Ah I love my life. Just back from a bestie's 40th, played alot of air guitar with a great group of gals. The entertainment was 1 guy with an Ibanez and a heap of backing tracks it was great .Mr SKippy is riding early tomorrow so we had to invoke the 6 hr rule (6 hrs sleep min before cycling) but I packed in a good 5 hrs of air guitar before we left LOL.
For Chickenfoot in Australia say "aye"!

blue; we were wondering that too and the only thing we could think of is that Sammy had trouble remembering the lyrics. when we seen them on the road test shows there was lyrics taped to the floor and Sammy would look at them and sing. too many to remember i guess.
peace; the mrs. is having the same dream!
looks like its gonna be a wild time in Cabo this year! maybe even better than the last time we went for Sammy's 60th b-day
burly; i second that! from what i'm reading the cd is gonna be free with the purchase of the new dvd.
mcdave; no snow, no snow, too soon!

Blue_Moon--Me thinks it's part of your job to scare the bejeesus out of people more than twice your age! Those grapefruit through the hole in your jeans pictures were scary! I prefer the horsie pictures, fountains, churches and inverted pyramid buildings. Also liked seeing pictures of your traveling companions. Interesting accommodations!
Joe and Steve Vai are such great friends and I love reading the articles about them in GUITARLEGENDS, a special issue of GUITAR WORLD. Also the article about Steve Morse and John Petrucci and of course, Yngwie with his great facial expressions. LOL!
A post in September of Steve Vai talking about finding one's own voice on guitar and saying don't let yerself worry made my day.

Hello Everybody!
Sydalden: Welcome to the forum. What songs do you like from Joe? I like them all. You're from the Philippines? That's cool. One of my good friends is originally from the Philippines and he is a chef at the Hilton Hotel here in Fort Wayne, as well as a Sales Rep. (coworker) at the guitar store that I also work.
Ozzy Fudd: I'm sorry to hear on what has happened to you. All the best for you man. Keep playin'/rockin' your guitar. I have a friend and a couple of cousins from my family that divorced and it was not good for us.
Skippygirl: Wearing a "SKIPPYGIRL" shirt? Hmm, I don't know, but it could happen. If I do, that I would not only put your name, but I would also put the names of Austin, Michelle, Tracie, Alan, and everyone else on there as well. LOL. I have two races coming up this month. One on the 18th (a 5-Miler), and the other on the 25th (a 10K). The marathon I might do is in November but I need to think quick if I'm going to do it or not.
Michelle: Happy Belated Birthday to your son. I hope you're doing well. That is awesome that you got to meet the parents of Dave Weiner.
Burly: Hope your daughter is doing well since that accident. Prayers to her, and to you & the family that she will be on her feet soon.
Ptrocker: Happy 35th/Belated Birthday.
Cheese101: I'm glad to hear that things are doing better for John and for you & the family. Enjoy those milkshakes. Continuing to pray for all of you.
Blue_Moon: Glad that you had a great trip. What were some of the places that you liked visiting the most?
Pip55: Great to hear from you. What have you been up to these days?
Slashroom: What's up man!?
Satriella: Great to hear from you.
Zenfish: Way to go on your songs!
GoldenGirl2: Hey There. How are you & Steve doing these days?
Eduardo De San Benito: Welcome to the site. Congrats to your home continent of South America for getting the 2016 Summer Olympics for the first time. What are some of the songs you like from Joe. I like them all.
Everyone: My job at the guitar store is going well. We have more guitars coming in this month (over 100), ranging from acoustic, electric, bass, acoustic-electric, etc. We are excited!
Well, better stop now, I got to get ready for work at my hotel job. Going to be a late night tonight. Chat with you all later.

Lorenzo001 - thanks! I'm great, had a great birthday, got 2 guitars which thankfully according to slans and dazza are all right. How's all with you?
Burly - thanks mate, hope your little girl is perking up. Can she practice guitar? (I think I recall she was having the Dave Weiner lessons?). How's the duckies? For Chickenfoot in Australia say "aye"!

Don1963: I did hear about Harrison's comments, I'm 50/50 on those kinds of protective rules, I agree that players need to be protected, but as soon as the enforcement of those rules is left to the criteria of the officials it leaves it open to abuse. If there's an all-out blitz, I find it hard to believe that the ref will pay attention to everyone around the QB and say with certainty that a player did or did not go for the knees. On another note, DA BEARS! :)

Last night I went to a baby shower for one of my friend's sisters. So this was kind of the official introduction to her family, still as friends though. I think it went well.
Things are coming along very well in that relationship, I am totally swamped at work, and the Mexican Tax authority finally accepted my refund claim, which means I'm getting about 600 usd back soon. The divorce is scheduled to be signed this Tuesday, and the Bears are doing well. With so many good things happening I am in a very happy place right now, when just 4 months ago I was a mess. Stay strong peeps, there's a milkshake waiting for each one of us down the road. I'll have mine today, not chocolate though. :) Continued best wishes to everyone here and their loved ones.
Forgot one thing: AYE!!
