TheHawkGuy - thanks for that link, guess I'll wait for the DVD of the movie and yes I'll have to see if I can get over to the States somehow (pray for a miracle) to see the band.
roy - hilarious!
Al - what was the final score? I love this little newswire snippet:
AFP reporter Justin Davis says: "The tiny green section of the stadium goes absolutely crazy. The French fans are already thinking of the nightmare scenario and fall ominously silent.
2033 GMT GOAL IRELAND! 33 mins Duff pulls the ball back for Keane who finds enough room in the middle of the French area penalty to slot the ball past Lloris.
Actually I have a soft spot for Robbie Keane since he played at Leeds with my beloved Harry Kewell and his awesome performance in Japan.

Damn! Sorry Al.
p.s. - I've seen yer house. Don't jump. You might get a knee scrape or hurt yer lame finger again. There's always next time.
Anyways, me mum's back in the ER. She's filling up with fluid. She's gained fifteen pounds in the past two weeks. They're running tests now, so I don't really know what's going on. They think it's from her congestive heart failure and her irregular heartbeat.
Dats not good.

We brought me mum home from the hospital. They don't wanna keep her there for fear she'll catch something else. With the flu and all the cooties up in there, she's better off in her own house. It's pretty sad when you can't even stay in the hospital when yer sick because it might make you sicker :-/ They're jacking her up on Lasix (a diuretic) for a couple of days, and if that doesn't work, she has to be admitted. She still has bronchitis (after 2 rounds of antibiotics), and overall she feels like a bag of moldy ass. Poor thing. She's so wore out. I was afraid they were going to keep her in and shock her heart now instead of waiting 4 months like they said, but then I remembered they probably can't do that because of the blood thinner she's on. They said it's prolly her irregular heartbeat that's causing all the mayhem. It's not pumping fast enough to do it's job properly. She looked tired and weak, and my pop looks wore out too.
Anyways...
Before this, I had a wunnerful day at work. My boss is getting written up for NOT doing her job. Ohhh, how effin sweet it is!! The big boss has finally seen all the things that the rest of us put up with every day, and lemme tell ya, she's sooo not happy with her. lmao!! Totally made my day!!!
