If the new single comes out on the 7th (EDIT - I thought I read somewhere that that was the day, but now I can't find it...maybe I'm crazy? Haha.), I figure the podcasts might start sometime the next week after that...? That'd roughly work out to releasing one a day until the album comes out.
So I guess that means we have about two weeks to wait. But if we want to be surprised, maybe we can start the countdown at something like 50 days right now and then jump from 30 to 0 at the very end...haha.
I want new Satch now! ;-)

Do the Stu - if your theory were correct and there are 12 songs on BSAWW, with the Oct 5 date (remember that date everyone, CD release AND my birthday!) we might expect podcasts to be eked out from 23rd September I suppose.
You going to any west coast shows Austin? Maybe boost your tally of Joe-shows?
I thought the pre-order of the CD I did said it would be signed, maybe not for outside the US? Hope so, I really enjoyed receiving the signed copy of Dave Weiner's CD hope Joe can do the same.

Austin- I believe you read correctly; I remember reading somewhere that the 7th would be the download date for "Light Years Away".
Freakyfingers- From what I've seen a lot of people are hoping for some rarities this time around. My only complaint is that everyone here hasn't put Dog With Crown and Earring in their set list, ha!
I've really been getting into Super Colossal lately; especially some of the songs I haven't given proper attention to: It's So Good, Theme For A Strange World, and Movin' On. I have been playing ISG almost non-stop for a week. I would really love to see Joe play that one live. I know I said my 32 song choices were final, but I may have to switch one out for ISG. I need to get on the ball- Super Colossal is 4 years old and I'm still working my way through it. I'm sure Chickenfoot III will be out by the time I get through PSATMOR.

Dear Joe
I have never written to a celebrity I never felt they deserved it .Yeah it’s kind of a bleeding heart story and yeah I am applying to the soul I feel when I hear your music .You have always filled me with such inspiration and lately it’s your playing that’s helped me pull through a lot of health problems. I have had cancer for over a year now and with 2 surgeries and 14 5fur3 treatments it’s been a lonely place a place not many have live long to talk about .I’ve been doing much better now but I still am very alone with this thing. I told you’d I’ve been through a lot and I want you to know your beautiful phrasing and tone takes me away when things get rough .I’ve only seen you twice once with G3, You Vai and E., Johnson.(I have now idea as how you did it but you f’n blew them and everyone the in the weeds).Joe I know you’ve had some up’s downs but you always come out on top. I don’t know how chicken foot is going to turn out (I mean you’re a tough act to fallow) you’ll come out on top as you always do.(I personally don’t care for Sammy ) I get the feeling it’s something to do but I do like what I’ve heard. I could be totally wrong but To me you sound kind of frustrated with the whole thing. Maybe you should start something with a non deplume ( a different name and just let it go) It’s with great sincerity and frustration that I write to you today .I said that everyone goes through a lot of shit…I don’t know what happened but I know something hit home not long ago .well damn it Joe like all of us I need some light to shine my way …I’d make it my own way but cancer has taken it’s toll all the way around .So basically what I’m asking is if you could ask your sponsors for maybe to help a long time fan and cancer patient if they could find it with in their time and pockets to help a brother out of funk with a scratch and dent .. If not then just for the hell of it. The guys mark the damn things way out my league I got balls but at 900 % mark up jeeezuz, It sure would shine some light on a cancer ridden potato head like my self. If not it’s cool I know the ass holes only to well. If you have the time at least I could ask for is an autograph, Peace brother and to all treatment and invention.

Austin, on the Road Page, click on the preorder link for the new album...it takes you to a new window and there is where it says the download for the mp3 will be available on Sept 7th....so yeah, yer crazy but not about that, LOL!!
I'm with Skippy...if I remember correctly from Super Colossal and PSATMOR, the podcasts started showing up "x" # of days before the official release date, depending on how many songs. Dunno if Joe will preview the 11 only from the album, or include the 12th possible bonus track, but it should be 12 days prior to Oct 5th...ending on or very near the 4th....so yeah, somewhere around Sept 23ish will be my guess :) But I suppose we all hafta just wait and see. I keep checking for sound samples, cuz those will likely start appearing before the podcasts...at least I HOPE SO!!!
Dinner at my folks' house last night, and we got around to talking about Chris and I going to Tahoe in a coupla weekends. My brother said, "so he's not gonna do any more of his own stuff?" and of course I had to educate them as to the new solo album and release date, and said he's kicking off his tour Oct 16th in Dublin, Ireland. So my mum says in all seriousness, "So you're going to Ireland then?"
LOL!!! Just a walk in the park, tra la, tra la.....I love them so! They unnerstand and accept that their daughter and grandson have an "addiction", and are as supportive as they can be :)) My moms biggest question, every time they know we're hitting the road for a show or shows is....will there be SEATS?? She just can't comprehend the 12 hours standing in line plus show time for ANYONE!! (yes, she thinks we're crazy but we're related so she has no options)
LOL!

SCORPIONS, QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, GUNS N' ROSES Drummers To Pay Tribute To JOHN BONHAM - Aug. 29, 2010
September 25, 2010, marks the 30th anniversary of the passing of LED ZEPPELIN drummer John Bonham. His groove and sound is considered to be the most influential of all rock-n-roll drummers; John "Bonzo" Bonham is the undisputed king. Bonzo will once again be honored in a special concert featuring rock's biggest names behind the kit at the Key Club in Hollywood, California.
On stage and for one night only, a rotating cast of guest drummers perform their favorite LED ZEPPELIN songs.
Confirmed drummers include:
* Steven Adler (GUNS N' ROSES, ADLER'S APPETITE)
* Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL, DIO)
* Kenny Aronoff (JOHN COUGAR, JOHN FOGERTY)
* Frankie Banali (QUIET RIOT)
* Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN, FOREIGNER)
* Fred Coury (CINDERELLA)
* Jimmy D'Anda (BULLETBOYS)
* James Kottak (SCORPIONS)
* Khurt Maier (SALTY DOG)
* Chris Slade (THE FIRM, AC/DC)
* Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, CHICKENFOOT)
* Brian Tichy (WHITESNAKE, FOREIGNER, BILLY IDOL)
* Joe Travers (ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA, DURAN DURAN)
* Simon Wright (AC/DC, DIO)
Carmine Appice (VANILLA FUDGE, ROD STEWART) will perform via video.
Joining the drummers on stage will be musicians Brent Woods (guitar), Michael "Denim" Devin (bass), Keith St. John (vocals), Stephen LeBlanc (keys) and Brian Tichy (guitar).
"Not a day goes by where I don't think of John Bonham's snare sound, and it hit me — 'Why isn't there a Bonzo tribute where every drummer gets up on a Vistalite kit, with gong and timpanis, and plays their favorite ZEPPELIN song?" co-organizer Brian Tichy, said. "I thought of all the drummers I know that worship at the alter of John Bonham and being in L.A., there are so many here."
Promoter Joe Sutton took care of the rest and has helped organize this striking tribute. His moxie for the all-mighty Bonzo and LED ZEPPELIN has never wavered.
"First and foremost, LED ZEPPELIN is the greatest band in the world and it is not a coincidence that John Bonham was the drummer," Sutton said. "Bonham's drumming is one of the main reasons that they were able to sound so huge."
Sutton continued, "I remember the day that John Bonham died; it broke my heart. Not only to lose a great man and the best drummer in the world, but to lose LED ZEPPELIN as a band was just devastating to myself and everyone I knew. So to have a chance to put together a tribute 30 years later for the almighty Bonzo I will use all of my efforts and experience to put together a very special night."
Tickets for "Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same" can be purchased at Keyclub.com.
The Key Club is located at 9039 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

@cheese101- It could be real. But I do know for a fact that "The Squares" was Joe's debut in a band. I not sure how long they lasted though.
Still working on the sunrise video. Hopefully should be up by tomorrow.
How many people here pre-ordered tickets?? I want to pre-order Club Joe tickets but I don't anyhwhere near 300 dollars. it's good to know that he will be playing in NYC for two nights. That spreads out the amount of people who want to go to the concert.
