First off let me say thank you sooooooooooo much Joe! Meeting you last night in Boston was AWESOME! My wife and I were very grateful that you took the time to meet us even though you had a splitting headache thanks to Chad's craziness. We saw you get hit with the stick and know that it must have hurt. we were really worried there for a bit. we also want to thank your support and production people for helping us get to see you after not being able to in New Hampshire. They could have just blown us off and said tough luck but they got us in for Boston and we will never forget it! Joe you are a true class act and we are proud to have met you! we hope your feeling better today. because the meet & greet was short and we didn't want to hog you all to ourselves we forgot to give you a DVD that we had for you. if there is an address we can send it to we will gladly send it along.

Sincerely, Don & Darlene from R.I.

yes folks the unexpected happened once again! Chad hit Joe in the back of the head with the point of his stick. even though Joe was pissed off, he said "what the f***, f*in Chad" he didn't stop playing and continued the rest of the show and even took the time to meet us backstage. i'll put together a little review and put up a few pics later today. we have a lot of catch up to do seeing as we've been to 3 shows in 5 days. plus we are celebrating our 19th anniversary today so......

all 5 shows we seen were INCREDIBLE and even though we are not going to be able to do anymore shows this year it was one hell of a ride!!!!!!! CHICKENFOOT RULES THE ROOST!!!!

Hey Michelle & Axe; looks like we weren't the only ones who had a great time, glad your shows were awesome too!

Don1963 - loved your report, what a wonderful experience for you and your wife, congrats on the anniversary too. Did you get any more pics???

Poor Joe! A knock to the scone whilst you're trying to play guitar lol...ouch. Next show he could turn around and fling something at Chad for revenge haha.

I'm sure there will be a vid of it.

Happy Hump Day all

Don1963, Happy anniversary! Glad you and wifey had a great time at the show! When I was talking to Joe after our show, I was telling him how I love to watch him play, BUT, fearing for my life I have to keep an eye on Chad too. He laughed and agreed and said he had to always keep an eye on him too. Now he goes and gets wacked on the back of his noggin. Chad is possessed I tells ya! When he gets to throwing things, it's on. lol! I think he threw a tambourine out into the audience at our show from what I remember (I'm extremely tired at the mo). I really hope it didn't take chunks out of anybody's skull. I'm pretty sure that Joe is swearing as much as I do now. LOL!

Edit: Yep He threw it!

Gman77..., thanks for the birthday wish. Guess that means I get to celebrate all over again :-)

Ally Wally, I agree with T - we want the dirt on Spain. I have a few days off coming up. We'll catch a buzz and reminisce about good times. Me & the 3 of U's.

T-Bones, get some sleep. We have some chatting to do in a night or two or three!

Skippy, happy pre-Hump Day! ;-)

Aaand I'm back! I had a grand time at the canyon (ha!)...I took a ton of pictures, but most of the ones of me aren't on my camera so it might be a while before I'm able to share them.

Thanks to michelle, axeshredderjc, cheese101, and everyone else for the review/pictures/videos/etc. I've been away for a few days but I did click on everything and check it out...
Skippygirl - Interesting list from Steve Vai...I knew he'd have a Joe song on there somewhere, but I'm surprised by his choice. I was expecting Flying In A Blue Dream, but it's neat to see he chose a song that's both relatively new and kind of obscure (not promoted as a "single").
Railton - The company I work for (which owns several newspapers) consolidated a bunch of jobs and moved them to an office far enough away from where I live to make it not worth it.

I'm optimistic about the whole situation though, and I've all but started a new part-time editing thing (I may have just mentioned that in my earlier post to you...I don't remember).

scubadaz - Thanks for sharing Steve Vai's comment on Chickenfoot. I wonder which show he saw...?
WhammyFreak - Go for something Arabic...that could be pretty cool.
BigBunny - Zuma looks like an addicting game. Two of my favorite similar games are Lucky Balls (haha) and Bubble Spinner...have you played either of those?
elpp - Hey, Yasi is pretty cool...thanks for that link! Are there any other good songs of hers that you'd recommend? Or should I just click around on YouTube?
Teezer - Welcome to the site! And you have a nice first name. ;-)

Where/how did you first hear Joe?

michelle - Any updates on your husband's co-worker? Good to hear he was wearing a helmet!
Ibanezplyr - Thanks for the update...sorry to hear you've been sick, but it sounds like you're getting better now? I hope you're able to stay healthy...
ptrocker - I just listened to EOC recently, on my drive back from the Grand Canyon. I still love it...too bad you couldn't get into it. Do you have Live In San Francisco? What do you think about the songs as they appear there?

I've asked Joe about EOC at some point in the past...I think it was during the webcast interview, but it may have only been during an aftershow. At the time he said he wasn't against playing those songs live, it was just tough to find a spot in the set where they can fit in.

I'd love to hear Joe do more EOC-type stuff, even if they end up being projects without support tours.

Listening to: Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming (current song: #34)

I'm sure most of the EOC stuff is hard to replicate live and alot of the lesser fans may not get it totally, and theres none really on the album that are encore material, but still the ones I'd like are the following in order... + You may need Eric back... is that even plausable!?

Flavour Crystal 7, Borg Sex, Power Cosmic Part II, Clouds Race Across the Sky

prob my fav from it

All of you who have good moms, be grateful because some of us have moms who are better off living on another planet. If my mom really cared about me, she would respect my wishes and stop calling me every day to check up on if I have made contact with either one of my 2 sisters. She also asks if I have heard from my dad. Ffss! My dad died more than 15 years ago! How many times do I have to tell her before she gets it?

Got the BEST news today....Chris's biopsy report came back negative, so that's two in a row now. Surgeon said with two negatives, if another lump comes his way, we prolly won't hafta have it taken out, just watched. What a huge relief!

Thank God for good news....and for family and good friends, and for Joe and his music, and for road trips and hysterically funny Bubba teeth and escalator butt dances and being able to find whatever it was that came up missing every day....and for M&M's, Cheezits and watermelon and kitties :) And a bazillion other things....some days are diamonds :)

I'm still on east coast time, wonder how I convince my body that it's back here out west and to knock it off?? LOL!

How do u do it Joe?? Oh and....LOVE YA!! :) And see ya in Lake Tahoe with Chrispy :)

Austin, WB. My husband's co-worker went to the doc today. The fracture they saw in his arm yesterday was an old fracture, so he didn't break any bones. I have no idea what that means in terms of a "healed" bone if you can still see an old fracture? Anyways, he stopped in to see the guys and say thanks to my hubs for all his help. His wrist is pretty swelled up and he's in pretty much pain. The doc gave him the rest of the week off, so that good. Dude can take it easy and come to terms about saying goodbye to his Harley :-/ Oh yeah, I took a cd to AC to give to T for you, but we gave it to Joe. lol! I have to send a book to T, so I'll send a cd along for you then. She'll give it to you at ChickenHOe.

I love EOC!

T-Bones, nothin' wrong with east coast time :-) Ya get to go to bed earlier. lol!

Okay peeps - wanna talk Satch fans?? On Sunday we said our goodbyes and we all left the hotel in AC around lunchtime. They headed off to the airport for their flights home. My hubs and I drove and got home around 4ish. I got a txt from J saying she was home around 9-9:30 p.m.. Tracie was still flying. I got up for work Monday morning and got my shower, etc... and headed off to work. As I was walking up the path to the door at my job, I got a text. Tracie had JUST gotten home!!! It was 7 in the effin morning here - and she was just getting in her house! THEN she went to work after an hour or two of sleep!!!

SATCHAHOLICS - I think we can safely say YES!

Do The Stu - welcome back buddy, glad you had a nice trip. I thought the Vai list was curious too - I can imagine so many songs he could have chosen. Was listening to Cryin' this morning on the way in to work and if anything sounds like the voice of God on the guitar I reckon that could be it.......

I happen to prefer the taste of Coke Zero over diet Coke or even regular Coke.

Diet sodas are being found to be worse for you than regular sodas. Aspertame may actually be to blame for a large portion of obesity.

I prefer coffee...me and Wolf2...lots of coffee.

ATLANTA SHOW ATTENDEES_Anyone else be standing with me and the Mrs. in line on Sunday for the General Admission seats?

I really screwed up. The section off to Joe's side was reserved and I could have gotten descent seats there. I did "click and pick" and jumped on those 4th row seats ( which had been reservered for VIP and back stage packages only hours earlier.....AHHH! BURLY!!! Anyway come by and say hi. I'll be the bald guy with the "Got Riffs" t shirt (My Chickenfoot shirt is too big for me)

Does anyone know if they will be selling the Chickenfoot hats @ the show?
