Turbo236: Thanks for the amp advice bro, I went to the local Guitar Center, tried out the Line6 Spiders, the ones in my price range did not sound good enough for my liking, and the ones that sounded awesome were too expensive.

Checked out the Peavey, nice amp but also out of my budget.

Stumbled into a Fender Frontman 15G, the clean channel sounds so clear and crisp, and the dirty channel has a mean crunch, plus it's insanely loud (haven't gotten it past 4 yet!!). 63 dollars with tax and a canned food item discount (65 if you count the cost of the can). Not a bad deal at all methinks!

Talking of guitars strung upside-down... Joe Perry of Aerosmith is left-handed, but he plays guitar right-handed. Still, he has a few lefties that he strings upside down. Here is one...

Cappy Steve - Ah...the wording of your question made me think you wanted a Satch solo lineup.

If I could pick anyone, I think it'd be great to hear Joe play guitar in a band with Steven Tyler. It could be excellent or not work at all, but I think it'd be neat to see what happens either way.

It'd also be neat to hear Joe play with that band Dredg that I rave about here all the time...

hybes - Wow, you have been busy! I'm still out of work. I found a part-time editing gig that gives me a little bit of money, but I'm still looking for that awesome full-time job. I'll find it eventually.

Cool to hear that you bought some more DMB. You only have live stuff so far, right? I recommend getting Before These Crowded Streets next, and working backward from there.

Do The Stu - aarggh no I haven't found you on the DVD yet I'll go back over it. I bet you're in the movie as well as the vid that wins the Foot contest ;0).

btw is there a problem with my emails?

Al - very lovely Turkey Man - you must be psychic cos I have the tab and was trying to work out the f**king finger movements across the frets so you've shown me, even tho it will be years before I can even play it let alone like the way you, Pip, Axe can play etc.

Pip - oooh that's a shocking song and vid, but funny and yes I think Al has a new woman, a woman in red.

SCOOB - Good luck buddy!!! Don't worry about 1 song once you're in you can rip it up with heaps of Satch stuff!!

Axe - thnx for the info!

roo - again, luverly guitar - I notice it's a 1991 model you bought in 1996 and you've had it refinished is that right?

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see that the bed was nicely made, and everything was picked up. Then, he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow.

It was addressed, ' Dad.' With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter, with trembling hands.

Dear, Dad.

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing to you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend, because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mum and you.

I've been finding real passion with Stacy, and she is so nice, but I knew you would not approve of her, because of all her piercings, tattoos, her tight Motorcycle clothes, and because she is so much older than I am. But it's not only the passion, Dad. She's pregnant.

Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns caravan in the woods, and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves, and trading it with the other people in the commune, for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS, so Stacy can get better. She sure deserves it!

Don't worry Dad, I'm 15, and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I'm sure we'll be back to visit, so you can get to know your many grandchildren.

Love,

Your son, Joshua.

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Jason's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the school report that's on the kitchen table.

Call when it is safe for me to come home.

Axe; i know the band has the final say and i'm pretty sure people voting for their friends won't work, thats what makes it so funny! not sure what the band will pick. are they looking for the best quality, overall performance, or something different and more fun. the mrs. is looking for another site to post the rest of our vids. youtube won't take .avi uploads anymore. anyone got any suggestions? we still have a whole dvd worth of stuff to put up!

feel bad for you scubadaz.

She was laughing, too.

In the words of Joe, from the Super Colossal podcast:

"And of course the ten words, that's up to you, that's part of the mystery...you will fill in the blanks for me."

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but there you go.

:-)

Bubbles - As Do the Burgers pointed out from Joe.

I posted the following quite some time ago but here it is again just for you.

TEN WORDS

I’ve been a thinking lately

That I am so much in love with you

We been through it together baby

And we’ve seen our problems through

Now is the time for me to speak out

I’ve got ten words for you

Just – wanna – spend – the – rest – of – my – life – with – you

Just – wanna – spend – the – rest – of – my – life – with - you

I know it’s been a long time coming

And you’ve been real patient too

I may be hard to live with sometimes

But I’d give my life for you

Now is the time for me to say it

I’ve got ten words for you

Just – wanna – spend – the – rest – of – my – life – with - you

(Instrumental)

I’ve been a thinking lately

That I am so much in love with you

We been through it together baby

And we’ve seen our problems through

Now is the time for me to speak out

I’ve got ten words for you

Just – wanna – spend – the – rest – of – my – life – with – you

Just – wanna – spend – the – rest – of – my – life – with - you
