I remember a day in 1993 , watching the Jay Leno show, as he introduced some guitarist I never heard of called Joe Satriani. I watched and listened, totally enamored by the performance of "Cryin'" and "War".

I thought, "Who is this man from Nazareth"?

I rushed out the next day to get a copy of the "Extremist", and have ever since anticipated, and was rarely dissapointed by, a new album release. I have seen a G3 show, and 4 Joe shows. I have been very much a fan.

Last nite, the Jimmy Kimmel Show...Chickenfoot...Joe introduced as a legend...

Joe, I hope and pray you are not experiencing drug or alcohol issues.I It pains me horribly to say, but that was not a good performance by you last nite and I am sure you know it, perfectionist that you are.

So very sorry to say that was not the JS I followed all these years. I like the Chickenfoot music, but my outside observation says that this was not a good influence for you.

I am sure the other fans here will grind me into the ground for this, but I can't help but say I was quite disappointed, and now very disenchanted.

Maybe it doesn't sound that way, but still love ya and your stuff.

Skippy: I saw Jimmy Kimmel last night it was tiring to watch that's until Chickenfoot came on at the end. it felt like forever for them to come on but it was worth it. the only thing i didn't like was they showed so many damn commercials that they cut them off doing Oh Yeah.

michelle: Congrats!! on your 22 anniversary

Honestly brownbow, did you and I watch the same Chickenfoot performance on Jimmy Kimmel? I don't see at all what you're talking about.....I heard no sloppiness on Joe's part, he was as good as always. Maybe you're just used to his guitar doing the melody all the time instead of hearing a singer?....it's hard to deny how happy being in this group has made Joe, and his exposure has at least doubled, plus they are a damn good time to see live in concert!! Anyway, I thought they were great and dey got my buttons poppin off my chest with pride, lol!!

Michelle and Dave, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! U know yer one of mah favorite couples :))) Enjoy yer day together, and keep having a happy life!! LUUUUURVE UUUU!!!

Chad, how ya doin?? What's this about a surgery? U okay?? How is our lil Logan-berry doing? I'm okay, just so busy with my folks, job...life stuffs :)

So cube, if there's a story as u keep sayin, when do we get to hear it, eh? I can only hold my breath fer so long u know!!

It's the weekend Mckenna....drink in moderation, call home a few times to check in whenever u go out, eat healthy....oh, wait, sorry, I was hallucinating there fer a bit....have a gad damn good weekend, beer, loud bars, falling in ditches, bus rides to somewhere....the usual! LOL!!! U know I luv u ;)

I'm sure I've missed stuff and I hate that, but it's so hard to go backwards when u get this far behind on posts, so I apologize to anyone who has said stuffs to me, I don't mean to ignore anyone. My dad is home, both my parents are tired and pretty confused at this point and need lotsa help, so that's where I am when not at work. Tonight I'm cookin a celebration dinner and I think he's finally got enough appetite back to eat some of it :) Chrispy is doing good, coming home in 3 weeks for Thanksgiving and before I take him back home, he gets to go pay off and pick up his JSX HALF STACK AMP, WOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOO!! Betcha he doesn't sleep fer at least a week beforehand, lol!!!

Love ya all, happy weekend peeps....and I LOOOVE, LOOOOVE, LOOO-OVE u too Joe :)

Blue_Moon--an attempted robery by 3 men at a jewelers there in dublin city centre.....That is very funny! Those guys must have been completely lost! It would be interesting to find from which cave they originated!

Roy Slans--What's come over you these days? Have you been eating that "funny" oatmeal???

"Angels of Love" arrived in the mail along with YNGWIE JOHANN MALMSTEEN, CONCERTO SUITE for GUITAR and ORCHESTRA in e flat minor with the NEW JAPAN PHILHARMONIC live on Wednesday! Great DVD and heavenly CD! Yngwie is a guitar master in his unique way!

Gotta get ready for work now.

Take care all.

ibanezjoan, great performance for a fantastic song! I twittered it to Joe so he can see it too :-) I'm listening to it again for the second time. Jayzus I love that song live! Thanks for the "gift" - I love it!

Thanks for the anniversary wishes peeps! We started off the day by going to the cemetery to update our info. (it was the only day we both had off) We bought our plots back in '94 I think, so it's all just sitting there waiting for us. lol! We still have vaults & urns to buy, but that'll come later. The bronze & marble grave placard with our names on it that we bought in '94 now costs more than double for what we paid for it! It's so expensive to die these days ffs!! Some people get all weirded out by all this, but it's a part of life. Occasionally I take my kids there just for shits and giggles, and we goof around, my daughter takes pics for her photography collection of the statues and whatnot, and we try to make it a happy place so after we're gone, the kids will have good memories when they stand there "with us" instead of it all being sadness.

Anyways, off to do some yard work with AWM,AWY in my head. :-)

Great to see you there too, Joe!

I think you threw me a pick, but when I looked at it later I saw it was one of Mikey's...were you using his that night?

And by the way, I thought the solo sounded just fine... :-)

If anyone wants to see me...using the time stamps from this video, I'm headbanging at 3:41 and pumping my fist ("Yeah, yeah, yeah!") at 4:55.
