I've been a little busy today house hunting,so I've only just caught the Ronnie James Dio news. Man,I'm stunned!!! Dio!?!?!? No way!!! That just sucks mega bollocks!!!!! But Ronnie is not one to let anything get the better of him, so I'm sure he can beat this and be back out there belting out songs with that most unique vocal style we all know. HUUUUUGE paryers and positive vibes going out to RJD from this long time fan.God bless you Ronnie.

I just wanted to say thank you for picking up a guitar, when it comes to guitar you inspire me. I thank God for your awesome gift and Jesus for giving it to you. I believe Jesus is listening to you in Heaven.

mikesb: I think the way the RJD note was written makes it sound reassuring, I didn't come out of it feeling sad. Still, hopefully he can beat this.

Enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday at home...I'll have to cover some of my guys in late December, so I've now begun taking my vacation days in advance. It's a shame that the football games are not very attractive today.

Had the funniest/grossest time trying to get the turkey prepared for cooking. Me and raw meat are not friends! OMG - what a nasty job! It tasted great when it was done though ;-)

Guys, We don't celebrate thanksgiving. I think it'd be a good holiday for us to adopt. In fact, any more holidays would be excellent!!! Seriously though, I really think spending time being thankful for what you have and what you are is a very important part of everyones life.

I finally got to rewiring the tropical roo last night and finally got to play it...

AWESOME!!!!

I don't know what it is but I felt really connected to it, runs felt smoother, bends were easier, it just gave a beautiful full, deep, natural sound... Wow!

I guess it's partly that I'd finally got to play it, and it's the only more modern JS I have, and it's brand new... But I think the care carol took painting it and i've put into the whole project almost (this sounds nuts) makes the guitar like me, or want to be my friend.. It's thankful! On thanksgiving! Lol! That's what it felt like.. Guitars really do "live" and have a personality don't they?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

I did that 4-Miler earlier today & here is how it went down: Time was 24 Minutes & 45 seconds; Place: 40th overall out of about 1,000-1,050 & 7th out of about 40 in my Age Division.

Afterwards, I met with my family and my parents' friends and we went out to eat.

I'm thankful for God. Jesus, my families & friends, running, my jobs, & Joe and all of you here.

HeD133: Hello and welcome to the T2J forum. I'm sure Joe will read your post because he reads all of ours. He sometimes pops a post or two to all of us here on what is happening. Which of Joe's songs do you and your girlfriend like? As for me, I like them all.

Tomorrow is a busy day/night for me at the guitar store (because our store is in one of our local malls). I'm there around 4 A.M. and we open at 6 A.M.

Cheese101- I guess that turkey got what it had coming to it for falling on your toe. lol

Glitzy - well done and great run. No doubt the meal with your family was all the more pleasurable after a great performance like that. Please be sure to be extra specially helpful to any 40's aged women coming into the guitar shop to learn about or buy a guitar won't you? I know the guy at the store I went to was terrific and made me feel real comfortable (except when I had to play one!).

I am extremely thankful for my wonderful life, family and friends, and I'm very grateful for it every day.

roo - sounds like pure pleasure , glad you are happy. Maybe one day I can get to see this amazing collection of guitars? I promise not to touch, just look :0).How about a vid of you playing it in the meantime?
