I was wondering Joe, if you would do a small gesture. My son Adam is turning 18 this Saturday, Sept. 12. You are like a god to him. I hear your music streaming through my house. Adam has played guitar for about 6-7 years and owns many and makes and repairs guitars. You and Rush are his favourite. He has been a wonderful son more then a mother could ever hope for. He has left for university and it would be such a surprise for him if you could send him a Happy Birthday via email. MaRcO7--I have been wondering the same thing. The Live in Paris DVD is supposed to be released sometime between now and the end of the year. It would be nice to know if it will be released in October, November or December.

anyone else checked out some of Steve Vai's DVD preview clips on Utube? Pretty far out. Don't watch it if you're on acid man - it will give you a bad trip for sure. I'm sure Steve is a great guy and all, but I find myself wishing he'd just play his guitar like a normal human being without all the theatrics and pomp. In other words: let's spend more time playing the bloody song, and less time trying to be all psychadellic and profound.(though I'm sure they said the same about Jimi back in the day). Additionally, in the matter of melody and songwriting, I much prefer Joe...always have. I only have to watch a Steve Vai concert to appreciate Joe's comparatively modest on-stage persona.
