Vasco - Personally I don't think one can say the only difference between the likes of heroin and alcohol is social acceptance. Having said that, I see your point. I only spotted one person who admitted to judging the gilded one and i'm not sure whether it was about drugs. I wouldn't presume to speak for Dazzler but I would think he wasn't judging, he simply doesn't want anything to do with druggies. Personally I find some religious organisations more offensive than druggies.

ptrocker Personally, I feel that GG2 posting was beyond too far ,I felt that she been going online and posting crazee stuff on talk to joe, but , however, I also feel that I think she probably going thru her "side effect" for not taking her manic depressive meds or bi-polar meds or any medication that is prescribe by her doctor..Personally I don't she should be online when she going on her manic depressive mode, If she know shes not stable enough to go online? anything she do online? it is her action and her responsibility..I can only suggest that she should use talk to joe forum and facebook very wisely , because there are alot of different public eyes opinions? it can varies too on this

Cappy Steve/Hawk, I fully agree with both of you.

I start by saying I probably shouldn't have commented on something that's not of my business.

Personally, I'm tolerant with people that need medical help to get through (legal or not) and I read GG2 posting as a subtle cry for help, not as "drug propaganda"...

I'm less tolerant with people that accept drinking to death and then are the first to criticize drug abuse...

Scuba/guitarvibes: thanks for the input. I found two Joe DVD sets. The first one was Guitar Licks presents Joe Satriani classic songs (2 DVD set) where they take you through Big Bad Moon, Cryin', Flying in a blue dream etc.

The other set is Legendary licks with Surfing With The Alien, Always With me, Always with you , etc

I grabbed another quick licks one with Danny gill where he just sort of plays a song in the style of Joe, and it comes with a Jam-along track. But it's cool because he shows a lot of Joe's tips and Tricks (Legato etc.) I downloaded these from ProAudio Torrents and would love to find the DVD covers. Anyone willing to scan their covers and email them to me?????

My addiction is to coffee. My body needs it to function. And at least one 20 oz. COKE drink a day. Used to smoke cigs-gave them up a year ago. Worst addiction I ever had.

About judging, I think I recall one of history's most famous people once saying "Judge not lest ye be judged".

HA! You guys are ripe today!

Slan, if there were 5000 dicks wavin in the breeze, that would BE the breeze! lmao! Imagine that!! No....don't. LOL!

LMMFAO!! I was looking for the speaker commercial where the blast from the speakers blow the guys drink across the table to him, and I found THIS. LOL!! Good enough!

What what!!??

I had Blaupunct speakers in my Honda back in the day. I loved 'em so much I eventually blew them out, got them fixed, then blew them out a second time. I moved on to Sony speakers which were also good, but man I loved those 'punct's!

Epitaphs - we tease my mom that we're gonna put "I'm okay, I took a Tylenol!" on hers.

Don1963, it's a drum thing :-)

Cappy, Personally I find some religious organisations more offensive than druggies. ~ I whole-heartedly agree! Can I add political organizations to that too?

Scubz, Out of control?? OUT OF CONTROL!! *swings arm and swipes everything off desk and onto the floor* Who the F is out of control!!!

lol!

Xalien, since yer a newbie, of course all you want to talk about is Joe, but a LOT of us have been here since this was all farmlands. To keep the subject strictly Joe oriented - well even Joe would get sick of that. Instead we put a little ass into it to make people smile when their having a not so nifty day. We discuss, life, death, and everything in between. That is the brilliance of this place. We laugh, cry, roll our eyes, want to punch people(c'man, it's not just me!), want to hug people, and in general make great friends. This is the house that Joe built - and we likeitlikedat!

May I be in line with the unlineable? lmao!!

Unlineable? Awesome...haha.

I'm way behind on posts...I peek at the board every day but I think I'm so far behind I may just give up and start over. We'll see.

Speaking of weed, I saw Porcupine Tree on Saturday and Gov't Mule on Sunday...there was plenty at both shows, haha.
