One thing about feeling under the weather it gives a person permission to laze about and indulge in guilty pleasures.........You Tube for example. Today has been nostalgia day, I watched" I Believe " then I watched "The Extremist" like twice and finished up with "Big Bad Moon" I know its Joe from long ago, " But I like it"....LOL
Cappy Steve- sorry to hear about the loss, my condolence's to your friend and of course to you, too. Keep your spirits up .
Hope every one is enjoying their day , I should get something done, but I just don't have the energy.
The wind is blowing like a banshee outside, I hope a tree doesn't fall on my house.......................

Peace Lily,
Thank you for the warm welcome to T2J. I read you are not feeling well. G-d Speed recovery!
Axeshredder,
Thank you kindly for the note in regard. I read you play guitar for 30 years, wow, very impressive history with a battle axe. I would be doing well to hold one for 30 minutes! Nice...
GlitzMan,
Thank you for the welcome likewise. A runner. Congratulations on 5K! And you just keep running... a 4K coming up...I am on TeamA2A4A, did the 26 mile marathon in Portland this year. I hate running. :) Run on Man!
Re: "What songs do you like from him?" In response to your question GlitzMan, it is an artists 'style' that attracts me, so I would have to say all of the songs.
In my humble opinion Joe communicates through his guitar which 'sings' for him. That precise, clear communication is a hard characteristic to employ in the art of a musician's instrument. Thank you for asking.
May I ditto the question and ask if you have favorite songs by Joe and the band? If I am being too nosey you can tell me, I handle rejection very well.
Kind Regards,
Caroline

Caroline, welcome to t2j, it's a great place :) We all love Joe, and beyond that, are all very diverse.... but even so, it's like a big family here :)
I looooove pomegranates, am eating the seeds right now....but they are the biggest pain in the ass to get the seeds OUT!!! There's red dye everywhere!!
About to watch the Star Trek movie, I hear it's good :)

I really hope Chickenfoot makes it down to Australia. It's good to hear Michael so psyched about a future with this band even as Chad may be MIA for a while due to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I'll repeat what I've said before, though. I'm all for them touring Australia and South America and anywhere else they haven't yet been, but I hope we get a second studio album before they tour the US a third time.
I imagine they'll want to play some shows in support of the upcoming live DVD...if they do, I hope they freshen up the setlist with some new covers or something else.
Hopefully this doesn't come off like a bunch of complaining...that's not what I'm intending. What does everyone else want to happen in Chickenfoot's immediate future?
Listening to: Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation (current song: The Movie)

Finally got the guitar back from the finishers.
Woohoo!!!
Sorry guys, I will look at better resolution pics in the future. But I'm sticking with this for now to make it impossible for others to copy.
It's reassembled, but not setup/wired up yet.. Cannot wait to play it!!!

Axe - that's the MA interview Pee Silly posted a coupla days ago - it gave me hope that they may still come down here after the interview where Joe only mentioned Europe, Hendrix Experience and the US.
dream3 has started a thread at the Foot site so hopefully the momentum builds.
I quickly watched the DVD in between stuff over the weekend, it's nice to see all the 12 days of stuff and extra bits from live shows. Haven't seen it all yet.
roo - nice lookin guitar, Mr Moneybags :0).

Austin-Chickenfoot has been an odd experience for me.I really like Sammy, and I obviously love Joe's playing, but I didn't like the Chickenfoot record.
So I don't know what to hope for or expect.I just want music that I don't feel like I have heard a million times.

Chickenfoot- Love this band and would love to see another album., but I think it may be a bit too early. I see the respect for this band slowly building. At first I couldn't understand why the exposure campaign was not more aggressive but now from reading Mikeys interview I do understand.
I really wish Eddie would snap out of it.
I really wish Steven Tyler and Joe Perry could "get a grip";br]
It's about the music. It's about friends. It's about how it affects the fans. It's about Rock and Roll and that is why I am so exited about Sammy, Joe Mike and Chad together in this band.

Its unbelievable its by far one of the best guitars ive ever played, its amazing, the trem rocks, neck is a perfect countour, its like a super duper strat, which is what i like most, the 6150 frets are nice thin and pointy the sustains amazing and the tension on the strings is great, perfect scale and the pups scream, colours nice body shapes comfortable pots are nice and lose, coil taps very easy and effortless its just friggin sweet, and what i like in a guitar, rich done a good job with it, action is super low intonated perfectly and pickup height is great
ill post a pic ina bit!
