I always thought Patrick Swayze was full of fire and passion, and an amazing dancer. He and his wife were together a long time in a crazy industry. If you ever saw them together, he always looked like he only had eyes for her.

RIP Patrick....safe journey home.

Hey Scuba, hang in there bro! Don't know if you've tried this but if the back problems are constant u might wanna ask your doctor about reflexology, I know I shouldn't be giving medical advice on the Interweb but I can tell you that my soon-to-be ex-wife went from recurring excrutiating back pains that laid her flat on the bed to being able to use a trampoline without pain, and all it took was some reflexology sessions (I think she took 4 in 2 months, and she goes back every year or so to get "rearranged"). Before she did this she was actually diagnosed with a bulging disk that needed surgery, hasn't needed it since!! Worth a shot methinks.

While I have u on, which one u like better, Mafia or Mobsters?

I guess by now it's obvious that Day 5 of the EP6D6P didn't go so well...damn! 3 losses in 3 straight days, and to top it off my G_F showed her nasty side by cheering on the Packers!!!! SACRILEGE!!!! She openly told me "I'm going to cheer against your team the whole year, to make watching the game with you interesting". So as u can see this relationship may be over before it even begun...jajajajaja

Cutler and the receiving core have a LOT of things to work on, and Pittsburgh next week won't make it any easier (hopefully Polamalu remains sidelined), but they showed some promise, so I'm still positive about the season. (Save this post and remind me about it next month will ya?) jajaja

Tomorrow will be the big finale with all the Independence Day festivities. Also tomorrow, $1 dollar tickets to watch Sarah Brightman perform in Juarez go on sale. This is part of a big festival that the state government puts together every year, past performers include Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo, they are selling half the stadium (the good seats) at prices between $40 and $200 dollars, and the other half will be filled with $1 seats, to make the event available to anyone that has an interest. Sweet deal, huh?

Roy- 20 bucks?...Yes I agree with you. It's all a crock of crap.. I yearn for the good ol' days of MTV. Early 80s was the best. Wish they would have a 3 or 4 hour segment of any given day replayed regularly.

How's the Pipster?

Skippy- just checkin' t see if you were still alive. No activity on FB...How 'bout a profile pic of you and the Tele.

Guitarvibes- quick with the accordian link. I liked it, such a comical instrument. I've been storing those drums for my brother in law for 20 years, I sold mine way back and bought guitar gear. I figured if I was gonna store them, I might as well be playin' 'em. I had to buy the cymbals and Gibralter rack. I've had fun with them.

CHAD SMITH'S BOMBASTIC MEATBATS' DEBUT ALBUM: "MEET THE MEATBATS!": earMUSIC Records today announced the debut CD release of Chad Smith's new solo venture Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats. Already hailed as one of the most compelling and unpredictable instrumental bands in years, their debut album, 'Meet The Meatbats', is released in the UK on Monday October 12th. Formed by Chad Smith, legendary drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and, more recently, of rock supergroup Chickenfoot, the remaining members of the Meatbats includes guitarist Jeff Kollman (Glenn Hughes), bassist Kevin Chown (Ted Nugent) and keyboardist Ed Roth (Glenn Hughes).

The new Megadeth album released today is totally f-in brilliant! Maybe their best ever, no, defenitely best ever.

I 'm very curious about the Meatbats album since it will be instrumental and prog. Joe led the way, later Vai followed, and much later after G3, Petrucci and Gilbert saw the light with instrmental solo work. Now Chad Smith. And maybe one day an instrumental Eddie VH could be interesting.
For those still searching I give some names to check: Derek Sherinian, Devils Slingshot, Steve Morse band, Carl Roa, Travis Larson Band, DC Slater, Dave Martone, Andy Timmons, Frank Gambale, Gamalon, Buckethead, Tony MacAlpine, Uzeb, Planet X, Al Di Meola, Neil Schön, Elias Viljanen, Jeff Beck, Bozzio Levin Stevens, The hideous sun demons, Troy Stetina, Michael Angelo Batio, Ty Oliver, MArco Iacobini, Richie Kotzen, Marco Sfogli, Larry Carlton, Chris Brooks, Russ Pettit, Darren Housholder, Dave Sharman, Guthrie Govan and me :-)

Listening to: mmmm.... all of the above
