Thanks to all our fans in the UK and Ireland for making the first week of the tour so amazing for us. Big thanks to Jem Godfrey for filling in for Mike Keneally on keys for the two shows. M.K. was in Amsterdam playing solo piano for the Steve Vai orchestral shows and couldn't make Glasgow and Birmingham. Jem is now officially a Wormhole Wizard for life! ... We just saw Robert Plant in Paris tonight, he and his band were fantastic. Lots of fun backstage and good vibes all around.... too much champagne, maybe... Joe

All thanks go to you Joe! Amazing new album and an amazing touring band! Keneally ripped it up but real good at the Vai festival, there's lots of wee uToob snippets of it up already.
See you in Montreal!
smooches,

Hi Everyone.
Joe: Thanks for the blue Joe. Glad everything is going well and glad you had fun seeing Robert Plant.
Heads up on the 10K Race I did earlier today. My time was 40 minutes and 3 seconds. Not one of my fastest/best times, but I'll take it. I struggled because I had a sideache throughout the entire race so I had to fight it while running. I was 3rd in my Age Division and 19th out of 626 overall.
Thank you everyone for the condolences on my Grandma. We have viewing on Monday evening and the funeral on Tuesday morning/midday. It's gonna be busy for the next two days for me with work Monday morning and Tuesday evening. At least I'll have another day off soon.
Thank you again everyone and chat with you all soon again.
Grant

Only just getting round to posting now and saying that the gig in London on the 19th was incredible and very inspiring for me as a guitar player - I was smiling almost non-stop throughout the whole thing... even when I started to cry during Littleworth Lane... and i'm a 17 year old teenage boy. That's how awesome Joe was/is - he is the man. I can't wait to see him again, and I really hope that I will be able to meet him someday, and shake his hand.
Big love goes out to Joe and the band. Keep on rockin'.

Joe, From the pictures and vids from Blue_Moon and Skippy Girl, you look like you're having the time of your life! The gig in Ireland looked like lots of fun. How awesome to spread this great music all over Europe (for the next couple of months anyway)!

Hi Joe - good to see some blue. Thank you for your time this week! The shows were amazing. It's anwesome band line up as usual, great set list and the performances are killler
I'm going to have to come and see some more!
Quote for you (from a friend of the family who came to see you for the first time - she's been saying for the last two years how much she'd love to go)....
"I'm really sorry to say this but God he's SO Sexy. I can't take my eyes off him.... wow"
This was after 30 seconds of the lights going up for Ice Nine. She pretty much didn't say another word for two and a half hours. LMAO, nice work Joe

Just found a video called searching where you were playing a seven string JS model. I would love to see you do more with a seven string tuned down a whole step to A. I think you would absolutely blow everyones minds and outsell any previous album you have made in the past if you went to work on a new hard rock 7 string guitar album !!! You are the master and you need to show that you can play the new hard rock type stuff.
Then you should do a G3 tour with these hardcore 7 and 8 String guitar players even get Santana and Mick "7" Thompson from slipknot to play for the G3 tour. Please bring the show to the Hardrock Cafe in Tampa, FL due to open by December 2010 - January 2011 I am a hardcore Satriani and 7 string fanatic and would absolutely love to get me one of these guitars if available
I would give my right leg to own one of these. Its SOOO TOTALLY ME I NEED ONE of these guitars !!!! I own the JSX half stack and play my 7 string esp tuned down a whole step to A through the JSX and the sound is just phenomenal you need to check it out !!!!!!!!!!! Please RSVP me your thoughts to my message !! Thank you for your time...

In the Guitar World video Joe shares a lot of knowledge and wisdom. If you play guitar make sure you get it.
Mike Keneally was in Groningen (the far north of The Netherlands) at the Steve Vai festival. Radio recording of Vai's new compositions for guitar and orchestra were made. I'll let you know if and when there's an online broadcast.
