I want to build my own electric guitar from scratch. How much would that cost? I think that would be pretty sweet, cut out the body, design the head. Its gonna be sweet. But it probably will take several years to finish it.
I've recently been sucked into the Dubstep trend.
So far I like Chrispy and Skrillex
More Skrillex gets good around 1:20
and guess what
Even more Skrillex the first minute sucks but the drop at 1 minute is killer!

Re: STARBUCKS CEO
While I understand the sentiment and realize that, if he gets buy in, this will push the dolts to act, I don't see much impact coming from it.
(BTW: WTF is "fair and bipartisan"? Show me 20 people and I'll show you 35 definitions for "fair & bipartisan" depending on context)
It would be far better if everyone refused to send in their taxes until a balanced budget Amendment is passed. What we need to do is throw these drunken sailors in the brig; unfortunately, they hold all the keys and the guns; hard to hide the purse when your life is on the line.
Remember kids: government is mafia writ large. Outside of scope, the only difference is the perception of legitimacy.

Hey, JS Black Dog... yup... Rama. Same venue where I saw Joe. I like that place... it's only about 3 hours away, maybe a bit less, and tickets usually are half of what they would be in a larger city.

MattS -Thanks, my daughter just said "Mom, Skrillex? Really?" I asked her if I was to old for that. She said "I'm to old for that!" She's 22. LOL! My son digs some dubstep, so I know a few tunes. I like it heavy. I like the Subskrpt Remix of Woo Boost too. Depends on what mood I'm in, but the latter one has a bit more bounce. lol! I gotta be in the mood for it, and it'll drive ya mad after a bit, but it's fun for what it is. I'm listening to Datsik, and now Bassnector- Bass Head, and my fam has headed for the hills. lmao!
Boy: Mom... I'm afraid.
Mom: What are you afraid of?
Boy: The drop... It's gonna get me!
Mom: Honey, there's no such thing as the dro-

Hi Mr. Joe,
Not sure if you'll read this but, just in case, I'll be short.
We're used to ear sounds from all over the world in your songs.
I would really love to ear "your version" of "Fado" (wich means something like "fate"). A portuguese music style wich is played with a 12-String (Handcrafted only) Portuguese Guitar.
You can tube for "Carlos Paredes", for an (good) example
Best regards

I haven't heard much from Nugent in years... didn't know he was still touring. The way he talked at the concert, it has been quite a while since he's been here. He was in some hot water a few years back with Canadian people... maybe you recall the bear problem we were having... it was under-population or over-population... but Nugent was on Canadian radio and I think he was even in Canada at the time promoting the hunting of bears.

Hi Everyone.
I'm doing alright, hope everyone is doing well to. About a week and a half ago, I went 'overboard' and got sick. I was dehydrated pretty badly, due to work, running, karaoke, and probably not much rest. Luckily, I got over it within 48 hours, and been trying to squeeze some naps in, when I get off work or doing any business errands or running.
Running is coming along good. I signed up for my fourth marathon this year, which I'll be heading to Concord, Michigan on October 9th. It's going to be a hilly one. As for my other races, they are coming along well. I placed 1st in both my age divisions in the last two races I ran in. My times are very consistent this year. I have a 5K this upcoming Saturday, third race this month.
Next Tuesday, I'll be competing in my first karaoke final, along with eight others. I've been thinking of what to sing for the finals. I did do Michael Jackson's, "Billie Jean" in the first prelim and I secured a spot in the final (two of the three judges gave me perfect scores). I was thinking of doing that again or doing Bryan Adams, "Run To You." I try to be eclectic to music, but I lean towards the rock (modern or classic), pop, and 80s. Here is a small list of songs I've sang:
867-5309/Jenny (Tommy Tutone); Rehab (Amy Winehouse); Doctor! Doctor! and Hold Me Now (Thompson Twins); Bad Case of Loving You and Addicted to Love (Robert Palmer); Drive (Incubus); I Believe In a Thing Called Love (Darkness); Serenity (Godsmack); and Bother (Stone Sour)
I also thought about doing more Billy Joel, and trying some Maroon 5, Rush, Toto, and The Police. Any other suggestions, feel free to throw them out there.
Peace Lily: Thanks for posting that link about the Indiana State Fair. A friend of mine showed me some pics on her phone and it was shocking. One of my friends from high school knew one of the victims that died there, Alina BigJohnny was her name. She is from Fort Wayne here and was going to start her first teaching job last Monday. A lot of people are accepting donations to start a fund in her name.
Fireman: Condolences to you and everyone.
Michelle: Happy Belated Birthday
Talk to you later peeps, got some running to do.

hi Joe!
I have a musical problem about the dominant scales for example phrygian lydian aeolian etc.
If we take the ionian dorian etc the normal ones which are basically all the Ionian theyre actually all a major scale i mean d dorian is c major. now my problem: the E phrygian dominant scale is actually an A harmonic minor, so harmonic minor. than there is the lydian dominant: for example the C lydian would be G major with the minor 3., so melodic minor. Aeolian dominant is also some melodic minor scale. i dont really get why we basically take different scales and call them x Dominant. I dont know if there is any relation between those scales. Its just driving me crasy. i would really to appreciate it if you would be so kind and help me with that, i am asking you because i saw it in one of your online lessons on youtube.
Thanks Tamas :)
