Do the Stu - If they do tour again, I would love to see another album also. The next time they go out on tour (assuming they will) I really think they should put in a very nice mix of Joe's solo and sammy's solo. Not sure if I would want them to do any Van Halen. It's probably best left out in my personal opinion. Maybe even toss in a couple of Chili Pepper tunes.

How about this one, Since Up in Flames was supposed to originally have lyrics that Sammy was going to sing, maybe that song should be re hashed and words added back to it? Just an obscure crazy idea.

Thought some of you might like this quick video. It combines my love or American Muscle cars and rock n roll (in this one it's the love of one of my GTOs and Joe's music). Collecting cars is definately a "lifestyle"

Here'a a scenario - Chad gives up CF to concentrate on RHCP, Van Halen reform with Sammy and Mike. Joe wants to keep a band going so advertises for folk to replace them.

Who would YOU like to see come in to play with Joe?

Good morning Satchland, hope today finds everyone ready to face the week.

Roo- from what one can see, that guitar looks spectacular. Too bad you can not do better resolution picture but it is understandable why you would want to prevent copies.

Blue Moon -congrats on your new guitar. Its so shiny and pristine. One could call it beautiful. ENJOY!

Skippygirl- no offense taken , I don't mind my nicknames a bit. I like to be rather silly at times ; -)

I would like to see Chickenfoot tour some of the places they have not been yet like Australia . Other than that I hope they keep recording and touring and evolving their music.

Cappy Steve- Then it wouldn't be Chickenfoot any more, it would be solo Joe. I LOVE solo Joe too, so I would deal with it.

Good morning everyone...I woke up before 10 a.m. today; how'd that happen? ;-)

For those in Australia...someone on Mike Portnoy's website posted something saying that the promoters for Dream Theater's upcoming tour have just cut ticket prices in half for most shows. So if you were on the fence about going, it might be time to get yourself a ticket. They put on an excellent show...go see them!

Skippygirl - Have you found me on the bonus DVD yet? Aside from the SOAR video, I found myself in the live footage for a few songs. Brian (Mahavishnu) and my younger brother are there too...

Ethn Hayabusa - My biggest "want" for the next Chickenfoot album is for Sammy to play rhythm guitar. Joe's multiple guitar tracks on the first album don't fit together the same way they do on his solo albums...it sounds a little odd to me, and the overdubs REALLY stick out.
burly - I wish Steven Tyler would get his stuff together...it really sucks to see my first favorite band falling apart like this.
hybes - It's cool to see you back here again! How've you been lately?

I think it'd be neat to hear Chickenfoot do Up In Flames...even if Sammy didn't come up with lyrics for it, I think it'd still work great for the band. I'd love to hear what Chad would do with that drum part...

Cappy Steve - It'll never happen, but I'd love to see Joe back with Jonathan Mover and Stu Hamm as a power trio. I was really hoping we'd get that for the few SWTA anniversary shows back in 2007, but it didn't happen. Oh well... ;-)
Don1963 - That's AWESOME!

Hi Satchland, a friend sent this to me. It's pretty funny and fitting.

Recently I received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity.

I tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else I could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, I was fed up and I yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. I shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.

So in desperation, I threw up my hands, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed - then suddenly there was total quiet.

Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that I'd hurt the parrot, I quickly open the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto my outstretched arms and said,

"I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

I was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As I was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued,

"May I ask what the turkey did?"

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pee silly - You missed the point, it would be another 'supergroup' with whoever you want to be in there with Joe.

Do the burgers - I'd agree with Stu Hamm, I don't really know Mover's stuff, but we still gotta have a singist.

Bloobuffalo - It's an old one but it made me smile to hear it again, thanks for posting it.

nice axe Roo!!

and another nice one for Blue!!

man i'm jealous!! can barely afford to get new strings when i need em.

that vid was funny, but gotta give credit to the mrs. for the discovery!

so has everyone been posting their vids on the Chickenfoot site for the contest? noticed a few from Axeshredder and the mrs. has been posting most of ours. a couple of Sammy fans have posted "vote for me" threads on his website! i think it's pretty funny, it's almost like they're begging others for the votes so they can win! whats funnier is that no one is voting for anyone else's vids unless they do a quid pro quo! or you get like my wife got on all hers someone gave her all 4's so her ratings wouldn't be as high as the one who voted for her! hmmmm maybe i should start bribing people so i can win! lmao

great point on the videos Don...i have voted for about 8 or so videos and pics.....but if you noticed in the rules....the band has the final say on the winners ...the votes will probably just lore them in that direction...i think 2 of the 4 videos (the first 2 videos posted)i posted are pretty complete in HD audio and Video and could be prospects...i bought the best recording gear and seats for them...so if i lose...at least i know i did the best i could...=)

You know it's time to resume running when........

You try and do a few pushups and discover that certain body parts refuse to leave the floor.

Your children look through your wedding album and want to know who mom's first husband was.

You get winded just saying the words "10 kilometer run".

You come to the conclusion that, if God really wanted you to touch your toes each morning, He would have put them somewhere around your knees.

You analyze your body honestly and decide what you should develop first is your sense of humor.

You step on a talking scale and its says, "Come back when you are alone".

Do the Stu - I've been doing pretty good. I have had a crazy summer and beginning of the fall. My wife had surgery and was out of work for 6 weeks. My middle son got 2 staph infections, pneumonia and staples in his leg. My youngest daughter got the swine flu and a broken finger and then my wife got staph! All of this happened at about the end of May or first part of June. Oh ya, and we sold our house and bought a new one in May. It's been REALLY BUSY!! LOL.

But everyone is getting back on their feet. It's good to pop back in. It's been a long time.

BTW, I picked up DMB Listener Supported and Live from Piedmont Park.
