Hey Everyone!
McDave just posted on FB that it is Eric Clapton's 65 Birthday. Happy 65th Birthday Eric Clapton.
Michelle: My bad, thought this would help you out.
Sorry for those who were not able to see the ATHF episode.
Another day of work today and then I can have a little R&R the next two days. That means I can finally check out the links at Sweetwater and maybe see Oxley's vid post of Joe.

Edit

It was a dream come true for me to meet you at ken stanton last saturday! I know you probably dont remember, I was an older guy (55) when you first started the meet and greet you signed my pride and joy red JS guitar with the chrome fred and joes and my wife lucie gave you the hancercheifs and hand sanitizer just so you dont get a bug ! Anyway , you have been the greatest inspiration for me to broaden my musical capabilities .I have the peavy JS Head,Saturator , Big bad wah,and Time machine, cant wait to get the Ice-9.So many dvds and all cds. Really enjoyed the show at the FOX the best place in atlanta.did you know Gone With the Wind premiered there when it was first released? Been to all shows in atlanta since 1992. If you ever are in the area and need a place to stay I have a 3800Sqft home with 3 extra bedrooms about 30 min north of downtown near the Allatoona lake.also have a sound room in the basement at your disposal ANYTIME complete disgression and privacy goes without saying.

Joe - So, how much of Chad's time do you get to steal while you guys get back in the studio? Haven's seen a ton on the Chili Peppers lately.
You're really working hard these days. That Vegan diet must have your energy level peaked these days! but that's good news for all of us.

Just listened to the Chickenfoot video/demo's...cool stuff!!! I think it's awesome that these guys get together and the personalities of all come out in the mix well.
One thing I've found, every time I hear some of Joe's tunes it reminds me of a good friend of mine...Nori Bucci, out of Niagara Falls, NY. If you get a chance...goto http://www.noribucci.com and check out her music & artwork. Or, just search for Nori Bucci on iTunes and have a listen of Recurring Nightmare...a hard-hitting electric instrumental that I could see her jammin' with Joe with. She holds her own.
Cheers everyone!!!

REEL Satriani (1995)
Joe
I just realizes that you had very difficult with interacting with your manager/ producer along with 1 or 2 band members when you were making a 1995 self-title record ..Personally, I feel most musicians go though this all the time, there alway something that get in the way sometimes , but you made it thru , I don't know what is it like now , compare back then with your old band members and your set of team management /producers back in early 90s
Please tell us about this if you are permit to do so

Hey all... just got the Live in Paris... all I can say is that that show sounded great... and I have to mention that bass solo... well, thanks again, and, as always, phenomenal.
Also, anyone have ideas on how to improvise with one chord?

Wow Turbo...gr8 observation..i guess it wouldn't sound like one of his songs then.....too generic of a name!
Epiphone...Rhythmically! and breaking the chord down with different voicings.

Axe: I see where you're coming from there, but I just don't see where Ice 9 makes much sense, at least not to me.. I just thought Overdriver had a nice ring to it! All of Joe's other pedals have such fitting names and then there's this one. Although if we are going with song names I think The Soul of Distortion would have been a good one for the Satchurator.
Whatever, just a crazy observation, I'm not even here.
