to Joe Satriani : (responce to webmaster e-mail)
Joe, patience for your well deserved time in a Rock Band such as Chickenfoot is the least we, fans, can do for you.
There are just so many wonderful compositions from your mind, that I never get tired, myself, of listening to them or learning how to play them on the guitar. Although I´m really far from your level of playing, I´m having loads of fun learning classic hits like Friends (The Extremist album), or phrases from your improvise after Always with me, Always with You (from Satriani Live! album), or even developing a better performance of the songs from you that I already play (such as If I Could Fly from Is there Love in Space? CD).
You, certainly have given me an additional purpose of great importance and voice in my life (guitar) and there is a whole world to explore that you left for me for a lifetime. And I can only thank you, Professor Satchafunkilus. ;)
Complaining would be way to ungreatful of my part.
Your fans will be with you all the time, through hard times too. I hope that you can keep up both Chickenfoot and your solo career in the long run, for I´m sure I will be learning a lot from both art styles you´re playing (usually classified as Instrumental and New Age Rock).
My most positive energies goes with you, Joe, and everyone else from here who supports you and your artwork and who come here every now and then.

This is something I wrote for my mom a few years ago. I hope everyone has said something to your mom like this. Don't take it for granted that she knows.
M Is for the many times you stood by me, even when I made the wrong choices in my life.
O Is for the one thing I can always be sure of; my mom will always love me.
T Thank you for all the sacrifices you made in your life so that I could be happier in mine.
H Is the heartfelt love that you have shown me no matter how much I didn’t show you.
E For everything you have done for me, without your guidance I would not be who I am today.
R For the reason I write this to you. I want you to know that no matter where my life takes me, I know that I will always have the love, support and unwavering dedication to my happiness that only a mother can give. When all is said and done I know I’ll never lose your love, and it makes my world a better place thinking of you Mother.

At 5:45 last Saturday morning my mother, Katherine Satriani, passed away at home surrounded by her children and family. She was in no pain and at peace with dying. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just two weeks ago, but faced the situation with calm and grace. She was a remarkable woman, and will be missed by all who knew her... Joe

Nice to hear Joe that this wasnt a shock to you as much it has been to us. We all care much about you and clearly your Mom touched so many besides doing such an amazing Job bringing up such a remarkable family. I saw her pride in your performance at the Beacon Theater as she watched you...and thats was awesome!
May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
