you say?.. aye?..j/k means just kidding...how old r u?..funny how u ignore all my posts and when you finally comment its a backsided insult...whos the chicken?
..lol..i do like the band and alot of other things but surely getting a tattoo of anything is a kind of childish thing, i met an old man when i was young...he had some nasty, purple looking, wrinkly tattoos and gave me the advise...ill pass...wheres your tattoo..i would think one of you's have joes face tatoooed somewhere...lmao..i once thought of a guitar and a big long chord..and an amp..but again...kinda chidlike thing..as a graphic designer any piece of art can get old and tiring if you see it everyday.

"A 2006 a study done by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology found that 24% of Americans between 18 and 50 are tattooed; that's almost one in four. And the survey showed that about 36% of Americans age 18 to 29 have at least one tattoo!"
I'll be in the sandbox with the rest of the kids :-)

ive seen much worse Scuba, those are pretty cool.....many have them updated by tatt0o artists that realy can enhance or cover with a new image.
Well Michelle, those stats leave out alot...i would guess that if you asked all those tatooed people if they could remove them in 5 seconds , what percentage would say yes...my guess it would be in the high 80%....i have quite a few friends that say the same thing as Scubadaz...3 years later it was a mistake...and by your reply, you do have one...come on and show us!
if i did get one, i guess it would be a small music note...i could live with that.....temporary tattoos are very popular these days...wonder why...lol...i did a sign for this tattoo guy that was approach by a cable station to do a show...really ritzy place...big money in it these days..the idea of just the chickenfoot logo works as most will see a peace sign

After Christmas sales, I went out and got me a guitar for Christmas :D :D :D
Check it out here, the last pic on the album
Also got a guitar for my son, his first, so now it's time to teach him some good ol' metal riffs :) His pics are also in the same album above.
The other music-related gift I got was Norah Jones' new CD, will be cranking it up later. A very cool Christmas indeed!! Later.

I have to chime in on this whole tattoo thing Axe you say of all the people tattooed today 80% would regret it and have em gone in a blink if they had the chance of that 80% i'd say 100% of em didn't think about what they were doing so more fool them for being sheep and trying to fit into the crowd and yes i have tatts and proud of em. Simple word of advice go to a shit artist u get shit work shit work means huge regrets.

Happy B-day to Scubadaz......hope you have a good one ! And enjoy being 36...remember we don't get any younger as time goes by... listen to grandma Peace Lily...lol :-)
Michelle- the mention of manx cats makes me miss my cat ...his name was Stubbs but I called him Tubby Butt, I only had him for 3 years (in fact he was a Christmas gift from my daughter).....but he was the "most special" cat I ever had.. He's been missing since early summer..I wish I knew what happened to him. Something happened 'cause he loved me desperately and would not have run away :-(
GG2- I just want to say that was a very nice Christmas wish you had for Joe and all us,T2Jers. I hope you had a wonderful holiday yourself

Hey Everyone:
Hope you all had a good Christmas. I just went through four Christmas parties so far: My running group, volunteer workplace, my Marriott coworkers, & my family. There might be one more (after the New Year), on my Dad's side. I worked a double on Christmas at the Marriott, and boy was it busy. We served a lot of people and everyone was happy.
Skippygirl: Happy One-Year Anniversary on your guitar playing. I celebrated it at the Marriott party by having a Screwdriver and dancing.
McDave, Michelle, Peace Lily, Cheese101, & Everyone: Hope you all had a good Holiday.
Elpp: Cool pics on your new guitar.
Axeshredderjc: You're right. Chickenfoot rocks! As for the tattoo thing, all I can say is think before you do anything (such as that).
Blue_Moon: I haven't had a chance to listen to Them Crooked Vultures yet, but I value your opinion. I'll have to listen to their music soon.
scubadaz: Happy 36th Birthday. What a coincidence, I placed 36th overall out of about 200 last Saturday on that 50K run.
bobtheguitarman: Welcome to the site! To answer your question, I would check online such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, & Ebay. They are some of the places where I look for any music, books, etc.
Well, time to get ready for bed. I have work in the (early) morning. Talk with you all later.

Hi Joe, I've just signed up recently on ur site....firstly coz ur one hell of a guitar player and yeah u've inspired me to take up guitar seriously. Prob is that the country in which i stay-India-still does not have great music teachers....for guitar especially. Could you kinda recommend some books or interactive cd-roms(which you find are really good for learning,y know) from which i could learn? Also should i study music upto GRADE 8?
THANKS..
Pls reply,tc.
