Got back into the running so that felt good. A good eight miles to start out.
Skippygirl: Happy Birthday to one awesome gal. I think the next time I run a race, I'm going to run it for you and all the T2Jers. By the way, "AYE! AYE! AYE!" I hope Chickenfoot comes to Australia for you, Roo, Ozzy Fudd, Fatape, and all the Aussies (sorry to those who I left out). Happy Birthday Skippygirl. All the best for you in life.
Elpp: WHAT!? I'm surprised you passed on that run.
ceprestes: Welcome to the site and congrats to your people/home country on hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Michelle: No budget in your state of Pennsylvania? That's crazy! I hope that whole thing gets fixed. By the way, congrats on your Steelers Sunday. I was watching the game and the movie, "The Hangover" at the same time. That was a funny movie. How's the family doing since MA's passing? Prayers to you.
Do The Stu: What's up dude!?
Cheese101: Continuing to pray for John Selby.
GoldenGirl2: Glad to hear you're doing better. Since you're now interested in Queensryche, thought I let you know that they will be in my area on October 30th (at Piere's, one of our best clubs here in Fort Wayne).
Well, better stop now. Early work day at the hotel tomorrow.

Glitx, the fam is holding up the best they can. They're having a memorial service on Thursday morning. I was so worried it would be Thursday night. My son will be in school during the day, but after school we'll be celebrating his 18th birthday. I sooo didn't want to have to be that upset at a memorial service instead of celebrating with my son, but that's just what I would have had to do. We could have celebrated his bday the day before or something. He's having a party on Saturday, but still, I just didn't want to spend my son's day that way. It's going to be rough enough that I have to go without my hubs. He just can't leave work this week with all the stuff they have going on. MA's gonna sit on the mantle for a while. Maybe some day they'll spread her ashes when their ready. We'll prolly have a nice gathering some day up in Tioga County where she liked to go. I'm just happy she's finally at peace, and my friends sister can start living her life again. Being a caretaker is so life altering.
Anyways...
Cheers Skippy! This Jager's for you!
Yay, Steelers! Tonight Brett Farve is playing AGAINST the Packers. That's so wrong. lol!
It's 10:15. Have you hugged a dwarf today?
I have :-)

Happy b-day Skippygirl!!
Hi GlitzMan, I feel a bit disappointed, but then my mind goes back to the party I was in, and the disappointment goes away immediately...so I probably made the right choice! One thing I do plan on doing next year is entering the Juarez 10K league, there are about 8 races from March thru October, this is my big fitness goal for 2010, so I will continue with the training I already started and work off of that. Initially I will be happy just completing one race, depending on how I do I may start getting competitive with it. We'll see.

Aerosmith's Joe Perry released another solo album today, Have Guitar, Will Travel.
I'm still on my first listen, but I have mixed feelings about it. The guitar playing is great, and just what you'd expect from Joe Perry, so I love the album for that reason (especially considering the alternative of no music during Aerosmith's downtime).
The singer, a guy from Germany named Hagen, has a GREAT voice but I think he sounds too much like Steven Tyler (mid-80s ST, minus the drugs). Part of that has to do with how the vocals are double tracked, but the vocal melodies themselves remind me of ST too.
Joe has denied it, but if any of these songs were once meant for the Aerosmith album that still isn't finished.
Listening to: Joe Perry - Have Guitar, Will Travel (current song: Scare The Cat)

Do the burgers - Austin, what makes the In and Out burger so good? For me the only half decent burger (from a chain) we can get over here is the BK double whopper with cheese and bacon. I'd rather go hungry than eat Maccy D's. Wimpey's are almost equally crap.
