My younger brother and I are in the Soap On A Rope video...! The indoor concert scenes were filmed at the Fillmore road test gig. You can see us in the shots from behind Joe's amp, looking out into the crowd. We're two people back, on the far right (my brother on the edge, me to his right). I'll post time stamps or screenshots later.

AND, even cooler, there's a quick scene (end of the first verse) where Joe is wearing the T2J shirt that Mahavishnu/Brian made for the group of T2Jers who met up at the last show of the PSATMOR tour (see the shirts here).

My new phone does everything...I like being able to access the internet, but I can do without all the other bells and whistles.

Cool to hear that you like Davy Knowles. His two CDs are definitely worth picking up. The first one, Roll Away, is really raw and reminds me of early Jonny Lang. The second one, Coming Up For Air, is very well produced so there's a different (but still good) vibe. Peter Frampton produced it, actually, and IMHO it sounds exactly like you'd think it would.

And you bought The Simpsons Season 12, right? I forgot about its release (shame on me!)...I'll have to pick it up tomorrow.

BTW, now that I'm visiting my parents I've finally been able to pick up the LTE box set, so I can get the other CD to you. I'll email you in a day or two...give me some time to figure it out.

On Brett Favre, I think he should have retired about five years ago. Lately I think he's been hurting whatever team he's been with. It's insulting to the other QBs on the team...one day they're fighting for the starting position, and the next they're 2nd and 3rd in line. This season would be better spent developing rookies, not giving a last hurrah to someone past his prime.

Dave Matthews Band sax player LeRoi Moore died a year ago today. I was at the band's show they played in LA that night...it was definitely one of the most intense concerts I've ever seen.

My son Chris isn't going on this trip, it was always planned that way...but I'm taking him to the show in Lake Tahoe so he'll get his chance, and be more recuperated that way too. You've read the Twilight series then? Me too! And my brother!! He most especially loves it, I think he's re-reading it for a third time already and can't wait for the next movie to come out.

elpp, thanks...and he's okay, it's the ups and downs of post-surgery...feelin no pain initially and then it hits after all the anesthesia and stuffs wears off. Mom nags him to rest as much as possible, by evening he's more sore and tired if he dun't listen to me! Always listen to yer mudder, lol!
