I know you were friends with Les Paul Joe, a blessed man that has left us all with something to remind us of his great contributions to the guitar "The Les Paul". That alone has made him immortal. RIPLP

Sorry for my English please. It’s not really meter what band “stole” ideas from Joe, main thing that Joe creates this melody firstly (earlier) then others. And payment for author-rights usage is necessary thing as I guess. But as in one song was singing -”money for nothing”. You must view at this like you influence someone for new art creation. Joe you are guitar hero, guitar god if you wish, be cool! And everyone be cool! You’re guitar religion is accessible for everyone and you must proud yourself! Big thanks for your Moscow show in June 2008. I was there and you were cool!!! Bass sound was not so, but common sound picture was well! Thanks for you again!

What a sad day.. R.I.P Les Paul

I've been watching the Hendrix at Woodstock DVD for the last couple days and have been down in the dumps over that, and then wake up to this today...

Think I'll leave my guitar alone for today; my "moment of silence".

I was at work when I checked my phone and saw Dave Weiner's tweet that Les had passed. My first thought was "awww man!" and my heart sank. Glad I had lil' Chrisburito Tostito to text back and forth with about it. Hardly any of the douches I work with even know who Les Paul is :-/

It's sad he's gone, but 94 years is a great ride!

*sigh*
