Jake5150 - We haven't heard anything here. Wikipedia's entry on the G3 tour has a 2010 listing of "Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Matt Reis," but there's no credit for that information so it means nothing.
I've never even heard of a guitarist named Matt Reis, has anyone here? My first instinct is that the information is wrong, mainly because I don't think G3 would go out with an unknown guitarist (even though I think I've wished for that in the past).
Joe is doing the Experience Hendrix tour in March, so a G3 tour would have to be after that...but I don't think Joe would commit to another tour now without knowing what's up with Chickenfoot (or what's up with Chad Smith and the RHCP, actually).
Also, I don't see Steve Vai touring next year...if he were going to promote his recent live album with a tour, he'd be playing shows now.
Just my thoughts... I wouldn't mind a G3 tour next year, but I'd rather have more Chickenfoot or solo Satch than a G3 tour with an unknown guitarist.

I have lived in beautiful Juarez, Mexico for 33 1/2 years. I cannot remember any other time when we had 3 days with snow in the same week. Expecting an inch tonight, my car is already covered, windchill is at 19 right now. I totally love it!!

Mr. Satriani, how are you? I have been a fan since 1992 I have all of your albums and 7 of your DVDs, I was just wondering are you still gonna be touring with your normal band playing all of your normal amazingly beautiful Joe Satriani songs? Or is chickenfoot the only thing your doing now? I hope you come back to The House Of Blues in San Diego, Ca with your normal band, hope to hear from, Love Ya Always!
Thanks,
Don

Hey everyone...been really busy recently. I just wanted to post this awesome picture my friend drew for me.
She has been an aspiring artist for most of her life, and I recently asked her to draw this so that I had something really original to hang on my wall, and damn did she do a good job!
She did this all on a Wacom art tablet using her computer, it is based off of the back cover of PSATMOR.
I hope you all enjoy it and thanks in advance for checking it out.
Joe Satriani...Cartoonized!

Hey Everyone!
I started my first day of work at the Marriott and it went good. Did a banquet function for about 500 people. The coworkers/staff there are nice and there was good teamwork and communication from them than my prior hotel job.
Do The Stu: I missed the Grammy Nominations (went to bed early), but I heard about who was nominated. Too bad Chickenfoot wasn't nominated. Even though they won't win one, they still win my praise for an excellent job in what they do. I have my predictions on who might win. (Don't worry, it's not Coldplay folks). Don't forget to put my name(s) in the hat. Still haven't heard from the movie theater yet.
Skippygirl: I may not be doing any Huff Run because of work, but I might do a 5K Run later this month. If I do it, I'll have about 20 runs/races in the book for 2009. One reason is my jobs because of upcoming Holiday parties.
Blue_Moon: Like the 2012 Olympic logo; LOL on the Simpson shot. The SImpsons are now Chickenfoot fans. Now the band needs to appear on the show. Again, congrats on your milestone posts. Looks like you're on your way to 10,000.

Hiya Joe, many thanks for your music and long may you rock!
Just a thought that may be of interest you. During the 60's a band called "Love Sculpture" issued a single called "Sabre Dance" and I believe that the lead guitar was Dave Edmonds
who I am sure that you know. It was great for the 60's decade and I play it often, but the recording and technique is sadly now rather dated. Joe, if you can find the time - listen to it and imagine what you and your talent could could give to this instrumental. With "Alien" in mind, "Sabre Dance" by Joe Satriani would go down a !!?!?!! storm. I am absolutely sure of it. Take Care and keep rockin' Best Regards,Mike (Frigopol).

GlitzMan....yes I would gladly take one of your jobs. Things suck up here pretty bad. A guy can't even go in the woods and run a chainsaw anymore. May have to pack up and find a more productive area if it does'nt get better soon.
