Also, my man has epilepsy and it's NO FUN AT ALL! Have you ever had a conversation with someone who all of a sudden stared off into space and couldn't respond to anyone because he lost consciousness even though his eyes were still open? He has no warning before it happens.....it just does. And that's only one kind of seizure....All I can do is hold is hand and give him a hug.

Hi peeps....staying awfully busy taking care of my folks...dad moved to a rehab facility to try to get stronger so he can come home. Today at the planning meeting they told him it will likely be 2-3 weeks of rehab....that discouraged him a bit, he thought it would only be a few days at most. Taking it one day at a time, but meanwhile he's worrying about mom...she's worrying about him...and we all need some sleep!!

I take him "treats" every day, whether it's a chocolate milkshake, peach smoothie or fresh fruit...gotta get some weight back on him, some strength in his muscles and the incision healed up. He's missing all the pretty fall colors :(

I was all set to fly to Vegas for the Dec 5th show, had a fantastic deal lined up waiting for air fare and hotel...went to buy a show ticket today at the pre-sale...and found out it was a bloody seated venue. Granted, I coulda gotten a seat in row 7 which isn't bad but I HATE sitting at a rock show!!! It's just unnatural!! Plus people never stay sitting anyway, u end up standing and the seat gets in the way and people from behind u end up running to the stage and blocking the view....sigh. I wanna be able to rock out and get mah groove on with the music, LOL!!

My daughter's at college and has the flu. I was wondering how long she was gonna last before she rang the alarm. Finally got the "Can dad come and get me tomorrow" text I've been hoping for. I feel so helpless not being able to take care of her. She sounds sooo sick. So now she'll come home tomorrow and hopefully NOT infect the rest of us. Also realized that it's gonna keep me away from me mum for the next few weeks or so. I'd never forgive myself if I gave her the flu as sick as she is.

It's OK, I'm a bigger Yankees fan and I know they'll destroy the Phillies. It would've been cool to see the Yankees in the World Series here in LA, but oh well. Although hey, the game isn't over yet.

If the Dodgers lose maybe I'll try to get a ticket to the Yankees-Angels game tomorrow. It's not the World Series, but it'll do. ;-)
