CHAD SMITH'S BOMBASTIC MEATBATS' DEBUT ALBUM: "MEET THE MEATBATS!":
earMUSIC Records today announced the debut CD release of Chad Smith's new solo venture Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats. Already hailed as one of the most compelling and unpredictable instrumental bands in years, their debut album, 'Meet The Meatbats', is released in the UK on Monday October 12th.
Formed by Chad Smith, legendary drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and, more recently, of rock supergroup Chickenfoot, the remaining members of the Meatbats includes guitarist Jeff Kollman (Glenn Hughes), bassist Kevin Chown (Ted Nugent) and keyboardist Ed Roth (Glenn Hughes).

The new Megadeth album released today is totally f-in brilliant! Maybe their best ever, no, defenitely best ever.
I 'm very curious about the Meatbats album since it will be instrumental and prog. Joe led the way, later Vai followed, and much later after G3, Petrucci and Gilbert saw the light with instrmental solo work. Now Chad Smith. And maybe one day an instrumental Eddie VH could be interesting.

well....I posted a card to you Joe on 7th July to the PO Box address in San Francisco....I got it back on Saturday (2 months later) with insuficient address on it...
surely someone in the Post office knew where to find you!!!!
Sigh....help me webmaster jon kenobe you are my only hope!
er...or anyone else who has an idea....I gotta get it to him now...I took it to the Chickenfoot gig...no good...I have posted it...no good....
