In case anyone enjoyed it so much or didn't get a chance to see it in theaters, It Might Get Loud is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com on DVD and Blu Ray. I believe the release date is 22 December.

Jimmy Page's solo electric guitar performance of Ramble On during It Might Get Loud is worth the price of the DVD, in my opinion. Everyone needs to add it to their Christmas lists...

For the love of Mark--HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Thanks for helping educate me about Ireland..Alan Mc.....I got a lesson about the Kinks and the Who trading riffs last night on Q107 Calgary...Nights with Alice....Cooper.

The Who and the Kinks were on the same wavelength when the songs "Can't Explain" and "All Day and All of the Night" were written. Guitar sounds that shook the world!

What's this about Alan Mc and all these T2J ppls wanting me at a "back door"??? You guys are so into the luni club....it would be tough to find a way out! I have to go to work today and you guys are putting strange ideas in me head!

I'm not gonna take this!

BTW, what does 50% tax buy the citizens of European countries???????? Healthcare??? Roads & maintenance??

In the USA I feel like I'm walking in outer space.....we are off in an orbit of our own AND we are supposed to belong to the same planet.......Football with the pointy ends......International Football or Footie (seems more REAL to me) :-) ;-/

That's effed up!

Texas senator Kay ? is saying that one of the shooters was going to be shipped back to the war (3rd tour?), and he flipped out. It's really not gonna help matters than his name is Islamic. People will freak on that alone. Soldiers are from every background, but due to the hype, we all gasp. Send me back to war for the third time, I'd prolly start friggin shootin' somebody too.

End the fucking war already!!!

So sad.

War is good for nothing.

It's time to head up to LA for the Jimmy Kimmel taping.

Look for me (and cosmic_ape) on TV tonight, if you want. We'll be in the regular studio audience, which I think is different from the crowd that'll be in front of the band as they perform. I don't watch the show, so I'm not sure how it works.

I've heard they'll do two songs...any guesses on what they'll play? I'm expecting Oh Yeah and Soap On A Rope, but I'd love to be surprised and get a pair like Sexy Little Thing and My Kinda Girl instead.

..hey you know something man their realy isn`t anything wrong with my brain .This is what happened to me!.At kingston pen they told me to get a piston a 2 cycle high reveing european engine. When I was their when I was 19 or 20 just before that I averaged 14 fatal assault`s aday meaning giving someone a pumch and them dyeing police don`t man any attemp,s! but these fatal assault,s make an oil that cloeect dirt it actaul makes your brain like a stagasaurs look,s!. Before it does that it drop,s from creation of the young premature dirt whic makes you halucinate alittle so they diagnose you with schizophrenia the medcine doesnt do anything ,the right hand dont know what the left hand is doing. Then as your takeing medine the dirt build up is too much to bear and the haluinations you do everything possible to get the piston with the piston pumpming were perfectly fine like kingston penitebtaiarie said they said some days I have done ove 80 fatal assaults and dont have no recall, for it so just get apiston so in a way my r+j machine cylinder and cycle salvage emergency were tottaly relevant to this art your,s wolf2. the dirt makes you halucinate aufdio shit with the piston you pass it you shit it all out your fine later wolf2.

Some of those Army guys are a little off in the head. They get messed up on their first or second combat tour and the Army keeps sending them back because they are stretched thin. I've been there twice and both times I met people that I knew early on it was best I stay away from them; people that shouldn't have been allowed to carry a gun. And it wasn't even their fault really. It's not like you can say "eh, I think I'm fucked in the head, I better sit this one out", you gotta get a doctor to say that. Unfortunately in the end it is usually the people who are undeserving that are diagnosed with a mental disorder and given a generous medical retirement for one reason or another, usually because they are tired of the deployments, and the guy that's really messed up has a real condition that goes unnoticed because the doctors are too busy with the fakers, and shit like this happens. I just finished reading the article, the irony of this is that the shooter was actually a psychiatrist at the base. Hell, it may have had nothing to do with the deployment, maybe he had a dick for a boss or something. Nothing makes it OK, though. This happens at U.S. bases in Iraq and Afghanistan too, just doesn't make big news over here. Sadly, this will change nothing.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now...

I do believe I read on the CF website that they will be playing "Oh Yeah" and "Sexy Little Thing" on Kimmel. Although the show is taping tonight, it will air tomorrow night!

And, since the folks at Best Buy are being douchey with my white album pre-order, which just shipped today, I made the 115 mile round trip to Best Buy and picked it up myself. No way in hell I was gonna wait until the middle of next week for the other one to get here. I'm gonna go watch it with dinner! HaHa, I'm having a chicken breast!!

turboIan, I agree 100% with yer soapbox rant. Sorry you had to see it first hand. Did I mention I hate war?

115 miles - you go boy!! lol!

Don1852, hope yer feeling better soon.

Anyways, I just got off the phone with me mum. She's going down hill again. They just put her on an antibiotic (again) for 10 days because they think she might be starting to get pneumonia. She's also filling up with fluids in her legs and feet and has gained a few pounds from it. That's soo not good. She's sick from taking one of her antibiotics on an empty stomach - her plea - "I had jello". *sigh* I'm tellin' ya, raising yer parents is the hardest thing. Anyways, very frustrating convo, so I'ma go have a nice cocktail and see if I can get my shoulders to come down a few notches. Right now, the tension has them feeling like they're up around my ears.

Happy place, happy place, where for art thou happy place?
