Hi everyone, sorry we lost everyone and couldn't say goodbye, probably means we will see each other again!!! We left Tahoe around 11am and got in our door at 1am. Still in a bit of a whirlwind so the Mrs and I will post reviews and pictures later. Glad everyone made it home safely.

Brian - WOW GREAT PICS!!!!!! They tell more than a thousand words...first you got to see Joe come in and do his soundcheck etc, 2nd I didn't realise it was an outdoor show? Surely you guys would have been trying to get his attention did you wave and go nuts whilst he was setting up?? I'm going to look at the pics again tonight from home, just had to quickly post now to say how good they are. Also tonight will be checking out some great vids of someone who was front row. Mind you the puter at home is not well, have to get it looked at.

edit - Al: what is "infortation"?? LOL, nice site buddy, just need to check spelling.

These are just some thoughts I had after the show and during our drive home Tahoe. 1. I really enjoyed meeting the T2J'ers 2. I really really enjoyed all the CLEAVAGE from the people watching and walking through the casino's, lol 3. I've been kicking myself for not going to the backroom Five minutes earlier, I would off bumped into Joe walking down the street into the venue. I spotted him first but I guess I just couldn't believe what I was seeing, that's when I pointed him out to everyone else and Mahavishnu got the pictures he got. 4. I waited five minutes to go to bathroom and I did basically bump into Sammy and his entourage of big dudes coming out of Harvey's. And no it wasn't the Sammy lookalike. 5. Being a hardcore Satch fan, or as Do The Stu called me "the oldest T2J'er of our bunch" I've been replaying going to the "loo" earlier and getting to show Joe my "Surfin" tattooe and asking him if I could walk in with him for his soundcheck. Of course he said yes, and I got to invite my friends!!!!. Oh well back to reality. 6. I hope that we (me and Shannon) get to do this again soon.

Skippy, it just wouldn't be Al's site without his misspelled words. lol! It is a lovely site though :-)

Chee-Toes, holy fuckaroni, you peeps DID get sunburned. I had no idea the line was outside because you were talking about being inside the casino and the stores. I was thinking it was like the HOB. Aww, poor babies - the whole lot of ya! Chrispy got Chrispier!

It's funny watching the vids cause I WAS THERE! lol! I feel like I was locked in the bathroom & missed the show but heard it through the door. lmao! Aww, I bet that's what the kids feel like that show up to the 21+ shows and can't get in...cept I wasn't expecting to be there but I was :-) Tanks again fer dat!

Brian, great pics! Hope yer sunburns aren't to bad... but it looks like it hurts. Glad you guys had a great time! Who's in the group picture? See if I'm right - Debbie, T, Chris, Austin, & Freddy?? HA!! Just looking at that pic again, it looks like that hand is on Chris' butt. lol! Ahh, and T has her McKenna original by way of JJ purse on!

As for how long Mike's been Joe's tech...I don't remember ever seeing anyone else, but then again in the beginning '97, I wasn't watching for that.

bbuffalo, you do realize that yer now just as luni as Tracie driving all that way! The whole bunch - luni as they get. lol!

Joe, you REALLY have to start playing shows in Oregon!! Preferably southern Oregon! Preferably within a 20 mile radius of Klamath Falls. Please & thank you!

edit: looking at that pic again, I don't see a pocket in Tracie's shirt, so it looks like I owe her dinner. lmao!! Thank yer twins fer meh T-Bones! They done good!

OOO, and Chris is wearing one of his prezzies from AC!! lol!

Are you texting me? lmmfao!!

As God is my witness....Pennsylvania is on the cusp of 21st century high-speed train transportation technology. This is where the next government stimulus money needs to go! Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!

Michelle---Ain't it exciting to live in a state where a transportation career awaits you if you seize the educational opportunity and design a resume that shows what you've got and can give to the new 21st century bullet train industry?

cheese; lol don't feel sorry for us, like i said we know of them, don't want to know them. hard times all around, i just call it "life". we always stand in line for hours on end. Darl always has to be up front and since we aint rich standing for hours is usually the only way. scalpers always have a way to get what they want. including but not limited to having people on the inside to get stuff for them. at least Joe won't worry about getting hit in the head with flying drum sticks for a while. thanx for the vids.

great pics Mahavishnu: was anyone else on stage! lol just kidding.

cappy: you got a diamond too! no problem with the grumbling here. we all gotta do it sometime. besides you got it right, whenever you think you got it bad, look around you and i'm sure you won't feel so bad.

bluebuffalo; sounds like an awesome experience!

I would do it again next weekend, the T2J'ers lots of good vibes off of them, and the music speaks for itself. So does the free cleavage everywhere. :- )

Hi everyone,

Happy Labor Day to you all. My 10 Mile Run Saturday went all right. They put me & the other 10 mile participants together with the 10K & Half-Marathon particpants (huge crowd). Anyway, there were 60 running the 10 Mile & I finished in 3rd place overall. My time was 1 hour, 4 minutes, & 47 seconds (6:29 mile per pace). I also got a plaque for finishing 2nd in the Open Division. The guy who finished 2nd overall got the 1st place plaque for the Masters Division, which moved me up a spot in the Open Division. Next run: Fort-4-Fitness (Half-Marathon).

Thank you everyone on my job at the guitar store. I don't play, but I might someday. I get to clean & tune them, as well as let customers know more about them (acoustic or electric). It's a pretty cool job when you're a sales rep. I've already sold three guitars and a tuner, and I also get to box them up and mail them to buyers . We'll have more coming in by the end of the month.

Michelle & Tracie: I enjoyed listening your intakes at the Tahoe gig (lmao). You both should write a book together about your experiences with Joe or whatever. X-D

Skippygirl: Another good run for me & your critique still works. Thanks a million. :-)

Mahavishnu: Cool pics Brian. Do you have a favorite?

Well, gotta run. I got some Christmas shopping to do. THAT'S RIGHT!!! I'm doing mine now to get it done so I won't be in the mad/Black Friday rush. Maybe I'll listen to Joe's Silent Night/Holy Night Jam. Chat with you all later. See ya everyone.

Aaand my photos are now up on Facebook.

This about sums up the weekend, although I didn't get a picture of the girl who worked at the Hard Rock Cafe gift shop...she would not stop flirting with me while I was waiting for my burger to take back to the line. That was nice... ;-)

Peace Lily - Awesome...I'd love to catch a show at the Gorge someday.

I'm seeing DMB four times this week...twice at the Greek Theatre LA, once in Chula Vista, and once in Irvine.

That'll make 21 Dave shows, good for second place behind my 25 Joe shows. ;-)

All the ChickenHOE peeps ...Thanks for sharing the experience with the rest of us . Looks like it was a great one.

Tracy and Austin, Thanks for the vids/pictures. Chickenfoot at Tahoe looked like fun and I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I love the picture of Joe getting his teeth into his playing......a special intimacy with his guitar.....requires a strong mouth and teeth! What can't Joe do with his guitars?

Amazing concert. Wish I coulda been there.

Maybe I can get some rail transportation to all the concert venues with Michelles(?) help. Need some government stimulus money for the modern rail projects.

SIGH!!!

Sick Mother F*cker :)))

Chelle, you get lotsa extry points fer keepin me company on the drive home yesterday :) That pic definitely keeps a person....awake....happy....confused...? LOL!!!

And yes, Chrispie definitely got Chrispier....me too....sunburn hurts quite a bit today, but I'm a wimp! Yes, I was carrying the very famous "Mckenna" bag from Joanie, it's my favoritest concert bag now...and YES that was ME TEXTING U in that pic right after the show got over, LOL!!

TY fer encouraging Joe to come to Oregon, I could use a bit of a travel breakie, lol....

Cappy, loosen yer laces, there's a good man....

Peace Lily, yer welcome for the vids, I just search youtube, find em, and post em here now and again. Someone else took them. I did do a video of Bitten By The Wolf, but usually the audio part of it sucks cuz I don't know where my microphone on my camera is to cover it, so it's loud and distorted. Plus this time so many trees in front of me movin around, I could really only film Joe. So prolly won't put it up.

Freddy, glad to know you and the Mrs. made it home safe and sound...now we just need Ian to check in to know everyone made it okay.

Don, lets jump the scalpers and punch em in the throat!!! Sounds like you and Darl are people after my own heart....hours in line is the only way to go fer a GA show!! We're happy to do it but it does get hard on this old body...although....Chickenfoot in Tahoe Saturday night, if there'da been a show and a way, we'da gladly done it all again SUNDAY!! WOOOOOOOO!!!

Austin, thanks for the photos, u got some good ones too :) I'm sure you know I mean it from my heart when I call you a CONCERT WHORE!! :)))))

burly, if I may ask, where'd u hear that rumor from? If it maybe is true, I'd prolly lay bets it would be a tour outside the US in Jan/Feb...I know Joe was VERY interested in getting the guys over to Oz, so who knows?

I'm burnt, sore, tired, achy, have very little voice left...and my gawd I'd give my right nut to turn around and do it all AGAIN!!!
