Hi Joe and everyone in Satchland!!
I won M.V.P in my All- star softball game!!! I was playing aginst some of the best of the best... my team lost but I was chosen by all the coaches to recive this award. I hit a solo homerun and double, i also made three outs, two on first, then in the bottom of the 5 inning i made a diving catch in shortstop. I am still in pain from that catch!!!
Oh and before I forget.... I just recived a Telecastor guitar from my grandfather at one of the music stores. I have never used this type of guitar, Any tips...?
(Joe any tips about a Telecastor guitar... im soo confused)

Well .....came home early from the hydroplane races temps well over 100 degree's yesterday and a heat advisory that temps well might reach 106 mid-day.
Too hot for me..lol even though I was in a boat ....
they had a air show the jets were doing remarkable stunts and the stealth bomber was creepy (soooo quiet). Main races today but tooo much sunburn and too much party for me.
Freddy and Shannon- All the best to both of you . I am touched by your story and touched by your love for each other and the love you share for Joe's music. May you have many years of beautiful new memories together.
GG2- Happy anniversary...hope you and your hubby are doing well. the aquarium sounds very interesting.
Scuba-Congrats on your raise. that is an awesome increase.
I have a new Satch song association to share....cigarette boat ride at sunset ...water like glass ..air cool and full of that summer sweet scent -going I don't even know how fast...
Song playing in my mind as we fly along ....... "One Big Rush"
:-)

good sunday to all!
been a while since i last visited. been busy of late. that and doing this manual labor job in this heat has been draining to say the least. the mrs was bumping me trying to keep me awake the other night cause i was nodding off at 7:00 pm. hope life isn't being too hard on everyone and you are finding the little joys are still around.
freddy and shannon i caught your posts while catching up on the multiple pages here and wish much happiness and joy to you both. it was and is a struggle the two of you have overcome and is inspirational to others.
great to see Joe so busy with all the writting and playing. guest appearences everywhere. even time to party with Sammy the other night. He must be having a great time. still finding time to put up some blue now and again too! might sound a bit cliche but........ Rock On Joe!!!!

Conch, I don't have too much trouble with assholes, there are lots of them around and are relatively easy to deal with. I just don't like liars. I really can't understand why anyone would pretend to be someone's friend and be 'anonymously' awful to them. I used to be a werewolf but i'm alright nowooooooo and very busy with my metal detector. LMAO

I cut up my eyebrow today playing soccer, 3 stitches, hurts more now than when it happened, but nothing major. First stitches in 20 years of soccer playing, not bad!
Wooley: Really liked that link, reminds me quite a lot of Adrian Legg, thx for sharing.

@The Hawk Guy-I'm rooting for Matias Rocha. I like his work. Except one little part is heavily influenced by Steve Vai's "I Know You're Here" from the G3 Live In Denver. Even the backing track is dead on familiar. Listen from 2:52 to 3:08 of Matias' video. I'll re-post it to save time.(For everyone else)
And then listen to Steve's video from 5:10 to 5:54. I Know You're Here
Same notes from the tapping and same keyboard sound backing track.
But I still like his work.:)

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention. I realized Rush is getting a lot of attention lately. They had just confirmed that the ENTIRE song/album "2112" is going to be on the new Guitar Hero. See for yourselves.

Mc K: Bad falls? 'Cause unless you're a goalie you really have no excuse for the hand injuries :) I've been very lucky so far but I'm pretty sure that at one point in my life I will require knee surgery, the right knee makes a rather audible bone-on-bone noise when I do situps. Ahh, the joys of soccer!

Very beautiful acoustic guitar, soothing for a manic Monday. Some songs put me in mind of Trace Bundy, but still different. :-)
