Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. I had two of my running (Points) races on the last two Sundays. Here are the results:

Run for Riley (5 Miler): 7th out of 258 overall & 1st in the Age Division; Time was 30 Minutes and 56 seconds.

River City Rat Race (10K): 11th out of 644 overall & 2nd in the Age Division; Time was 38 minutes and 17 seconds.

I have one more points race and the season will be all over with. I've already signed up for another local run on (Sunday) November the 8th. November the 14th, which is Veteran's Day, is the marathon run. I need to fill and mail that one out soon. I guess I'll probably do it after all.

I just got off work at the guitar store so I can finally catch up with all of you.

Joe: Hope you have some blue up here soon. Happy Belated Birthday to ZZ (thanks to Michelle).

Skippygirl: I used the NLP and it helped me out well. AYE!

Cappy Steve: Sorry for your loss. Stay strong!

MIchelle & Cheese 101: How are your families doing? I didn't know about ZZ's birthday. Thanks Michelle, and Happy Belated 18th Birthday to your son as well.

Do The Stu: Glad you had a great time seeing U2. What will be your next show or performance that you are going to see?

Elpp: Yeah man! What did happen to THE BEARS?

All the T2Jers: All of you are right. It is ridiculous. I wouldn't want to pay $750.00 just to see Chickenfoot in Las Vegas. Give us a break people! Don't they realize what is going on here is this economy/country? I can't believe it got sold out. Anyway, I'll be looking forward for that Deluxe Chickenfoot CD as well as the Live in Paris DVD

After reading all the posts, especially Forrest J's post, I had to laugh when you all mentioned, "Run Forrest Run." Believe it or not, I get called that nickname by a lot of my closest friends and coworkers because I run a lot.

Daughtry will be performing here tonight at the Memorial Coliseum. Theory of a Deadman and Cavo are the opening acts. I'm not going to see them, but my Mom is. She got a free ticket from her sister. I'm sure they'll have a great time.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be here on November 12th so I'm thinking about seeing them. I especially like their popular hits: Wizards in WInter, Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24, Christmas Canon Rock, etc.

Well, gotta go. Having an early dinner with a friend. Chat with you all later.

Zen
Comfortably Numb solo is rated in the top 5 ever, almost at whatever music magazine you look at (#1 here. I don't care much about these kind of polls, but obviously is a superb solo.

Do The Stu
Despite McKenna hates Bono, I'm happy you found a ticket. They're good performers after all.
I saw DT last saturday for my first time. I must admit I didn't know them until Petrucci performed for the G3. They are great musicians, "virtuoso" each one of them with their instruments. I had a great time.

axeshredderjc :- JS2400 has a "Fred" in the bridge and a single coil size "Air Norton" humbucker in the neck to keep the neck position sound the same as the 22 fret JS guitars.Joe has mentioned this in a little more detail in an interview somewhere.I can't remember the site so if anyone else out there can post a link, that might help.

Just woke up in time to go to bed...sweet.

mikesb, sure, sitting in a bar with a bunch of 20somethings jabberin' away, playing bad dance music, and getting their swerve on is a sure cure for a migraine. Please sir, may I have another?

Slan, I do feel better. Dunno if it was the sleep or the tiger balm, but the dagger is out of my head for now. Headache is still there, but the intensity has eased up. Thanks hon.

Glitz, this is the first day I didn't call my mom, and it's eating me up. I'll call her from work tomorrow. She's doing a little better, but has so much congestion. Her voice sounds better the past 2x I spoke to her, as in not so weak, so that's good. Thanks for asking.

10th anniversary of Scenes AND my friend's birthday? This is one helluva day then!

Scenes from a Memory was the album that brought me back to the Dream Theater fanclub, after not liking their previous release. And oddly enough, I heard Scenes for the first time while working at the same company where I met my friend. This is now too many coincidences, a sign has been given!!! lol

By the way, Meet my very lovely friend. Pic taken 3.5 hours ago.

:D
