I so would so u can feck off! LOL!
Sounds like a good day, all in all chelle, considering how it started....what a way to end it. Was A suitably impressed at his mother's Weiner knowledge and ability to chat up interesting strangers who turn out to be somebodies important? Cool beans baby!!!
My dad was a bit better today, yesterday was a hard one. But he kind of gave the physical and speech therapists a hard time today and didn't exactly cooperate with either of them. I scolded him and asked him how long exactly does he want to lay in that hospital bed? He just looked at me....but then about 10 minutes later said he thought he should give it a try to get out of bed...SHEESH!!! Too bad the nurse, Bob, was too busy with another patient for him to help....there's always (and better be) tomorrow for him to get all enthused again, lol!! He's also been extremely tearful, cries at the drop of a hat. Cried when he told me how his surgeon visited him today and told him how surprised he was to even see dad alive...he didn't think he'd make it at all and said so. Which shook my dad up pretty good...he's thankful to still be here too! We did lots of visiting, chatting, laughing and crying today. Tomorrow we're taking him back his wedding ring to put back on, now that most of his swelling has gone away. Then we can all have another good cry.
He has post-surgery depression and doesn't think he's improved at all, cuz for him, all he can see is he's still lying in a hospital bed and very weak. We keep telling him he wasn't AWAKE last week to see how bad he got and to BELIEVE US when we tell him he looks a thousand times better than he did just 5 days ago. He sez mebbe we're right and have a small point =|
Parents are so hard to raise sometimes!!! LOL!!
AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaand......we're rollin right on to Friday peeps....have a good one!

A few weeks ago we were talking about cell phone ringtones...I finally decided on my main ringtone, and it's not Satch.
I went with a cover of the Yardbirds' Shapes Of Things, done by the Dixie Dregs (from their 1994 Full Circle album).
You can download the clip I made here, if you want to listen to it (or even email it to your own phone to use).
I'm sure I'll use Satch as a ringtone for specific people, but I thought I'd go with something else for my main one.
Anyway...
...Austin...

Don1963 : thanx.
Peace Lily : thanx. If you especially like The Riff & the Sweat (the whole title is The Riff, the Sweat & the Beat), you'll probably like Psychosomatic Thumb, & J&Blues.
DIRTY JEANS is now downloadable.

If anyone was thinking of going to Hell but was putting it off because of the heat, they might like to think again as I believe it may be considerably cooler because I find myself agreeing with McKenna about the cash grab. No proverbials though, they are just taking the piss, period!

GG2: good to read you. I sound much better :)
ALL: Don't know about cash grabber. I know I agree with Blue Moon. It's a rock album but not an exceptional one... If JS wasn't there I probably wouldn't have paid any attention to it.
PS: Today's my birthday! 35 is the new 14...

Why is it when your wife becomes pregnant, all her female friends rub
her tummy and say “congratulations.”
But none of them rub your dick and say “well done”

michelle; very cool story. wonder if they will mention it to thier son?
elpp; lmao saw that one already but kudos for showing it! on a local news interview he did the other day he said that hell, he'd give the refs a hug and chat them up before a game if it means he'll get a few calls thrown his way lol. did you see where Rodney Harrison said he should turn in his skirt for a pair of slacks? personaly i think its a good rule that should be extended to recievers also! too many guys get smashed going airborne to catch the ball. i know its football but its not quite like the old days anymore. when you got players at 6'5" and 300 or more pounds running at full speed trying to take your head off it can be dangerous! a lot of players missing entire seasons with nasty injuries. i think they can fine tune it a little more, some of the calls are pretty stupid.
as for everyone talking about the Chickenfoot cash grab thing, not sure but why would 4 hugely succesfull guys who are already filthy rich care about a couple hundred thousand dollars? i doubt they even made that much on this whole tour! and would anyone here if they were in that position, be any different? be honest with yourself before you answer that question. maybe they're doing it because they actually like their fans! maybe because they are contractually obligated to do it. who knows, who cares? if you want it, buy it, if not don't.
happy b-day ptrocker!
zinc; lmfao my wife said "would that be the guys rubbing it" or instead "kick you in the nuts and say dumbass!"
