Rush announced tour dates today...and they're playing Moving Pictures in full! :-)
WOOHOO!!!
oxley11 - Cool...I was wondering the other day where the rest of your list was.
Memories - Great choice! I almost like the backing behind the solo more than the solo itself, actually...I'd love to hear this one live.
Love Thing - Another solid solo...my favorite piece of it is from 2:15 to 2:27.
The Souls Of Distortion - One of my favorite songs...I love the chorus more than any of the solos, though.
Big Bad Moon - I'd likely go with another solo from FIABD, but I can't decide which. Maybe I Believe, for something on the tasteful side? Or The Bells Of Lal (Part II) for something crazy.
Crushing Day - I might go with the craziness from Circles over this, but it's a tough call.
Good list overall...that was a cool thing for you to take the time to put together.
EDIT - I added line breaks in the list...
...Austin...

Don - LOL. That's pretty funny. Ya, Dewey was the man! Good bat, and a cannon for an arm out there in right.
One of my worst memories from the Sox was the 78 extra game that the Sox and Yankees had to play. That was the game that Bucky Dent closed his eyes, swung the bat and hit one out!
Well, in the 9th inning of that game with the Sox down 5 to 4 and Yaz up with 2 outs and men on base, I thought, this is a no brainer. Yaz always comes through!! Ahhhhh. He fouled out to Craig Nettles at 3rd. In 1988 I had the pleasure of Meeting Nettles in Naples Italy. He was touring with the world baseball softball team. I was on the All Italy Navy team. Don't you know, the very first thing I did was go lay into him about catching that ball!!
He was a good dude though. I really miss baseball from those days. Drugs and money played no factor into the game. It was just baseball.
Ps. How about Paplebon serving up some ducks these days!! Sheesh.

Zinc...
Well hard to tell but I would guess hand taped but very professionally done.....Its on two discs and would appear to have all the tracks including the together jam.
Has an official looking cover and when you put the discs in it comes up with a play all...select track etc type screen...but I guess if you got the right stuff on your computer anyone could do it.
But yeah...I didn't think it had come out officially...what a catch...will be watching it all this weekend.
Had a quick check of both discs so I could put a comment on Ebay and its good quality, but yeah has a home taped feel to it, but not crappy home taped if you get my drift.
Hugs to all Satriella xx

Ok - I thought I had missed a release. That was a great show and I really like Paul Gilbert and was sad no release was made on CD and DVD.
I have seen many clips on youtube of the shows.
Enjoy - I look forward to a review or at least some comments of the show on Monday.

.....What`s Going On man!?. I been doing some rideing both bike,s well 2 of 5 the t,nt can-am 250 and the atk 406 Believe it or not I have been working on the formula mx ski-doo of mine took the rear suspension oput to put the new slider,s on it had a blown wheel to hey in the skidframe carrage the wheel,s help keep distance from the slider,s for less friction anyways i bought the new wheel befor their called idler wheel,s the old one had not been off for 26 years this thing was seized right on I had to chisel off the spacer on the aluminum shaft blow the wheel off with a hammmer heat and chisel the old bearing off and because it was never off before the bolt was so tight it ruiened the trheads in the shaft for the bolt to go into so tuesday cmha meeeting went up north to a home hardware like mine here is a building ceneter up north is just a real home harware bought atap to make new threads bolt and went through pluming to find a perfect spacer me and ron tapped it and installed it on the skidframe. The suspension is still out the, weather has been bad rainy so when the weather,s good I will put it back in if I cant do it myself some other cmha meeting me and ron he,s actaly alicenced automotive mecahinc so he has a pretty goo idea of what I am showing him./You know to buy tool,s i often use on my own equipment you need to be a certified welder hey bro to buy this tap to make the thread i used my welding certficqate !.years ago i used to to buy special visegrip cclmaps but actual what,s called welder,s clamp,s anyways people probably wonder why my old formula is the only one out their because to restore it to be rode according to law you need to abe a gold seal cetrified mig welder because the advancements of the machine thats why mine is the only one out their now .Anyways hopefullly everything is well guitar good! yes ! later wolfie2.

Yes a professional taped version of that G3 tour would be awesome. But it is not meant to be.
But the youtube videos are a nice consolation prize.

fatape, I would have loved to come back in, but I had to tiptoe off to work. I would have enjoyed a nice day off, but I'm off the weekend so WEH-HEY!!
Went into work today to find out that a former coworker had passed away. I worked with her for 6 months before she left to move in with her bf in another town. We kept in touch through text & email for a while, but then she didn't answer back. Never mentioned she was sick. Last I heard from her was a year ago. We had some hilarious times, and I think the hardest I've ever laughed at work was with her. We had the same sense of humor - always on the same page with our jokes and references. She had a hard edge, but that was just part of her character. She was the single mom of 7 girls. They're about 25 to 15 now - and 6 grandchildren. 46 years old. Smoked like a chimney. Died of lung cancer.
