scubadaz: Yeah, thanks, i found that out too. I'm just really yearning for some good old (new) Satriani stuff. Chickenfoot's great, but I just need to hear the master be the master again. And maybe bring Petrucci out on a G3 Tour with him:) I'm too young to have ever gotten to see Satch before. And I want to see Satch, not Chickenfoot, you know?

Blue_Moon--May I rest in your blue cloud? Just a dream.

Uncle Alice Cooper says if yer gonna drink a beer follow it with a glass of water....in fact follow each beer with a glass of water so you don''t get dehydrated. Listen to the Coop! He knows what he's talking about! He has been there and done that.....enough said!

For me (Lovely Luni that I am) beer, wine, vodka and all drinks with alcohol bare an invisible label: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY! Nice soaks in me bathtub!!

Yes, the saying "Seize the day" is most helpful and kicks my butt out of bed every morning along with a big kiss and hug from my Steve! Thanks for the help.....

DotheStu--Do you need a gas mask to breathe in the LA area these days with all the nasty smoke from the station fire?

Need several cubic yards of water to knock down those demon flames! Southern California how did you get to be so fire-prone? Aren't there enough weed wackers, bulldozing equipment, goats and sheep who can navigate the steep canyons? The steep-slope animal buddies could lend their feet and grazing abilities to help us limited humans.......sigh!! And start in March, April and May well before the summer heat cooks the vegetation.

Joe--I love your wig performances with Sammy Hagar and the lines that get tangled around band members. You guys have some great comic relief sketches---not unlike the Beatles......only more 21st Century. Did I see Chad on a surf board with his sticks? I thought Sammy was the surfer! I'm learning new things about Chickenfoot every day.........what will I learn next?? What's goin' on with that spicy Chili Pepper dude? He gets way too hot for his own good sometimes! Time for a huge bucket of ice water to cool him down!

Alexandre - congratulations on the birth of your daughter what a magical thing it is, your heart and its capacity to love just tripled.

Scuby -going back to your earlier post - The Burly Movie - LMAO! Good you've had some work.

I'll get in early and say have a wild time in Tahoe everyone, hope you all get to meet Joe and rock out the weekend. Although now Im sure if I get to see Chickenfoot I won't get the image of Chad's balls out of my mind lol.

minimoog :-Go ahead and order the Satchurator. You won't be disappointed.Roll back the volume on your guitar and it cleans up nice and pure.Roll the gain control back on the pedal itself you get the same deal.It is definitely the most versatile distortion pedal I've ever owned , and I've owned quite a few over the years. Enjoy,my friend.

I Had an afternoon From Hell ! Absolutely surreal..... Peace Lily needs her peace back... This may require mas alcohol and copious amounts of music to soothe the tattered soul......... or attending a Chickenfoot gig!

Alrighty then ...better now...... Do The Stu- I really like all the album even the songs I wasn't sure about at first for example - Diddle ya do dat (is that right?) and professor satchifunkilus were two that I was like HMMMM.... I dont know if I like or not . But armed with ipod and ear buds I discovered they are tasty little treats. But still not my favorites but lots going on in there. Really love Asik Vasel, its so different and a "wild ride" to listen to(and probably to play). Musterion and Overdriver favs too , to me very different from Joe's earlier work. I am not a musician, so I could be wrong .. Then there is the love song- Come on Baby starts out tender and winds up to ..... well, a very passionate song. So yeah, I enjoy the album.

axshedderjc- no not a hippy....I just love peace.

Long time fan, though first time posting for me....
JOE, you are a true artist by which no words could truly express. I've been a devoted fan since I first heard "Power Cosmic" & "The Crush of Love" on a Soundpage included in the Feb '88 Guitar Player magazine...which I still have!
My wife, 11 yr old daughter, and 6 yr old son also love to listen to your music and watch all the videos & podcasts.
The whole family made it to the Chicago Theater last year for the Prof. Satchafunkilus tour, and again this year for Chickenfoot. Absolutely amazing.... Thanks for everything you've done, and for being so good to your fans. I'm sure most of us think of you as family. Take care, and travel safe!

Peace Lily - my fave from PSATMOR is Andalusia. I could play it all day. I love the flamenco-ey intro and then Joe rips in with the louder guitar, nearly driven off the road a few times with that one...

SkippyGirl how could I forget to be raving about Andulasia ? Love that part too. ITs so exhilarating it almost gives me chest pains. I like those songs that Joe just dives into like a Jet plane taking off (melodically speaking) Good Grief.. I get as wound up as a teenager with a wild crush , talking all this Joe stuff.

Austin-Yeah, it's weird. I hate to promote any kind of hearsay regarding negative remarks about Joe, but II have read him say negative things at least twice over the years.

Maybe the interviewer asked him what he thought and just didn't print the entire interview so that the remarks would be less offensive in context. That happens fairly regularly with interviews, from what I have heard.

Maybe it is similar to what Joe went through with comments about Bumblefoot. The interviewer just misquoted Joe to make his remarks look mean spirited in that case, so who knows?

DistortedSoul- HI and welcome . I am new here too Its kinda sparse on the posts today. Something about Facebook and mafia wars. Im staying away from Facebook. My friends on Facebook are playing some farmland --give a flower thing . And they tease me about my Chickenfoot stuff. What ever! They don't even give it a listen. Closed minds, closed hearts...Their loss. LOL!

Bit behind, catching up:

McKenna: Remember there are some soccer players here, stop posting those tackles!!! kidding of course, but that is some nasty shit. I can't believe that Eduardo guy actually recovered well enough to play again, must've had very good doctors!

ZincMaster: You got 2 brownie points now :) the weddings one takes the cake!

Blackmoon: I did notice that, I thought there was a sampler somewhere, took me a while to realize it was the guitar. I really wish we had a place here where bands could attempt to play that style or type of songs without getting drowned by "play Metallica" chants. Oh well.

Alexandre: Congrats dude!!

Austin: What's that white stuff in the middle of the beef patties? Onion or white cheese?? Looks yummy and yes, artery clogging indeed!

Chickenfoot pics up on my FB..A bit blurry I know. Standing room only is a bit uncomfortable for photography. Besides I have never gotten along with that camera. My daughter has a new Sony and you can throw that thing up and it graps a picture crystal clear. I bought this Sony 4 years ago and paid over $600. I got hers for $150. Time to buy one of those for myself.

GoldenGirl2 - Actually, the air here in Long Beach is staying pretty clear. It's a nice change from all the fires in the past to have the smoke blowing inland and not over my head.

I did hear from a friend in Denver (juju808, for those who remember her) that smoke from the LA fires is visible waaay out there. That's 1,000 miles away!

Peace Lily - Ah, cool. I don't really care for Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat, but I do like Professor Satchafunkilus (although that song falls somewhere in the middle of my favorites on this album). I love Revelation, Asik Veysel, and Andalusia...

You don't have Joe's Not Of This Earth album yet, do you? Musterion from PSATMOR is reminiscent of the NOTE title track in some ways...listen here.

DistortedSoul - Welcome to the site! It's cool to hear that you're such a longtime fan...but what took you so long to find us?

And the Coldplagiarism shirt has been posted here before, but it's a good one so thanks for sharing it again. :-)

Skippygirl - I loved (argh) how when Joe would play Andalusia live he'd encourage the crowd to clap along with the backing...and instead of doing the cool syncopated thing that's on the record everyone would just clap straight through. Argh...
Ethn Hayabusa - "Maybe it is similar to what Joe went through with comments about Bumblefoot. The interviewer just misquoted Joe ..."

Or similar to what Coldplay has said about Satc...wait, no, they're just jerks. ;-)

elpp - That'd be onion. Yum...
Listening to: Aerosmith - Pump (current song: Don't Get Mad, Get Even)

I love, love, love this album.

...Austin...
