Joe...Just wanted to say that your music always takes me to a better place.I have been a fan since I first heard Surfing.I bought it for the cover because I am a fan of Silver Surfer.I have attended several concerts in the Cleveland Ohio area, the latest being Tourus Satchafunkilus 2008 at The House of Blues(Cleveland)Where I got An autographed poster & 1 of your pick's bounced off of my head and into my hands! Also I attended Chickenfoot at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...Great Show! I have autographed Bass Strings From Stu Hamm from Canton Ohio and every ticket stub since I saw You,Steve Vai & Eric Johnson at Cleveland Music Hall.Last but not least you are "Hand's Down" my favorite musician.

Scubadaz - ah yes, the reasonably loud amp in order to obtain the opening feedback. "It will be done, oh yes it will be done..." you haven't been gazing lovingly at a cream strat through a shop window by any chance....?

Michelle - no belly button hugging for me either. I think someone would have to be 12ft tall for that to work on me....

Do The Stu - "Since I'm quite a bit taller than you, does that mean Joe fits into MY hug nook?".... well, I guess there's only one way to find out!?

Blue Moon - how long were you gone - fortnight? You get on some wicked trips huh!

Skippygirl - shhhhh... I figured MIchelle was just using my bedroom name to try and get a rise out of me

How can you not know the Stairway rule? It's all over waynes world lol I owe you several emails which I hope to get done at work (oops!)

Cheese101 - that must be Austin you're referring too as he IS tall. I think Blue Moon should change his nick, travel whore has a certain ring to it

Thought the KISS on Letterman video might have been part of his confession in the week... far too much tongue in that kiss though : )

Austin, cool you got to see JPP! Right up front as usual too! I think yer tall enough for Joe to fit in yer hug nook, but ya gotta admit... I look better in Joe's nook than he looks in yers. lmao!!!

PipSTER, they'll be nooo getting a rise around her! Put that thing away! Now Skippy has me afraid to say Pippy cause things might happen! Oh dear, oh dear! Maybe I should call you Mr. Pip? Hopefully that'll keep things where they belong. lol!

Thanks everyone for the nice words for MA and my mom. MA's service is this morning, and my heart is already heavy. Deep breffs.

Today is also my son's 18th birthday. He is getting one present, but it's a good one! More on that later.

Hi all!

Ozzyfudd - re: The wife's, lets say, coping. We will pull through this. we refuse it to get nasty and full of hate. To many good times over the past 20 to leave on a sour note

I really hope that is the case....mine ended a year and a half ago and I felt/feel the same, things were civil and good to start with but then when ex's new girlfriend got established (it was ok to start with) his attitude got worse and worse (not speaking via email/text...abusiveness on the phone inc ringing my 78 year old mum and shouting at her for passing on information that he was going away on holiday) up to the point of calling the police because i went to the house to pick up my pool cue, 2 videos and some photos! Its all ridiculous and un-necessary but what can you do...as I said I do hope things remain good for you...any chance of reconcilliation?

Pip - the rise in the bedroom made me giggle too!!

Hugs SAtriella xx

Pip- She came home Sunday. Staying here @ our house where there are plenty to take care of her. She still has a lot of pain and she battles the blues of being so bound. We keep reinforcing that she will get better and encourage her to set a goal of next weekend to maybe take a small trip out to eat. I have just about convinced her that the pains and tingling she feels are "good" because it means her nerves are healing. She will be OK. It is just depressing for her to know that she can't bear weight on her leg until Jan. 1.

Thanks for all of your support. Enjoy the weekend, just two more days to go.

Hang in ther Ozzy.

Satriella :- Long time ,no hear! We've been missing your funnies. As for Ozzy_Fudd and his Missus, they are both closer to me than family and if it looks like it might get nasty then they both have me to answer to,and remember...I HAVE THE JIGSAW!!!!!! Seriously ,though,as heartbreaking as it is,they are both the most wonderful people I know and I'm sure they'll work things out amicably.Prayers and best wishes for them both and their kids, people.

Sorry to hear more T2J ers having troubles. It does seem that if its not one( damn) thing its another. Good advice to hang in there but sometimes you have to dig in with your claws to just hold on.

Michelle-so much on your "plate" right now. But your irrepressible sense of humor is still intact. Happy B-day to your son. My son will be 18 in January. My boy is 6ft. one and 200 pounds but he still my ' lil boy.

Cheese- good reports about your dad. So glad he is making progress.

Zen -yes! good tunes. I especially like "The Riff and The Sweat."

Skippy-LMAO! "Suburban Housewife" lol
I used to really like Kiss when I was young but for the life of me I can't remember; why? When it comes to choosing I'd rather see Chickenfoot any day(Or Joe Solo)
MInimoog- I too, would love to know( if any one knows?) about a pre-order on the Chickenfoot release.(please and thank you)
Slanshroom- Beautiful music. Touches the soul. Thank you for sharing
Do The Stu- that is a teaser......lol

Thanks for the bday wishes for my son. He's a keeper. lol!

Skippy, still have to watch yer clippy...er...vid. lol!

Burly, dad's encouraging words can sometimes be the best medicine. My best to her and yer fam,.

Don, good news is so underrated. lol! Good for you!

Slan, as for Al, dunno which pics are funnier - the half nekked pics or the drunkin' pics. I'd say 50/50 in my book. lol! I've seen variations of his white Irish ass in different drunkin stages. The guy is hilarious, but he's not to be outmooned by his mates. lol! It's the whole lot of moonshiners. LOL! I love dat guy. lol! I'll be giving my son yer wishes for sure. Thanks! Kisses back to Johnny Lee too!

Peas Lily, my boy is 5' 10 and skinny as a rail like his mum *picking myself up from the floor caused I laughed to hard* um NOT! ahem...yeah... Anyways, I call him Stick Stickly or Muscles Linguine :-) Some day he'll fill out, but right now he's a skinny rock star. lol!

Memorial service went well. We wanted to make it happy, so we all tried as hard as we could to restrain the tears. Most of us already cried our eyes out, so today was just...nice.

But now, I have to get in birthday mode *hits music*

Crank it!

Let's dance!!

Guitarvibes--Have you met any of this people who play these new instruments?

ptrocker--I liked your September posts. Very well said about alcohol and drugs.

Way behind on posts and may take awhile to catch up with all the other things I'm doing like work and keeping house among other things AND most important spending time with my Steve.

Joe and Steve Vai--I read your interviews in Guitar World from 1990 and 2007. What great brother-friends you are! I figure that's something to celebrate by listening to more Joe Satriani and Steve Vai music!!!! Yeeeesssss! Maybe some Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Steve Morse and.......J. Petrucci...Andy Timmons.....Yngwie....and Paul Gilbert..... WOW!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOG!!!

Hope it's a very happy one for him chelle...n glad you made the memorial a time of happy rememberance. BIG hugs honey.

Skippy, I think I missed yer birthday, so please forgive me, happy late birdee to you! And as fer Kiss...well um...I really couldn't take my eyes off Gene Simmons cuz he was acting so retarted, LOL!! I've seen enough episodes of The Family Jewels or whatever his reality show was called (why can't I remember that?) that he's totally lost all mystique fer me....whenever I see him I just hear his kids saying some zinger that puts him back in his place :)) And the housewife vid was fun, lol!

Burly, good news on your daughter, we've been wondering how things were going!! Speedy recovery to her, but yeah...these things take time and we get impatient!

Austin, how sure are you that's a teaser of the actual dvd? It's very fun, lol!

And now, interrupting this posting to get back to work.....
