Don 1963- First I must say I mostly agree with you .With exception made for the Mother Teresa's of this world . And those that willingly lay down there lives to help their fellow man, in the name of their God. I have seen that honest true light of faith coming from another human being before. Its rare , yes but it does exist albeit in the minority. Much evil has been done in the name of religion, but man has done evil for other purpose also. We're human we're fallible .. . and look at the mess the worlds in. Guess we all got work to do.

Would it be possible for you to demonstrate a low cost electrc guitar $200 to $300 price range agaiinst a $1000 to $2000 and then the real expensive $5000 to $10,000 range demo with the same song. We want to hear the quality differance . It would be sincerely appreciated..

Joe Satriani...Are you a guitar/instrument collector? Just curious is all..

Don1963....could'nt have said it better myself....thank you.

Does anyone have a Fender Telecaster replacement neck for sale? Was thinking it might be cheaper than a refret job.

Well, landed. Not much sleep on the plane so we are all toast. Mum and kids having a nap at the hotel now... So SHHHHH! I'm typing quietly.

Skippy, last email from you was ages ago, did not receive the last one.

Got a non-satch concert tonight for my daughter (teeny-bopper gig I guess), then Satch on Friday and Sunday, errrr. I mean Chickenfoot.... (But it's really Joe with a new band and vocalist)... Hehehehe

See ya!

Listening to The Zephyr Song on the bus to college this morning...and then it hit me, that's Chad right there! CF really should get more airplay on more 'mainstream' (shudder) radio...

scubadaz....no.. I bought my Tele new back in '94. Actually it was a scratch & dent special. Somehow it fell off it's hook in the store and a few paint chips got removed in the process. So I got it fairly cheap..and it's been my main guitar for 15 years. It's called a FotoFlame Telecaster. I really like the rosewood neck so I may just get the re-fret.

That was a bit long-winded..sorry 8P

Scubz, I did pick up on the Metallica reference, and I went to utube to link the song. I saw a vid of HTT from Sept. 09 with Lemmy and again confirmed how much I enjoy 80's 90's 'Tallica soooo much better. lol! I prefer this to this. Sound wise it's all gravy, but visually...dude!!?? lmao! James blew his pipes out on Garage Inc. Hasn't been the same IMO since. That was a killer record too! lol! So, I was gonna post it, then got a bit disheartened and said F it. lol!

Pip, one of the the best cats I ever had was a Manx ;-p

Don, very nice. LOL! I think I got you started. Felt good, didn't it. lol!

Slan, yer killin' meh! "plaid em up lads, tackle oot fir the girlies tae see, kilts are for the gay bonnie prince french charlies...as always...... no underwear here!"

You heard 'im - tackle oot!!! lmmfao!!!

Roo, hope ya have some earplugs. Teeny boopers can break some eardrums when they're in a Miley Cyrus frenzy. lol! yeah, have fun with that. lol!

Dazzler - Actually what I think would be great and an absolute inspiration to many would-be guitarists is Joe demonstrating just what can be achieved from a cheapshit guitar that is the best that so many underpriveldged kids could ever hope to possess.

Scubz, I really hate to say it, but they were better on the sauce. lol! My nephew gave his son the middle name Orion.

My fav Metallica, that's a tough one.... Sad But True & On Through The Never are two that come to mind. I used to drive my lil' Honda Civic (Buck) through town and use the brake pedal for the bass drum, dash for cymbals, and I'd beat the crap out of the steering wheel when I listened to OTTN. I loved that damn car. lol! Made for a good kit. lol! Never got a speeding ticket from Metallica thunder yet....yet. lol! I don't drive like that anymore. With my luck the friggin airbag would deploy with one hit to hard & break my face. lmao! Now that I think about it, I miss good ol' Metallica too.

Oh yeah, I bought the symphony mess, St Anger, & Death Magnetic. Couldn't tell you one song on DM, St Anger did it's job and REALLY pissed me off, and that symphony bullshit is just noise behind one of the greatest rock bands ever.

HEY ROO - FYI - Soleil Moon Frye is taking her kids to see Mylie tonight too. lol! Punky Bruster in da house!! lmao!

wow... massive dust storm today. Everything's orange. House is closed up but there's still a film of dust covering everything in the house. gale force winds have carried the dust from the outback to the coast, wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a new island off the coast. a couple of photo's.

Well Kayla, it may not be of much comfort, but we pretty much see the same thing everyday over here. Get caught stealing and you're free a week later to go back and steal the same house again. It's bad all around. Best wishes to your father in law.

Since Burly is not here yet, let's all send him some good vibes. I'll let him explain.

Someone here (I think it was Guitarvibes?) gave a review that was convincing enough, so I went out on Sunday and bought Megadeth's Endgame. I have only 3 words for it:

HOLY LIVING F#$K!!!

Brilliant. If you're into powerful thrash metal, buy it. Now!!!
