Elpp - It's a long time since I did any serious running but have you thought about your breathing. I used to find that breathing management took up a lot of concentration but with persistence I got a much improved performance. (Works for other erm exercises too!)

Many of you will know that Koreans are partial to the occasional roast dog, Chinese have been known to eat rats, but the best yet was what I saw on an Indian restaurant menu! I quote "Aborigine, cooked in a clay oven". Allegedly it is meant to be Aubergine. Talking of Aborigine's, why are there none on Tasmania? Prolly cause Ponting's such a miserable grumpy twat they've all pissed off to the mainland.

Pip55: "A Night in San Francisco" with Aldi Meola, Paco de Lucia and Vicente d' Amigo is probably one of the best live (acoustic) guitar albuns ever.

Enjoying Robin Trower's new album at the mo, it's called 'What Lies Beneath'. Very bluesy and tasteful.

Hi everyone, U2 gig at Hampden Park in Glasgow was something else, the show definately lived up to the hype. Sometimes i think artists put on spectacular shows to make up for flaws in the music, not the case here. A great mix of old and new kept the 60,000 crowd well entertained, although i'd have liked Out of Control, The Electric Co. Gloria and I Will Follow thrown into the set, but you cant have everything. If this show is coming to a place near you soon, make the best effort you can to go, you wont regret it. Won tickets to another 2 gigs on Rock Radio this week, i'm on a roll. GG2- i know things are going to start looking up for you again soon, everyone here's good thoughts are with you, and i'll say a wee prayer for your well being.

Heading out in a few minutes to meet the girls in AC. Never met Tracie before, so I hope we don't self-combust with joy. lmao!

Be good (okay, maybe not "good" per say) and don't start any fires - at least until I get back! Save me some beer too!

Austin, if you get any drunkin's tweets or texts from my phone...it wasn't me. LOL!

love you all!!

Pip - Al DiMeola, John Mclaughlin & Paco De Lucia Friday Night In San Francisco
awesomeness at it's best.

Babbling Baboon - I believe I have found a wooden twangy thing to jig up. We might even manage to get the thing to work by the time we finish with it.

Corr.... Edward Culllen! (sorry Burly).

Pip55: Elegant Gypsy is very good. Kind of THE classic DiMeola album. The Guitar Trio is also amazing (but totally acoustic, it's the follow-up to Friday Night in San Francisco

Cappy Steve: Actually I posed that question to GlitzMan some time back and he gave me his tips, I've been following them and I do notice an improvement. It's just that I spent a lot of time not running and now I'm returning to it, so it'll take me time to get everything back in order. Like yesterday the lungs felt good but the legs felt weak, whereas in the past it was the other way around. So we'll see, I'm confident that as soon as my legs get strong again I will be posting faster times.

Skippygirl: Jajaja! I was just being a smartass about the koala! So what do I win for guessing correctly?? :D

Scuba: The surveillance video is blocked by my firewall at work, so I'll have to wait to restore your beer privileges. You can have root beer in the meantime!

Woohoo...I have internet in my apartment again!

axeshredderjc - I do read direct messages, but with my internet problems I've been slow to respond. I saw what it was though, so thank you. I'll reply soon...

Peace Lily - So what'd you think of Echo? Good song, yeah?
elpp - Yes, I have all the seasons...and all of the ones starting with 6 are the limited edition head boxes. So it's a nice collection, but that's all it is until I get a ton of free time. ;-)

Personally, I think the commentary tracks on every single episode is a bit much. I hope they've gotten better over the years, but on some of the earlier box sets commentaries are almost just laugh tracks to the episodes.

I like how the X-Files did it with each set. There would be a commentary track for the most interesting episode or two from the season (though I could do with a few more), and then the special features included a documentary where the cast and crew talked about each episode for a few minutes.

That way, you get your "How'd they do that?" answer for all the cool things in the season, even in the episodes that aren't worth a whole commentary track (and you aren't stuck with boring chatter, or a narration-as-commentary track for a less interesting episode).

Pip55 - I'll add another vote for Friday Night In San Francisco.
Wooleyman - Yeah, it is awesome. What are your favorite songs on it? I haven't given EOC a proper listen in a while...I think it's time!
campbell - Thanks for the U2 comments. I think I'm going to regret not seeing them on this tour...maybe I'll try to find a ticket to their Pasadena gig after all.

...Austin...

Hello everybody. Wow, its long time since i last been here. I have started making alot of my own music. But the reason i came was to say something. I found a really really awesome comment on a Satch video on youtube. It describes Joe Satriani perfektly!

Here it is: Joe Satriani doesn't play with his head, his scales or his technical skills. He plays straight from the heart and soul. What a guy...Nobody can play like him. Nobody.

Listning to: Joe Satriani - Thinking of you

about U2 360 tickets... are you a member of U2.com? there's a section in the members area where you can advertise for a ticket from other zootopians. people who have spare tickets also post on there. i'd check that out, you may get lucky >=:)

Hello all. Thanks for the welcome. Congrats to the peeps going to AC,especially to Michelle for her big win.

Do The Stu- I listened to Echo that same day and have been back to it and several others(Ice 9- Crushing Day -Lords Of Karma- Circles-etc.) on Surfing. I also been listening to a couple from that bluesy album. The red one. I do enjoy the BLUES on occasion. I think Joe has an album for most every mood. lol

Railton- thanks for sharing that you tube comment . Thats what I think but never put it into words.

Big Bunny: Symphony X is the name of the band, Seven is the name of the song. My ringtone. I see you enjoy Dream Theater, so I recommend you search for Symphony X music, they are also prog-metal but leaning more to the heavier side, their most recent album "Paradise Lost" can only be described as Dream Theater meets Pantera meets Judas Priest, and it's the only album I NEVER skip any songs while listening. Really cool.
