Joe: Hope you get better soon. Drink plenty of fluids and I hope your vegan diets will make you better soon.
Michelle: I missed that Oprah event, but I did see some bits/clips of it on other news & entertainment shows. I did see the one where Ellen was on, as well as the family that was talking about their family murder. The inmate was being executed the following day, so I guess he's already passed on. I also saw the CMA's last night. Glad to see Taylor Swift win Entertainer of the Year. She deserved it!
Skippygirl: Just curious, you listen to, "Ten Words" by Joe a lot. Is that your favorite Joe song? Two more days until the big run. I ran 13 miles (easy) yesterday. I'm really nervous. Hope you're enjoying your trip.
Death Cube K: Congrats to ya!
Don1963: You're right. Our veterans deserve the best and as much praise for what they have done for the country. This marathon run I'm doing Saturday is the Veteran's Day Marathon.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is in our town tonight to perform at the Memorial Coliseum. I don't think I'll be going to see them, regarding my focus & commitment for this run Saturday.
Chat with you all later. I'm at the guitar store taking care of business. Wish me luck Saturday everyone!

hey
Guys I have a question.
I'm working on my bluesy feeling
and it is pretty tough to get a good feeling
so I really would like some tips
like which songs are the best songs to learn for bluesy feeling
and what kind of practice is needed to get a nice feeling
besides listening to blues which I already do pretty much :P
if someone responds it would be really nice thank you :D:P

Wowz! Joe was here and I was off baking a pie or being with my Steve. I'm not asleep at the switch....really!
Steven Tyler didn't return Joe Perry's phone calls!!! That sounds familiar AND then he shows up at Joe Perry's gig and gives him a big hug and assures people he is staying in Aerosmith!! These guys don't take themselves too seriously and shake things up by checking on their audiences by dropping bits of rumors or "news?"
BEST OF CALIFORNIA besides Joe Satriani and San Francisco? The redwood forests of the coastal areas--BIG BASIN, BIG SUR, HUMBOLDT REDWOODS STATE PARK, MUIR WOODS, Van Eck Forest, DEL NORTE COAST, and JEDEDIAH SMITH STATE PARK!!
I guess that's the "old country" of California. Nature's skyscrapers. And then there are the Sierra's Giant Sequoias!
We have the trees if you have the time to come take a look and enjoy the peace and quiet (at the best times). We believe in hugs not just tree hugging!!

Glitzy - good luck for the marathon, am currently sitting by the pool with a lovely Mojito, wishing you luck half way round the world.
My roo iPhone app records the last song I played so that's why my posts always show Ten Words even if I haven't been listening to it. I actually use my separate iPod not my iPhone one, a bug for roo to fix I think.
Joe, hope you've perked up.
For Chickenfoot in Australia say "aye"!
Currently have Ten Words by Joe Satriani paused. Posted using Talk2Joe - one of Roo's iPhone apps

Cappy Steve: It's all good. Like I said, I'm with you. It's nice to be at the top of the food chain, but like you said there are some pukes who take advantage of that and just go around shooting shit up.
I think that it is safe to say though that for the most part hunting has taken on more of a sporting/social role than a need to put food on the table, otherwise people wouldn't spend so much on gear, tags and licenses. But, that doesn't change the fact that if you're going to take an animals life, there better be a purpose behind it.

The cost of the CD or DVD really doesn't matter to me as long as I can afford it. If I love the music, I;ll pay the price.
DTS- Will have to buy Them Crooked Vultures new one.
Please don't let the Aeorosmith legacy go down this way.
I am a KISS purist, preferring the original lineup although the musicality of the two newest guys may be greater.I didn't go see them in Little Rock and will not for the same reason I will not see VH.
Joe hope you are feeling better. Balance your protien and carbs equally eliminating the "bad fat" . I eat beef maybe once a month. A lot of fish and chicken, but not the feet.(br)
My daughter's marching season is over and she has been selected to play guitar in the jazz band. The problem is she wants to wimp out on learning these "new" chords and I am trying to motivate her. She can do it. She is just being a little lazy. I explained to her that if she pushes forward with this she has the opportunity to become a much better musician. I thought maybe I could get Dave Weiner to give her some help online. Maybe that would motivate her. I understand she is a little burnt out after the marching band season.
Best wishes all.
