolific 9-12 hour days, but my daily routine is way too short. And I never do warm ups. I just get the blood circulating other ways and maybe run through Petrucci's Glasgow Kiss once and then i'm off to my terribleness.

EIGHT peeps from T2J in the third row at ChickenHOE!!

T says the crowd is rowdy! They're so ready for the show to start. They've been in line since lunchtime! Must be lots of premium bitches...um... I mean people in Tahoe. lol! All day in line and ya still get the third row. *sigh* I know Joe will spot the very tall and very familiar (25 feckin Joe shows!) Austin right away, then he'll find the rest of them. Can't wait to hear all about it :-)

Ohh, T just said she's call me while Davy is on in about 10 minutes. Sweet! Dunno if I'll be able to hear them though. Davy's band was sooo loud. It might just sound like noise... but it's still fun. lol!
