That earth quake in Haiti is a horrible mess, wish I could do something more tangible than positive thoughts and prayers but thats all I can offer too.

Michelle -Hope the tests all show no sign of cancer. I like to hear when people beat that crap. Hopefully he is one. My pops not doing so well with his cancer issues. It has spread still waiting for test results on just how far.

Have a safe one folks........!

Good Morning Satchland......

Cappy...... Thanks for the comments. Yeah, thats exactly how we have to approach the local music scene or else you just wont play. It's all good. I'll let you know when the new band is up and running. So far we're calling it "The Midnight Mavericks" Stay Tuned..... Thanks.

Joe.... Good to see Blue again. Cindy and I got tix for the Chicago Hendrix show. I can imagine what a pleasure and a honor it is for you to be involved. Your love for Hendrix is well documented. It's gonna be another great show. We can't wait.....

Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!

Edit..... Al, I'm glad all is well with your mum. God Bless the Mac family... Peace...

Peace Lily: Prayers to your Dad as always!

McDave: Dave, it does not look good for the people of Haiti. I agree with you 100 percent on how they live. We should be blessed for what we have. I'm blessed to have God, Jesus, my family, my friends, my running, a job, etc.

I'm also blessed to have Joe and all of you T2Jers as my friends as well. Michelle, Austin, Tracie, Dave, Peace Lily, Skippygirl, Elpp, Burly, Cosmic_Ape, Fatape, Punkdude75, AxeshredderJc, Pip55, Satriella, Roo, Scubadaz, Cappy Steve, Slanshroom, Alexandrecaetano, Zinc Master, GG2, Mystical Robot, and everyone here, and you to Alan & I hope your family is doing well. You all rock!

The whole world is filled with unexpected events/things. Just finished listening to the local news and something terrible happened at a Fort Wayne Community School. There was a stabbing (that involved students) earlier this morning, which irked me big time. The victim was stabbed IDK how many times and survived, thank God. They'll have more info on it later tonight on the evening news and probably in the newspapers here. Why do these things happen? I just don't get why people (mostly kids/teens) can do such a thing. Prayers to the victim & family.

Punkdude75: Good to hear from you. I'm doing good; usually busy with my work at the hotel and guitar store. I'm still continuing my running and I already have about more than 25 races lined up this year, including the Indy-Mini. I might plan on doing the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October, if I am able to come to Chicago. How are things over there in the windy city? Hope you & the family are doing well.

Joe - I have not heard of that band before. Definitely going to check that out though. Knowing how much you put into your work, they must be good.

Do the Stu - Totally agree!! Love that Satch in Paris DVD!

Al - I'm the same way also. Sometimes I am trying to pick out every single detail out of a song that I can. Almost an obsession. Some of it for me is due to the music, some is due to reviewing headphones all the time.

Pee silly - I feel for you, my pop died from cancer a bit over 14 years ago. He'd had back trouble for a while which was eventually diagnosed as cancer of the spine. The cause of the back trouble was that one of his vertebrae had COMPLETELY disintegrated. It was only spotted when a rookie happened upon two 'specialists' poring over scans trying to find what was the problem, apparently he asked what they were looking at and they said 'you tell us'. He asked if it was a trick question and they indignantly said no, it's just that there are only 32 vertebrae when there should be 33 he said. Cue red faces and cursing at selves from said 'specialists'. Less than three months later he was gone.

cheese101 - It's pronounced like Sigur Ros. ;-) Haha...I'm sure their name gets butchered more than Satriani does.

I pronounce it like Bob Seger and roast beef. Seger Roas. That's pretty close. I don't think you're supposed to fully pronounce the "g"...there's a technical term for that type of sound/pronunciation, but I forget what it's called.

punkdude75 - I love the Mars Volta! At a minimum I know Joe likes their first album...he talked about it/them in the chat room here a lot back when it was released.

What's your favorite TMV album? The first one (De-Loused in the Comatorium) is my favorite, as I think it is for most fans. I love the Bedlam in Goliath and Amputechture, though I don't think other fans rank them that high...they'd be No. 2 and No. 3 for me.

...Austin...

michelle, peace & al..... hope things work out well for you and your families.

well just finished the retail hell of Macy's. back to looking for a real job. not sure what i'll be doing next but i'll have to find something to bring in the $$$$$.

don't mind the U.S. helping out in Haiti but i hope the Prez doesn't forget that people in this country are also hurting. our homes and businesses are still standing, they are just empty! and our country is still a mess and will be for years to come!

noticed a few posts earlier about how F'd up things are " across the board" as someone put it. things will never change until people stop letting the politicians and so called religious leaders stop looking out for themselves and how much they can get thier greedy little hands on and start to really help the ones they say they are representing. but oh well i think i'm just dreaming because it will never happen. like the song goes " The Future is the Past".

well enough of ranting, good vibes and peace to all!

Terrible news from Hiati, I hope aid can get to them quickly. I seem to recall Haiti suffered a disaster 15-20 years ago as well.

Michelle - good luck with your Dad, hope all is well.

Peace - *hug*, keep your chin up.

I've been educated on a few performers by T2Jers, ones that I may not have ever known about so I'll give Sigur Ros a go and see what they're like too.

Almost off to the beach holiday, only 2 more sleeps yiippee.

My eldest had her birthday yesterday, she's a great girl, beautiful, thoughtful and grateful for everything. We had a lovely girlie day having hair and other things done - magic.

Monterrey Trace - Thanks, it was a difficult time. Once diagnosed they said he wouldn't have long to live and would be bedridden til he died. So, my old man being who he was managed to get out of his bed. Very good Steve's dad (I wasn't a Cappy back then) they said but you won't be able to walk, so he promptly had someone get him a zimmer and took himself off to the bathroom as he didn't like the indignity of doing his 'business' in bed. They then said he would need to remain in the hospital but he managed to get them to let him go home. Eventually I had to go back to work to pay the bills but didn't want to leave when he was so ill, 'don't you worry about me son, i'll be alright' he said, so off I went and six days later he died with pneumonia (back in hospital). The whole thing triggered an empathy I never thought I had. So when I say I feel for someone who (or their family) who has difficulties, I really do.

Peas Lily, sorry to hear yer pop isn't doing so well. Best wishes to him.

Thanks for all the well wishes! My pop is doing okay. Besides some bladder issues and a new hernia. *sigh* It's nothing that has to be operated on yet, but if it becomes problematic it will. He'll get a PET scan at some point in the coming months. My poor mum wasn't feeling good. I'm not sure if it's her heart or her diabetes? I was just hoping she wouldn't hurl in my car :-/ She was looking a bit better when we stopped on the way home and got something to eat. She really wanted her recliner and a blankey. lol! I bet they're both home sleeping already.

The hubs took me dootah back to college today, so I'll have 2 days of buckwild, house to myself, concert level music...to which I'll prolly be feckin cleaning the house to both days. lol!

scubz, I just googled lipoma images. Niiiice! That had to be a real pisser carrying that around. ack!

Happy birthday Skippygirlchild! How old was she yesterday?

Let's dance!

Hey Joe, just another fan here hopefully on his way to guitar stardom as well. Just got a solo act in the upcoming school band competition with my playing, which apparently was pretty popular among the tryouts, can't wait to see what it'll be like when I actually play at the show.

I'm aimin to master the guitar, it's like a part of my very being right now. Anyways I got to start mastering my material for the show. Later! Steve

Campbell & Fatape: I'm glad you saw it. I actually posted that in the beginning of the year. Thank you for posting that again. I enjoy watching her sand art talents. Kensiya Simonova is her name and in my opinion, I think her talent is one of the best talents that I have ever seen. I even think she's better than some of the America's Got Talent Finalists.

Skippygirl: Happy Birthday to your eldest!

Put in a good 10 miles of running.
