Hi everyone, just to express how amazed i feel about this new album "BS&WW", I hadn't heard from Satch such a powerful, versatile & emotive album maybe since Crystal Planet album
Don't get me wrong folks, all of the albums are exceptional, but this last one definitely has an special feeling for me and I imagine for many other fans that are really close to Satch's music
I hope soon we will be able to enjoy a Master Piece from Joe of acoustic records, don't ask me why but since I saw Joe playing the acoustic guitar on the "Satch Tapes", since then I haven't stopped thinking about how would it be an Album from Joe adding a lot of acoustic guitar and of course combining with the electric stuff if possible[b/]
Greetings and see you on January 2011 at Mexico City[b/]

The Birmingham gig was amazing, everything was the same as manchester except from he swapped surfing for summer song in the encore.
He was struggling with feedback on the mic when he was singing BBM but it still rocked!

Thanx for the feedback peeps.
Donkey, I guess Flashy's link touched on what you meant but would you care to elaborate?
I think that the choice between acoustic and electric is for the moment dictated by economics, can't afford to buy a new (even new to me) git so it's off to rummage in the garage I go. One never knows what Santa might bring though!
Chunky monkey - Nice bar but a little overstocked with soft drinks methinks!

Grampy - same thought process as me. So I bought a 2nd hand Fender acoustic for $150 on ebay and it's been just fine. Then I got two no-name 2nd hand electrics which are just fine to learn and noodle on.
When I can rip out Ten Words, Surfing and all the other Satch tunes to huge audiences with awesome acclaim I'll get a good guitar.
Heads up Frenchies it's your turn!!!!! Pics and videos please don't forget Skiparoo....

@oxley11, He's playing the same pitches after tuning down the guitar a half step. So, if he plays a blues in C for example, it sounds like a blues in B, you know what I'm sayin'? More specifically, he plays a G# minor riff, but it sounds like G minor (a very common guitar key), a different G minor I might add.

Hi Joe,many thanks for the meet and greet at Bristol on 18th Oct.I was the man with the shaven head, leather coat/jacket,Oakley glasses. Please thank Lindsey for arranging my trip to watch the encore from the side of the stage.(I have some problems with my short term memory, due to a serious R.T.A.) I will never forget the fantastic experience and will look forward to seeing you next time you tour the U.K.(By the way i love the new album,it's in my opinion your best so far.)).You really are a top man.Kind regards,Stephen Ambrose.

I haven't come back down to earth yet! My review from B'ham last night.......
Well – I have this concert in my head, and I shall never forget it! It was so awesome to be in the front stalls, and I had a fantastic clear view of the stage. The best thing for me was Crystal Planet, with lots of light panning round – so it was just Joe, lights and me ;-). I was in heaven. I even enjoyed War this time, (not my fave, & I was in London on Tues) –but it was fantastic!
As I was pretty close to you when you played Littleworth Lane, I could really see the emotion in you – WOW.
Wind in the Trees, Wormhole Wizards, Light Years Away – have so much emotion and depth in them anyway, but to hear live – that is something else!
I have always loved every one of your shows, but well – what can I say? You are just a Genius Joe! Please say thanks to Allen, Galen, Jem and Jeff for helping to make it happen for us too.
You make me so very happy – don’t stop writing or touring – ever!
PS: Just picked up copy of Guitar & Bass (December issue) coool interview - thanks Joe
Hey Pip - fantastic to meet you & parents last night - how cool that you were in the seat in front of me! You have mail BTW
PS - Pics to follow soon!
EDIT: Rhythmsteady What was you question that Joe answered? So pleased that I posted that link now ;-)
Cheese - am off to look at your pics now!---

Good morning satchville...after a little stressing for nothing , I scored 3rd row, center section tickets for Snoqualmie! I paid $107.50 per ticket , dunno what the $137.50 tickets were about unless they were for rows 1 & 2. Club tickets were more so it remains a mystery to me.
So Portland may be the only show I am not close to stage , It will depend on how early I want to go stand in line..Ugh
