Hello Joe, how's everything going? I just want to thank you for your schedule to play in Java Jazz in Jakarta, Indonesia. You're such a humble man. O and believe me, we really need some high quality music there :) Unfortunately, I'll be here in Sydney, Australia when that day comes, still one more semester for that degree to get :) Would you please at least drop by, Joe? All T2Jers in Australia would love you even more if you do, I reckon. Anyway, just curious, have been watching your limelight 1987 performance on yt, what is the title of the opening tune, Joe? Will you release it someday? It's a very good piece, btw. Well, that's all for now. I wish you all the best, Mr. Satriani, Saint Joe, Satch... PS: Pardon the English, I'm still struggling.

Turbo- there is snow in the mountains, so gauge your trip to travel during daylight hours. Personally I've always wanted to be at the coast when it's snowing. It's something I would like to witness, you know snowing and watching it fall in the ocean. Locally Portland, Salem it's rainy season, and it's kind of chilly. Not Idaho cold but it can get uncomfortable if your not ready for it.

Hey, I said I'd post info on the first satch tribute cd that we put together in 1998. Here's the link.

Back from Shaka-Bal

Do the stu: you are satch a tease! You had to go and tell everyone about sharing that private moment didn't you! :) think how difficult it's been for me to not spill the beans!

Got the special edition DVD. Mine was over 15 bucks. I thought Best Buy had it at 10 dollars. No gripes from me though. Now I just need time to sit down and watch.

Hello all best wishes..still busy.

roo - Just helping you build the suspense. ;-)

burly - The $9.99 price was just for the week of release (through Saturday). I think the normal price is $13.99. Did you happen to notice how much the regular version was? That one has only ever been $9.99, as far as I know...and now that there's another version I don't expect them to raise the price.

In other supergroup news...I mentioned Them Crooked Vultures here a few weeks ago. Their album comes out next week (11/17 in the US), but you can hear all of it right now on their YouTube channel.

The first song is here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ6arQ-qK34), and you can find the rest in the links to the right.

death cube k - Sorry to go off on this, but my biggest gripe with the current version of Kiss is that Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are dressing up as Ace and Peter. I doubt you had the chance, considering the circumstances, but I'd love to hear Tommy or Eric's real response to that. They're great players in their own right, but I couldn't go out there every night when a good portion of the crowd thinks you're someone else. I wonder why they do it...is the money THAT good?

Anyway, that aside, I'm glad to hear you had a good time at the show. How long did you get to talk to Tommy?

Joe....Love ya muchly!

DON1963 - I have to admit it but sometimes when you get served by people on tills...welll they dont seem tpo be too bright...not all I have to say...but what you said about management actually makes sense....mind you these days around here it seems that places are only interested in employing 16 year olds so they cam pay them peanuts and give them 12 hours work each so no-one is fuill time and get benefits from the company!

punkdude75 - CONGRATULATIONS

Glitz - Aren't you a bit young to be doing the veterans race! LOL

Do The Stu i spokw with him for about 20 minutes , got the run down on his guitars and stuff, chit chatted about influences ,he is a really cool guy down to earth , its a job for him.I can think of worse jobs. his make up and Eric is a bit different from ace and peter but not much , I saw kiss on the reunion tour in 98 with ace and peter , and this version sounded better . Dont get me Wrong I like Ace, if your shelling out that kinda money he was too inconsistent . I never asked aout how much it payed or if he could sleep at night .. if you met him you would say what a cool guy ..
mikesb that sounds like a fun plan
