Hi Joe :)
I was just curious if you got my email. I wrote an email to Mick Brigden (to be forwarded to you) about the audio book I wrote called The Guitar God Teachings. In case you haven't heard it about its a teaching that explains precisely how the guitar gods do it as far as the mental technique. You do it naturally, but others can do it if they understand how to do it and that's what the audio book teaches. When I apply the principal to my own performance I notice a night and day difference in my ability and sound. I'm just looking for a comment, endorsement, or a collaboration of some kind. I'm looking for a break. :) I'm just a disabled guy who has been studying psychology, philosophy, metaphysics, cosmology, energy medicine, spiritual teachings, meditation, qigong and the like for a years and just happened to dawn on me (like your songs 'pop' in your head) how a guitar god (master performer) does it and figured out a way to explain it. I just want to see more artists performing at a higher degree and I believe this audio book will inspire people to achieve a higher success in their performances as many will never figure this out without guidance or teaching. So if you're curious about it you can check it out as it is available now on lulu.com and amazon.com - The Guitar God Teachings. Thanks for your time, Joe.

Just bought a Greg Bennett Royale limited edition hollow body electric. Wrote a piece that uses this guitar on all guitar parts. A mix of many things... rock, a hint of metal (Blackmore style), then into some funky country/blues... then something more on the jazzy side, then finally into a Billy Gibbons/Hendrix style of riff.

Why, thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes :) That's really sweet of you all!
Austin, soooo, yer going to the signing to get me an autographed copy of "Red", would that be right? What a DOLL!! lol!!! j/k...but meanwhile, are you gonna be at Slims Saturday night? Cuz Chrispie Critter and I will be there, fast trip down Sat and back Sun. I decided to take off Monday since I'M SO OLD NOW!!!
66 is the new 52 ;D
Had dinner with my parents, son and brother yesterday to celebrate. My mom cooked and it was delicious as always. Towards the end of the evening, as we're all sharing hugs goodbye....my dad hugs me and says "Happy birthday honey" in my ear....so I sez back to him..."Thanks Dad, but I'm so freakin old, can you believe I'm 52??" He says no...quick kiss on the cheek then it's on to hug my mum....
We're standing in the kitchen hugging and my dad's looking at me quizzically...then all of a sudden he kinda hollers across the room..."You're FIFTY TWO?????"
LOL!!! I had to laugh and ask him wasn't he THERE 52 years ago??? He said of course he was but REALLY?? FIFTY TWO??? lmao....
It was a great moment....u had to be there, LOL!! I love them soooo :))) I've been extremely blessed to have had them with me for this many years :)

LMAO indeed - have to love that article where the photo caption is Sammy in Van Halen at the Odeon in 1982 and three paragraphs later it notes he joined the band in 85... that's not the kind of journalism we'd get from Austin fo sure
Cheese - Happy 66th.... stop the cover up : )

Hi Joe,
And Hi everybody !
I live in France, and excuse me for my english ... I know it's awful.
I think to the technicians of the Fukushima's nuclear plant.
I make the same job ...
Their job is very difficult at this time, and probably some of them have lost someone during the Tsunami.
Joe has reason : we can help them !!

Thanks Scub, it's taking me some time to get used to the floating trem as I've never had the privilege of owning a guitar equipped with one before. The previous owner's first warning to me was "don't take all of the strings off at once, or you'll wish you didn't". But, the fretboard had obviously not been cleaned in a few years and it was driving me nuts, so it took off all the strings. It looks like a totally different guitar now; I went ahead and took the trem out too and cleaned the old dust collected on the lube off of it while I was at it.
Fortunately there are a lot of good resources on the net on the Floyd-style bridges, and I got it all back together... Only took me a couple days!!
Tracie- Happy belated! I wasn't on yesterday to catch it. My Mother's birthday is today, I'm not exactly sure of her age though.. OOPS!
