Just wondering, when is your plan to come back down under? Your concert last year at the Enmore was AWESOME! The funniest part was as every one was leaving as everyone had their heads to the floor searching for your picks, and I mean EVERYONE. Anyway love your stuff man, always an inspiration every time I hear your stuff. Catchya

Slanshroom - cool about the Mac!! Sphincter unclenched now then. Are you sorted on backup devices?

Skippygirl - thanks for the heads up. You have mail : )

Elpp - really nice video!

Cosmic Ape - sorry man, had no idea you'd posted Rain Clap before. Someone emailed me the short clip I posted. Full version is seriously cool - thanks for finding in the first place

Guitarvibes - great article, thanks for posting

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones is in a new band with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) and Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age)...the group is called Them Crooked Vultures. Their CD comes out October 23 (click here).

They are playing a gig in Chicago this Sunday. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and will go very quickly...if you live there you need to be there. Click here for more info on that. Also, for the UKers, I've heard from someone in the know that they will be playing the Reading Festival.

burly - It'd be awesome if you can make it to Tahoe, but if you can't you NEED to go to the Atlanta gig. That one will be recorded for a possible release (just like a few other shows have been).
Pip55 - Sammy's voice sounds great in those clips...probably because it's the start of the leg. Hopefully his voice is getting used to be back on the road now, though, and it'll stay at this level for good...

Hey this is my first post! Anyway Joe, I just wanted to tell you how much of an inspiration you have been to me and that you have sparked my interest in guitar playing.

Next time you're in Philidelphia maybe we can hang out and talk about aliens or something lol.

Peace

P.S. : The T2J iPod Touch / iPhone application works great, I'm using it now!

It's nice to see another Chickenfoot podcast...it's been a while. And it's cool that there's a T2Jer on it, as well (toward the front of the line, of course)!

I downloaded it through iTunes and I have to say, I never thought I'd see the day where something Joe-related has an "explicit" tag next to it...haha.

austin12211 - Welcome to the site! And nice name... ;-)
axeshredderjc - I wish we could buy a Chickenfoot shirt with Joe's lettering like that...I think it looks really cool. And slightly related, I hope they'll have more shirts for sale than what we can see in the Chickenfoot online store. I already have a black w/ white logo and a red w/ white logo...I want to get another shirt, but I might not if my only choice is black w/ red logo. Argh...

Joseph--Those guitars that follow you around the world are looking beautiful and sounding so sweet and it's all because you have the best guitar tech in the world!! You're having way too much fun with those pedals......magic that they are! I don't care how long it takes to meet ya! I'm taking a number as huge as it is and standing in line for a bizzillion years!! Meanwhile, I'm playing my Fender acoustic and taking lessons from Ry Kihn and listening to everyone's nightmare.......Nights with Alice Cooper online at Q107, Calgary, Alberta.

OMG--Blue_Moon--How is it you've found out my weakness for Facebook?!!! A mad addiction.....I tells ya! ;-)

The youngins are restless these days! And some of us middle-aged ppls as well.

Ibanezplyr--I went to Dublin, Cali on Sunday and noticed the people hangin' around the local Peet's Coffee place. Then I looked out the window and noticed a whole bunch of new condos, row houses, townhomes have been built up over the last 6 to 7 years! It looks like they are tryin' to copy Dublin, Ireland architecture-wise. Only they can't because Dublin, Eire can't be copied because it's the old country (with a lot of restless youngins similar to here) and unique in its way.

Los Gatos has a lot of youngins hanging around at the Borders book store and Coffee Roasting Company. I love the coffee houses of California......great bevies! OMG!....the teen girls at Borders were sayin some of the same things I remember my friends and me sayin' when we were their age! "I'm bored!" "There's nothin' to do around here!" My friends and I used to say that when we were just lazin' around and scribbling on pieces of paper! Ahh.....YOUTH! The world is your oyster.......and you may never pass this way again! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!! ;-)

GG2: Thanks for looking around Dublin. Not far from the music store across from the PD. I'm usually down there some time that day. Were doing lawn projects right now. I'm working on my sweeps and shuffles on guitar. Have fun with the Flickr.com/photos/Ibanezplayer. Joes' on page two.

My father in laws first name is Austin and the Six million dollar man's name was Steve Austin.

So now I have to refer to Do the Stu as Do the Stu, but that's okay. Welcome Austin from PA.

Do the Stu-It would be very cool to join you guys in Tahoe, but I am afraid I wil be into harvest by then. I think I can still swing the ATL trip as far as my schedule goes. May have to take a rain check on a T2J get together. If I go to ATL it will be a quick flight in the day of the show and leave out the next morning.

On the Sammy Hagar post VH subject, What is your take on the "Livin' it Up album? bought it a couple of weeks ago. I really like some of it but it is a little jarring listening to Sammy do country music. I would have to say I like the album although I am not really big into country.

Good night all .G'day Aussies.

Austin: It was Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at around noon (I have the ticket, don't think I have such good memory!!!). He was doing the warmup shows at the HOB before recording LISF.

My sister took this picture inside a toy store, we frantically went back to LA to have it developed, and Joe signed it when he arrived at the HOB later that night!! (You should see bits of the signature in blue on the bottom left corner).

The pick on the top left was given to me by Mike Manning after the show was over, in exchange for a Silver Surfer keyring I wanted him to give to Joe. To this day I have no clue if Joe actually got it. Unfortunately the photo is now stuck to the frame glass, so there is no way to take it out, if the glass ever breaks I'm screwed!!
