Tracie, you're right, Cosby is a gem! At 73, he has so much history, and so many amazing stories to tell. I've never seen him live, but I would love to. It sounds like your fam had a blast! Yer lil' mum is a pistol! lmao! Bet she talked about that "touch" for weeks! lol! Looks like Joe had a blast too! To bad it wasn't on tonight when I could have stayed up to watch it.
JOE did you take ZZ and/or Rubina to the show, and if so, did they have a chance to meet Mr. Cosby? He's such a treasure...

So I'm watching some Joe on YouTube and my two daughters walk in.......They are 7yrs and 4yrs and immediatly recognize Joe. I said "Guess what girls....Mom and Dad are going to see Joe in Detroit in a couple of weeks" and my 4yr old says "But Dad that's not fair! I want to go see Joe too!" Wow what an impact Joe's music can even have on children....how sweet it is! Thanks Joe!!

Just checking in for the first time in a long time. There are so many different people here now - great. Good to see quite a few I recognize - Hi Michelle, Kayla, DCK, Alan.
Heading to see Joe tomorrow in ATL. Just bought a ticket actually. I wasn't sure I'd make it since I was talking some guitars (one from James Byrd) to Barcelona for Slanshroom (I'm not even sure he is still a regular here).
I need to check in more often. I used to enjoy the community so much.
Ronnie

Joe
I saw you last night at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno yesterday at the taping.I was sitting across from you on the band's side in the audience, and called out to you hope you saw me out there.
I loved the part when Bill Cosby jammed with the band and he solo'd on those keyboards. He was great.lol
You rocked with your new music that you played on the show with the band !
See you @ the Orpheum show next year...

Al, it's 17c here now, but it's been raining hard overnight & all morning. Finally slowed down a bit, but the wind is fierce. Every once in a while I hear a gust hit and the house whisper "oh shit" and I cringe a bit. lol! Great day to have all the recycling out. Fecking barrels tipped over and cans, bottles, plastics everywhere. My barrel is still standing, but across the street wasn't so lucky. She's home, so if she would look out her window she'd see what a mess she has now. Looks like a ceiling tile or piece of drywall in the street too. Somebody didn't batten down the hatches! lol! My empty trash can is on the opposite side of the yard from where it usually is, but it's in the back yard, not out front in the street where the rest of the mess is. Anyways, it'll be back to 3c tomorrow, so I'll be freezing my tush off like the rest of ya's.

Cool..sounds very interesting...im sure Mike can appreciate Joes amazing musical knowledge more than most. I was playing ghosts with some new musicians and they were amazed at the timing changes in it, it almost got them excited (bass n drums)...as an ear player i miss out on those cool things often....looking forward to the read..thanks Peace
