I can't wait for this new album. It will definitely be a fine addition to his library of works.
Thank you for creating these soundscapes. Truly, I thank you, Joe.

Brilliant and the LOUDER it is the Better :) :) Ok let my whinging begin JOE HURRY back to OZ Please Please Please Evening with Tour no support act Pretty PLEASE
Sorry to keep referring to ur music like a jelly donut Joe but fair dinkum it's like biting into one of those suckers full off jam and it all oozesssssssssss out the side as ya rip in MMMMMMMMMMMM Scrum-diddle-dee-dumptious.
Premonition - Smokin tune love this song and at 1-32 thru to 1-36 minute mark Joe makes the guitar sound like its weeping beautiful .
Dream Song - The mix of wah and the nice clean tones make this tune really enjoyable :) a good one live i am thinking.
Pyrrhic Victoria - Nice tune takes a little while to build up but then find yaself really in the groove and one of those tunes that sticks in ur head and seem to find urself humming away to :) and can picture a whole lota head boppin in this tune :)
Light Years Away - Nice groove and all but not sure needed to wait till 4-50 ish mark b4 the tempo seemed to change and catch my ear think this could be a good one live :)
Solitude - Very simliar to Baroque but way, way, way to short but sure has its place on the album being b4 such a hearthwarming song like Littleworth Lane.
Littleworth Lane - This song is easily by far my Favourite so far the warmth and love this song makes ya feel is nothing short of closing ur eyes and thinking happy days ahead :) :) the tone is gorgeous.
The Golden Room - Has that Asik Vaysel feel and vibe yet seems to breath more than AV i think the tempo of the song is so reserved yet so grrrrrrrrrr in ur face melt it off with some of that sustain really good tune and right up there as a fav.
Only problem i have with this next song TSTES it's nothing musical but there is actually 3 sides to every story Joe Your side, Their side and the Truth. But i'm just being picky :).
Two Sides To Every Story - Very Jazzy Bluesy feel to this song i like the way it takes off you could see a little birdy flying around with his/her little i-pod nice warm spring day drinkin out his birdy bath then fluttering off and sitting in a tree and then up into the sky as he enjoys the day.
Wormhole Wizards - This song sounds like what a nascar driver would be listening to as he is doing 300 clicks an hr around Daytona the main riff just gets you in such a zone :)
Wind In The Trees - Really nice tune a real ITLIS vibe the keys and the acoustic guitar really transform the song to listen to the last half of the song it sounds fine enough to be in the fanciest of clubs being played as music to the rich and snobby as they sip their wine smoking cigars lol
God Is Crying - Really rockin song angry and happy sounding all in one this song stands out as a show opener in my book i found myself asking why this wasn't track 1 but after listening to the album over a few times i think this is a great end track really kinda just says there take that bet ya didn't think that was coming.
Overall the Album is Brilliant Joe a job well done indeed.

FYI- The new album (bonus tracks included) are available on Napster now.
Heartbeats almost feels like a modern day AWMAWY...
Longing is a pretty good tune; the better of the two IMO. Neither one of them are what I'd call a "Black Swan" in terms of the 11 tracks on the album, so it is fitting that they are bonus tracks I suppose, but I am by no means saying that they aren't awesome pieces of music!
They are definitely Joe, they are definitely good, and they are definitely worth the money! So, if you can't wait til' tomorrow morning, head on over to Napster and spend $1.29 for each song. (You don't have to buy the entire album like you did with PSATMOR.)
*EDIT- GRRHHH! You'd think for $1.29 each, they could at least give you a 320k mp3 rather than a 256. I mean right now I have crappy speakers, but on the way home, and especially when I get there, file format will be of great importance when I am listening!
What software do you guys use to rip music off of CD's and what file format do you save it as? I've used Windows Media Player for as long as I've known how to use a computer, and the options for ripping music are kind of slim, so I do 320k mp3... Anyway, just thought I'd see what the community thought.

Hey Joe! I'm really excited to see you for the 4th time in Belgium on 30 of october.
Here come a few song I'd like you to play on this wonderful night: memories, rubian, crushing day, circles, echo, the forgotten, big bad moon, I believe, cryn, the extremist, why, thinking of you, time machine, baroque, down down down, Morrocan sunset, love thing, light of heaven, secret prayer, time, until we say goodbye, clouds race across the sky, slow and easy, what breaks a heart, you saved my life, slick, mountain song, hill groove, is there love in space, the souls of distorsion, searching, tumble, dogg with crown and earing, one robot's dream, made of tears, a cool new way, revelation and come on baby!
Ouf! It's a lot but if you play one of that, I would be happier than ever (one robot's dream and searchning for example!?)!
Well, I'm going to hear the new record, waiting for the show.
Best regards,
David,
belgian fan

In the Dutch part of the iTunes store the song sequence is different from the album. Someone was asleep?
And in the UK iTunes store it's different again (when sorted by track number)
I was searching for a download of the bonus tracks (but not yet there?)
Anybody got a bloody Napster account? Most countries outside the US don't have Napster available. Please share your bonustracks.

Just finished the album by getting both Heartbeats and Longing. Awesome songs, and very well done. I really like Longing which is beautifully done, and it's very emotional as well. I like the organ in the beginning and end of the song. I also like how it only three chords through the whole song. Goes to show that you don't need tons of chords to create a great song. Hope you do this one live Joe

Hello Joe, I'm Daniele from Rome, I'm 38 years old. I have all your records, I've seen many times in Italy, in Rome, Pistoia .... Today I bought your fantastic new album "Black Swans and Wizards Wormhole"!!!
Last year I was in a coma for 5 months, my wife put the headphones with your music during the coma. It just woke up I immediately took pleasure in listening to it again. Before I played the guitar as an amateur, now I can not for the problems I have in hand and right arm.
See you November 14th at your concert in Rome. Hello, Daniele

Hey Joe just wondering did you put some U2ish influence in the new album? Cause I noticed that In the beginning of both Wind in the Trees and Heartbeats it sort of has that U2ish sound to it.

THE ALBUM IS CURRENTLY ROCKING MY LITTLE SOCKS OFF.
'God Is Crying' is INCREDIBLE. I was expecting something really sad and solemn.. but instead I was hit in the face with this most jamworthy and mindblowing song of AWESOMENESS.
Ahem..
In other words, Joe, this CD be some damn fine work. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into it :) I cannot wait to see you on the 19th in London!

I love the new album! :-) I'll post a proper long-ish review sometime later in the week, after I'm back from Napa. The variety here is really cool...I think I've said this before, but each song sounds like it could be on its own album.
From favorite to slightly less favorite (the ones at the bottom aren't bad, just slightly less good):
- Wormhole Wizards
- Wind In The Trees, God Is Crying
- Dream Song
- Solitude, Heartbeats, Longing
- Premonition, Pyrrhic Victoria, The Golden Room
- Light Years Away
- Littleworth Lane, Two Sides To Every Story
I know a lot of people here like LL and TSTES the best, but they aren't really clicking with me yet. They're probably the most personal to Joe so I'll keep listening...I bet they grow on me. I really do like how Joe is trying something different with those songs, though...and I'd rather have "different" songs like these that aren't top favorites instead of more typical Satch stuff that I really like. Variety is awesome.
Also, I wanted to take a minute to tell everyone that a lot of John Lennon's solo catalog was remastered and reissued today. Most of the albums were done by the same people who worked on the Beatles stuff last year, so I'm sure they sound great. I bought the big JL box set, but I haven't listened yet. More info is here:
