Hello everybody! I am just going out for a ride on my bike to buy some cream, so my dads girlfriend can some homemade rasberry ice-cream :D
I am also considering if I should take part in the Danish version of America's got talent, with a guitar instrumental. But what song should I play in the auditions if I will take part?
McDave: Congratulations to your three year old daughter! Wish her a happy birthday and a really good day. :D
Do The Stu: Why did you leave the newspaper job? Was it getting to boring or?
I wish you the best chances of getting a new job!
elpp: Thanks! I also hope everything will turn out great for you! :D
Skippygirl: Thanks for the link :D. Wonder why there isnt more Satch on the list
Hmm - Il better go out buying the cream now, before my dad starts singing Dancing Queen again!. Have a nice day everyone!

Hey all, I've been hanging loose, trying to come up with what kind of project I should do next.
I have so much inspiration but I don't know which on of my projects to work on. So maybe I could ask you all for some advice, what should I try next?
Egyptian, Arabic, Native American, Symphony?
I have ideas for them all, just don't know where to start. Any input would be great.
Listening to - Ghost Love Score by Nightwish (Joe and Tuomas should get together and do something damn..that would be utterly mindblowing)

elpp Big Bunny: Symphony X is the name of the band, Seven is the name of the song. My ringtone. I see you enjoy Dream Theater, so I recommend you search for Symphony X music, they are also prog-metal but leaning more to the heavier side, their most recent album "Paradise Lost" can only be described as Dream Theater meets Pantera meets Judas Priest, and it's the only album I NEVER skip any songs while listening. Really cool
elpp - will have to keep them in mind :) i'm only seeing Dream Theater cause of John Petrucci >=;) Joe brought him to OZ with G3 and it'd be good to see him live again. that's why i gotta get the new DT album otherwise i won't know any songs O_o
Joe Satriani - last time you were in Oz i asked if you could play 'Love Thing' & 'If I Could Fly'... can i add one more to that 'Raspberry Jam Delta V'. it's been my ringtone for ages and it use to be my fav. Satch song, but then Love Thing took it's place >=:) mkay thanx!!
DoTheStu Big Bunny - Some phones don't allow you to do this, but you can create a 30-second clip on your computer and then e-mail it to your phone. It's pretty easy to do a recording...Windows Sound Recorder can probably do it.
If not, if there are is a specific 30 seconds that you want, let me know and I can edit it and send it your way.
Have you heard Slick (bonus track on Joe's anthology, from the SBM sessions)? I listened to that this morning and I think the intro is what I'll go with for my phone.
Thanks for the note on U2 tickets...I'll look into it.
And you didn't ask me, but AT&T is a telephone/cell phone/internet service provider here in the US.
Austin yeah i got Slick on the Anthology cds. i'm not computer savy :/ the only thing i can do is type and play games from popcap.com.
popcap O_o i'm an addict. the sequel to ZUMA is coming!! oh my gosh... on Sept. 12 i'm gonna be spitting out those coloured balls again. Zuma players will know what i mean >=;P ZUMAs Revenge go ball spitting frog go!!
so AT&T is like vodafone. thanx for answering

Hello Joe,
Gotta tell you that I am disappointed in your decision to go with a different band. Yes I agree that If you your going to go with vocals that Sami would be the one to do it with, but I sure miss your other style. Your guitar playing is great anyway you go but you are restricted and your old great style is not being unleashed. For us older generation that really get into a three man band, tear it up, rock and roll no vocals, just good old guitar, drum, and bass, I think you have shot yourself in the foot. Really miss your old style,
Jim

Hi peeps!
Man, that was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time!
Davy & his band blew me away! It was my first time seeing him and his band ~ and WOW!!! Killer band! His drummer was wandering around halls outside the HOB, and we talked to him a bit He was a bit flustered at first and couldn't seem to find a door to let him inside the venue. lol! Next time he came by I asked him if he was lost again. He was just wandering around at that point, and had found the correct door. lol! What a great group of guys! Their own songs were great, but when they did Almost Cut My Hair - whoa!! I wasn't expecting that. I'm listening to a version of it on youtube from another show right now. I'm not going to post the link. If you've seen them already, then you know. If you haven't - wait! Fantastic opening act! 10 thumbs up! My one tip - EARPLUGS! He hits the highs and squeezes the crap out of 'em.
Chickenfoot took the stage and it was on! They were ready to rock - and they did! Chad is a force to be reckoned with on the drums. Holy Christ I love watching him play! Well...in all fairness you have to keep an eye on him cause you might get a stick, tambourine, or flying body upside yer skull trying to catch the things he's throwing! Mikey was on fiii-yaaaaah, as usual keeping the back beat and hitting those high notes. I like that he doesn't stay on his side of the stage and comes over to visit Joe's side. Same thing with Sammy. He covers the stage and gives everyone a show. Sammy sat almost directly in front of us on the edge of the stage to play Bad Motor Scooter. That was way cool! While Sammy was sitting on the stage playing BMS and everyone was watching him, I looked over at Joe standing in the shadows waiting for his time to come in and pointed to him. He saw me and waved, and I waved back :-) Aww yeah! The guys were having so much fun. We were laughing at them more then they were laughing at each other! At one point, Sammy came over to Joe and got about 3 inches from his face, and Joe pulled off this expression that was priceless. It was hilarious! Chad was having his own stick throwing championship to hit a target out in the middle of the crowd. I couldn't see who he was throwing all these sticks to, but holy shit man, they got half his stash out there in the middle! lmao! Yay for them! He was throwing them up into the balcony and everything. In between drumming and throwing, he was making gestures and faces and lemme tell you - this dude is off! lmao! So much fun to watch! I usually watch Joe and Jeff in Joe's band, and in this band I find myself doing the same thing - Joe and drummer. lol!
The after show was just....man...I haven't said I love Joe in a few hours, so I'ma say it again...I love Joe. lol! He came out the doors and walked straight to me and I think that's the first thing I said to him. lmao!! "Aww Joe, I love you!" and gave him a big hug. lol! I just freakin' love that guy! He gave hugs all around and had some laughs with us. There weren't many peeps for the after show, but they had to travel to the next show so Joe made his rounds, then we sucked him back in and hugged him up before we let him leave. He even hugged my husband. lmao!!! I love that guy!! We chatted with Mick a bit, and said hi to Mike Manning while he was breaking down Davy's set. It should be time for his daily 6 month haircut soon? lol!
We left there on cloud 999 and just laughed our way into the night.
T & J - I love u's like nobody's bidness! Thanks for traveling in for a fantastic weekend. Thanks for making me laugh until my face was wet with tears and I couldn't breathe. Thanks for the b-day prezzies (thanks AL!). Thanks for all the photo ops. Thanks for driving the big red machine. Thanks for the butt dance on the escalator (you know who you are!). Thanks for the teef - they will not go unused! Thanks for being wild and wonderful and wacky and all the things that make u's who you are!

Michelle- Thanks for the review..I can tell you are still reeling from the Euphoria.
I can't wait..1 week from tonight. This is truly a special event for me. This band has been building within me for a long time. It seemed like forever before we got to see anything from them but man when we did. I realize Joe's solo career is important to many of you and me too but this is FUN!! And hey Joe will be back to being Joe.
I looked @ my seat #s and they say row 3.. I could have sworn I clicked on the 4th row ( best 2 seats available) I think they must have just canceled the sale of the backstage tickets because these seats have been open for a long time. I'm glad I got to sit so close. This thing is nearly sold out.
We should be close to center stage just over to Joe's side a little.
I hope they allow cameras.

Railton: I don't know if it's the same over there, but it seems that if you want to advance in the show you must play something really popular. So forget obscure songs and play Summer Song or any of the ballads. Otherwise go for the toughest song u feel comfortable playing live.
WhammyFreak: Egyptian sounds interesting! Plus that Egyptian doctor screwed up Wolfie, so that's an omen!! jajaja
Slanshroom: LOL! That is spot-on dude!
I saw this at the other forum I visit, I think I'm in love again. Yasi Hofer. Guitarist.. Don't recall anyone here ever mentioning her, good chops.
