hey Joe,new to this site ,but i love it...im a authorized fender repairman in K.C.(deal with lots of guitars} allso collect vintage strats etc. but i have allways played your J.S. models since the 80's ....i recently grabbed up another J.S.{used} get em whenever i can,and have a great collection of those allso. when i got this one on my bench i couldnt keep it in tune to save my life(worked with floyds for 20+ years) replaced the studs, made sure the trem blades were good, replaced the squash blocks at the nut, after days and hours trouble shooting i realized that the rear trem cavity route was totally out of allingment with the upper route,a total shocker, never seen that one before...thus the reason the previous owner probably sold it, the trem spring on the low E was rubbing the pocket, causing it to bind, dont know if the CNC was out of tolerace or perhaps the body wasnt set quite right in the machine.i did re route the cavity and all is good now...not bitchin at all,..( well a little i guess)just a heads up(i should probably send this to ibanez not you) you should know though, it has your name on it... i have worked for gibson guitars in the past, and i know Q.C. cant catch everything !! i love these J.S. models.thankyou for letting the rest of us enjoy them allso, will continue to shred them to peices !!
friend and fan,

Any more thoughts on whether it's his pearly or not? I know i'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but i would hate to see an opportunity for him to get it back missed.

Peace, that guy is such a jackass!
Let the back-tracking-flip-flpooing begin!
They say what they mean, then turn around and say they didn't say what they said, then the next week say what they said the way they meant it with a twist of bullshit and a slice of lemon.
Anybody see Anderson Cooper 360 the other night? Pro-Choice Romney never existed to the new Pro-Life governor Romney. Nope, it never happened...but there's always video. Here are the transcripts from that show. Video speaks the truth that Romnesia has taken away...
When he starts with the line "As governor" he choked and fumbled and got red in the face, and then he did his bullshit dance.
From Anderson Cooper 360 -
ROMNEY: I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a U.S. Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support it. And I sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice.
(END VIDEO CLIP) COOPER: Well, 1994, in his losing race against Ted Kennedy. In 2002, while running for governor, he also ran as strongly pro-choice. And then years later, he talked about his pro-life record while in office.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ROMNEY: I have consistently been pro-life. Every piece of legislation that dealt with life...
QUESTION: Even though you were effectively pro-choice?
ROMNEY: As governor, on the decisions I have made as governor on all the bills that came to my desk were -- I came down on the side of life.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
COOPER: That was during the Republican primary back in 2007.
This time around, during primaries, Mr. Romney boasted he was a severely conservative governor and continued to tout his anti-abortion credentials. But then once nominated, he began sounding a little more moderate. Here he is less than two weeks ago.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
QUESTION: Do you intend to pursue any legislation specifically regarding abortion?
ROMNEY: There is no legislation with regards to abortion that I am familiar with that would become part of my agenda.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
COOPER: A spokesperson immediately contradicted that. A day later, here is what he said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ROMNEY: I think I have said time and again I am a pro-life candidate. And I will be a pro-life president. The actions I will take immediately are to remove funding for Planned Parenthood. It will not be part of my budget.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
COOPER: So was he just misspeaking the day before? You can decide for yourself. A lot of ground to cover.
He got a bad case of Romnesia! lmao!! DERP!
.
Al, as usual, I like your way of thinking.

There is a situation with a young women I am related to by marriage. She is 20 weeks pregnant and has been drinking and doing hard drugs ( meth- coke - god knows what else).
She was talked out of getting an abortion by some relatives....although the father of her unborn gave her the money to have an abortion but she spent it on drugs.
Already had one child taken from her. Still not clean..what chance does this unborn have in life?
Makes me sick.
She probably does not even have the decency to give this child up for adoption to a loving parent or parents.
Whats my point ?.....
don't really have one
needed to vent about this wretched women. ( she is not a child she is in her mid 20's)

I'm just wondering...with this clause of only allowing abortion in the case of rape or incest. Of course, they have to decide what kind of rape it is, date rape, stranger rape, uncle Charlie rape, etc. Then they have to prove that it was actually rape, in which the woman/girl is victimized all over again. Then it has to run through all the red tape, medical findings, criminal findings etc. This doesn't happen overnight, and in most cases drags on for weeks, months, or even years. In the meantime, the victim is being dragged through the mud, emotionally tortured to relive her abuse over and over again, and the baby is getting bigger and bigger.
If this was your wife, daughter, or sister, or mother - would you feel any different?

This is nothing to do with anything about T2J, I thought I would share a song from one of my daughter's friends who formed an indie/pop band and released an EP. They are all about 15 -16 years old.
The Darjeelings
The violin is only the first 25 seconds, stick with it :)
Happy weekend.

that is not an optimal situation. we might need another 4 years to figure this one out.

Hey, anyone here from COSTA RICA? I`m moving there with my wife next year (we`ll be down in March for a week and a half to take a loo around and hopefully meet some people) and I am wondering how the music scene is, and whether or not I would have a chance to teach guitar down there. I`ve got a style somewhere between Satriani, Jeff Beck, and Steve Vai. Graduated from GIT several years ago and have toured the US in different bands. We`re not moving to CR to take our American lifestlye with us, but rather to live the way that country begs to be lived in. I`d be thrilled to be able to make a living doing what I love...THANKS!

Here's a spooky one, i've just flown out to Singapore with work and on arrival got two messages, one from my uncle in New Zealand wanting family contact numbers as he'd finally got round to wanting to actually speak to people (as opposed to emails and letters) and one from my wife saying my other uncle on that side of the family has just passed. That's one phone call saved I guess. :-(

Joe, caught in the act...
Nice interview with Joe before the recent Marshall show...lots of gear talk and a sweet lil jam at the beginning :)
Dumpster diving Joe? LOL! Gotta love it!
Off to the hospital for the daily treks....I go a couple times a day and spend a few hours with my dad however I can. Not much improvement yet, still so out of it. But we still have some small hope...it's just hard to hold onto sometimes. If he comes out of this at all, we don't know if he'll still be "there" or not. I'd take his place in a heartbeat if I could. My mom is managing with my help but sad and lonely, and Chris still needs attention. So my time gets very divided. Even more so next week going back to work.
My folks celebrated their 68th anniversary in September...so grateful we all had that time together.
