Skippygirl- Thanx for sharing the good news about the Classic Rock Awards. I still chuckle when I think about what you said about Joe shooting out of a spaceship and launching into a song.Lol!

Axeshredder-thanks for sharing what was said by Billboard. Chickenfoot rawks!

Michelle - I am thinking about making the 60mi. round trip to the nearest town that has a Best Buy just to buy that "white album" in person..... Which would mean I would eventually have two copies when the other finally gets here. I don't think I can wait....sigh.......

Happy birthday London! Hope you have a happy day :-)

Happy birthday Vidhya! I hope you gets lots of CAKE!! lol!

Al, you can have my piece of old cake. I prefare fresh cakes. lol!

Just finished watching the dvd. Forget about the first copy of the cd - GO BUY THIS ONE! They go through every song on the cd. I still have tears in my eyes from laughing about Chad's "snushing" with his 5c's. That bit is/was online for BBTW in the 12 days vid I think, but seeing it again on a bigger screen was hilarious!

JOE The dvd is great! Lots of funny bits! Chad should know we all know Mick has super powers and could take him down with his ninja moves. lmao! Nice try though. lmao!! This vid is so funny, and the gig bits are amazing!

Man, if ya need to get happy - just watch the Chickenfoot dvd!

Hope all those who pre-ordered from Best Buy get them soon! It really sucks that you have to wait.

Peas Lily, 60 miles round trip...it might be worth it. lol! Stop and have dinner on the way and make it a 2fer. lol!

edit - it's "snushing", not snoshing - lmao!

Vasco - Ole Roo is having you on a bit, i'll explain. When you congratulated whoever it was on his wedding you mistyped and put weeding. Hence my little joke about weed. I thought I remembered you mentioning that you 'smoked' as well which was why I made the post. Never mind, have a cerveja on me.

Did someone say beer? I love beer. Way hey it's beer o'clock.

Someone congratulate me on my "weeding", please!!

PS: I thought "congratulations" was not the correct term to use on a wedding... Have patience for my English-ignorance/slowness!

PPS: Cerveja is gooooooooood!

PPPS: Zen, thanks! :)

Blue Moon- I am curious.... what exactly is Christmas Cake, If I may ask? I am wondering if its like our "Fruit cake" which is notorious for being re-gifted here in America My Aunt once sent us a fruit cake that was so soaked in alcohol (brandy rum or something) it actually gave you a wee buzz when it was consumed.

Cappy- CHEERS ! Beer o'clock here in aprox. 6.5 hrs.......

Happy Birthday Mark London.

js1200js1000: I'm doing good myself. I'm still working & running. I'll be doing my first marathon on November 14th. I am excited, but also nervous. My work is going well, I'm still working in the hotel chain, and I also picked up a second job at a guitar store at our local mall. I've been there for more than two months and I enjoy it. We are planning on getting another store out at another mall around Fort Wayne. How are you and the family doing? Maybe I should come up there and do a marathon in Canada. Vancouver hosts the 2010 Winter Olympics soon. Woo-Hoo!!! CANADA EH!

Gotta have Joe: Hope you get better Kayla.

Skippygirl: That's excellent news on Chickenfoot. Now we need them nominated for the Grammys and all the other music awards. Besides, Joe is due for one, don't you agree? AYE! AYE! AYE!

Blue_Moon: Sounds like your getting into the Holiday Spirit.

Michelle: Good for you on getting that Chickenfoot Deluxe CD/DVD. Mine has been shipped out yesterday so I'll be looking forward to receiving it. How's your Mom doing?

Speaking of family, (Cheese101) Tracie's Dad is coming home today. HOORAY!

I'll echo what michelle said...the DVD is well worth buying. A lot of cool live footage was used as well. In addition to the Soap On A Rope music video, I also found me (and my brother, and Brian/Mahavishnu) a few times during My Kinda Girl and during another song too.

And michelle, the credits tell me that the live audio from Future In The Past was taken from the Atlantic City HOB gig. So that's cool for you... :-)

The one thing that bugs me is that the majority of the live footage is from the Montreux gig, and Sammy's voice isn't as strong as it was on the rest of the tour. However, I am glad that it was left as-is and wasn't overdubbed.

Go buy it!

I am so proud of my son! I just found out he was nominated and selected for The Oregon Music Educator's Association District 6 Honor Band! The top 15% of the area's band and choir students are selected to rehearse with a guest conductor and perform together. He is really excited as it is quite an honor.. I just wish my husband was more supportive of our son's love for music, but momma's so proud she could " pop"!

VASCO - Ainda não fui ao multibanco buscar o nib para te enviar. Desculpa lá rapaz :). Entretanto envio-te o nib. O Encontro dos guitarristas foi à maneira aqui nas Caldas. Cooreu tudo fixe e a malta gostou. Estamos a tentar fazer algo em grande perto do Natal em Carnaxide mas é ainda uma ideia. A ver se conseguimos apoios e tempo para organizar tudo. Um abraço ;) !

JOE - Nice to see you, sorry the bad news! Any news about G3?

RIP Norton Buffalo - I didn`t know him but it`s always a huge lost to see our idols passed away :_(.

Later friends, Matilde is sleeping so deeply, what a beautiful face :)).

Christmas cake is a type of fruitcake served at Christmas time in the UK, Ireland, Japan, Philippines and many Commonwealth countries.

A Christmas cake may be light or dark, crumbly-moist to sticky-wet, spongy to heavy, leavened or unleavened, shaped round, square or oblong as whole cakes, fairy cakes, or petit fours, with marzipan, icing, glazing, dusting with icing sugar, or plain, etc.

A particular favourite of many is the traditional Scottish Christmas cake, the Whisky Dundee. As the name implies, the cake originated in Dundee and is made with Scotch whisky. It is a light and crumbly cake, and light on fruit and candied peel—only currants, raisins, sultanas and cherries. This Christmas cake is particularly good for people who don't like very rich and moist cakes. As with all fruitcakes, the almonds (or other nuts) can be omitted by people who don't like them or those with severe nut allergies.

Theres your Christmas cake Ms. Lily

Blue Moon - Thank you for your appetizing description of Christmas cake. It appears there may be a Christmas cake for most any taste, and it certainly is a lovely tradition. My Auntie Ester's fruit cake was a dark moist creation, heavy on the cherry's and pecans and hard alcohol . I don't believe it was aged properly...........hence the buzzz..........
