Hey Conch, I know alcoholism comes from having too much alcohol pass the lips and onto the tongue. Does assholism come about the same way? LMAO

thanks Guitarvibes for the Link
Joe- Kinda shocked you settled with Coldplay...though the amount on $ theyve been making probably made it easy...but i will also guess that part of the agreement was not to disclose the amount....the only amount i can see being fair is 10 million.....but a settlement is an admission of guilt in my book because i wouldnt pay anyone a nickel if i truly though it was mine. So the translated results are: Coldplay guilty of Plagiarism and Joe Satriani is guilty of writing music so appealing that everyone wants it for they very own..lol...keep em coming Joe....Thanks!!!

Hey Joe, after I watched Live 2006 a couple of times, I realized that after you played a note a held it, you blew on the strings. You did this while you where ending one of your songs. What exactly does this do? I'm curious.

No......not A. McKenna. He's off frolicking with the other 20 somethings!!!
It's Michelle that I'm attracted to. Because to me M is my favorite analgesic/tranquilizer....Morphine!!
My favorite song for this week is "Heroin" by the Velvet Underground.........ahhhh....the tranquilizer effect is my buzz!! And the song was written back in 1966 when I was only 10-years-old!

Guitarvibes: Totally agreed, i'm starvin to hear Satch in the solo world again.
By the way, I went to amazon.com to look for cd's today, and noticed that our Professor Satchafunkilus friend seems to have the number 10 bestselling album categorized with Jazz Fusion in "The Extremist." Glad to see it that things Joe did years ago are still considered amazing. Oh and by the way, "The Extremist" beat out every Bela Fleck cd and even "Heavy Weather" by Weather Report.
Chickenfoot is also the number 206 cd in total sales on amazon. Basically, Joe rules amazon.
Anyone ever listen to Jimi Hendrix Live At Woodstock and notice how much the new bassist added? Feels like his playing just made Jimi's rocky stuff much tastier.
So what if Chickenfoot got Satch a nice enough fanbase that he could go back to the solo stuff all of us (i would hope) love, and still get the recognition for his work? It wouldn't hurt my feelings to hear Satriani play a solo song or two on Letterman sometime. It's been what, 17 years since that?

MIKESB: That reminds me of "Chilliwack." I always loved that stuff. Now if My albums had not been stolen back in the day I would still have them and Cliff Richard. You may have to google that one. Peace.

Scubadaz: Definitely a good approach :) In my case, I think I got used to the ritual of removing all the strings, cleaning the neck and body and then starting placing the strings one by one. But yours is the approach I'd recommend for sure...
