congrats Keniko & mikesb!
cool siggy skippy! & cool that you have friends that think of you at times when others only think of themselves!! love that vid, thanks for the link. did anyone notice that JOE looked at his fingers when he said that he quadrupled that!! AYE!
as far as the EVH stuff. everyone entitled to thier opinion, just don't be abusive about it and others should respect it for what it is, an opinion. why bother debating? Van Halen is the past, eddie made sure of that, no one else, Chickenfoot is the future!
Zen: pretty spacey stuff on that one. i assume your doing the keyboards as well? any lyrics?

Captain Lou Albano dies at 76
I just saw this on MSN . . .
American wrestler and entertainer Captain Lou Albano, known for his outrageous declarations and unruly hair, has died. He was 76.
The pro wrestler, who was part of the 1980s World Wrestling Federation sensation Wrestlemania, was at home under hospice care in New York before his death on Wednesday morning, reports MTV.

Geez.. it happened again.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with the new Gran Turismo game for the PSP system, but I've noticed a song in there that is another "copy" of Satch's "If I Could Fly". The melody is a cheap variation of the original guitar solo, but the chord progression is THE SAME THING. I'm a big fan of Joe's music and I can't stand this sort of plagiarism. Time has come for another lawsuit, Joe! Hahahaha.
Take it easy, you guys
Paulo.

McDave - have to agree with you there... why is it for something that's supposed to be doing me good I feel like crap after (running) lol
Michelle - I think (and it was only bronchitis as opposed to bronchitis plus other stuff) it didn't take too long to get over once it was under control with the meds. I'll keep sending the good vibes...
BTW, this pippy thing is getting out of hand!.... doh, here we go again
Roo - fairy muff. I figured you'd have had them sealed before collection. Good luck with it. I find my JS's to be the most super feedbacky guitars... ever. Must try stuffing some foam around the pickups a la Mike
Cappy Steve - I'm just saying but is this "Oh yeah, all together now, imagine the Skippy one wearing just a security pass" in any way related to your morning glory?
Skippygirl - factor 30 mr Joseph, and watch out that Brett Michaels doesn't try and chat him up (he loves Cabo too). If it's a Porsche 911 (turbo) or above, I'm there. If it's a Cayenne, Coxster, etc I'm not a fan.
BTW, there will be no illegal 'hen' fights between me and Cappy to determine who's is best....
Slanshroom - only white trash? I felt sure you'd summon up the same name I hear every time someone says his surname. Rhyming is good lol
Bye for now, have a good time wherever you all are

Keniko--30 years and it must seem like yesterday when you got married. Does that sound about right? Congratulations. Marriage is a great thing. Love, bonding, sleeping together....ahhh.....it's heaven. And at times it can be heartbreaking, but it's one of life's worthwhile adventures and I highly recommend it.

scubadaz: i use a ibanez RG1570L, i think the wood on it is 5pc maple/walnut wizard neck. it's also got some dimarzio pickups.
And you know what amp i have, but I'm planning to get a JVM205C because i played it in bonners and it sounds pritty good.
Well i have a few pedals, i have a marshall regenerator and a marshall compressor (sustainer) which i don't use a lot because i think it's rubbish. i have a epiphone les paul lefty which i use for jazz and blues but i mostly use the RG1570L for rock.

Envelopes and Stamps
A woman was working in a post
Office in California . One day she licked the
envelopes and postage stamps instead of using a sponge.
That very day the lady found a cut on her tongue. A week later she noticed an abnormal swelling on her tongue.
She went to the doctor, and they found nothing wrong..
Her tongue was not sore or anything.. A couple
of days later, her tongue started to swell more, and it began
to get really sore, so sore, that she could not eat. She
went back to the hospital, and demanded something be done.
The doctor took an x-ray of her tongue and noticed a
lump. He prepared her for minor surgery. When
The doctor cut her tongue open, a live cockroach crawled out!!!!
There were cockroach eggs on the seal of the
Envelope. The egg was able to hatch inside of
her tongue, because of her saliva, which was warm and moist...
This is a true story reported on CNN!
Andy Hume wrote: Hey, I used to work in an envelope
factory. You wouldn't believe the....things that float around in
those gum applicator trays. I haven't licked
an envelope for years!'
I used to work for a print shop(32 years ago), and we
were told NEVER to lick the envelopes. I never understood
why until I had to go into storage and pull out 2500
envelopes that were already printed and saw several squads
of cockroaches roaming around inside a couple of
boxes with eggs everywhere. They eat the glue
on the envelopes.
After reading this you will never lick
Another envelope or stamp again.

Joe does what might be considered an informed explanation about feedback for FiaBD on this video taken at a Guitar Center clinic.
As for Edward, what can be said has been said by Paul Gilbert:
(liner notes to GOMY)
“My biggest guitar hero is named Edward. I have seen visions of freedom, virtuosity, and unspeakable joy that remain unmatched. I hope he can find his way to a place free of all pollution and once again show us the beauty of his music and soul."
Amen.

Skippy: you mad girl!...
"perked up"? Haven't you heard that expression?
I used to have a bfp jem, loved that guitar, I miss it..:(
I sold it to by a js3! NOT regretting the decision in the slightest!! :)
This episode of top gear was the main reason I decided on an rx8 when I was choosing between a few options. People are amazed that you can actually fit 4 adults comfortably (but not basketball players).
And.... Here's mine! :) he he he.... It's very fun!

But, all the components, AND the way you play, all come into it. Depends on the sound you're trying to get.

Roo - very nice car! Re Austin , I meant what did he say and why would he perk up. Austin being the journo I thought I would ask for more details since I wasn't there, and he wouldn't think I'm bugging him (well, I am).
When do you move house?

Skippygirl - It caught his attention because it was something different. There were a lot of normal "Can you sign this?" and "Can I get a picture with you?" questions from everyone, as you can imagine....so my request to make out an autograph to someone on his website that's half a world away stuck out and maybe snapped him out of the usual routine for a few seconds, that's all... ;-)
I did get your latest message on Twitter...I'll respond in a bit by email, so there's no character limit (and so I don't bore everyone else here)...

Don1963 : Spacey.. exactly.. as the song is directly a tribute to the John Carpenter's movie, i tried to figure something coming from space, & rising among us discreetly, imitating our forms, until it is brought to light, & then, the thing becomes very aggressive, several forms explode like a terrifying organic chaos..
In fact, Pinocchio album tries to combine two tales : Pinocchio & The Thing.
Keyboard parts are done with synthetizer guitar.
To tell the truth, The Thing is the hardest mix i ever tried to do. Keep you posted when i'll get the final song, if you want.
& about lyrics, we get some here, but nothing before 2011.
Thanx for the check.
